Rare opportunity to enjoy a gorgeously landscaped private 3 acre Hawaiian estate, only 10 minutes from the ocean cliffs. Located on the Big Island of Hawaii, this detached studio guest house is fully furnished, very private, with vaulted ceilings on a beautifully landscaped 3 acre privately enclosed fully-fenced property. Property has a gated entrance with private gate code, grounds security system, over 80 fruit trees and 2 Koi fish ponds. Studio sleeps up to 5 (one queen-size bed, one full-size futon sofa bed, and matching twin-size futon chair), has 1 bathroom with shower, and kitchen with refrigerator, convection oven, stovetop burners (3), coffee maker, blender, and all necessary kitchen cooking/eating utensils. Rental also includes a dual washer/dryer unit, clothes drying rack, armoire for hanging clothes, outdoor BBQ, outdoor patio seating and eating table for 4, fiber optic high-speed internet, smart TV, 2 yoga mats, umbrellas and other essentials. Outdoor storage shed has 4 beach chairs, 3 beach umbrellas, 5 coolers of different sizes, 3 boogie boards, multiple sets of snorkel gear including child sizes, 4 flotation noodles, beach toys, volleyball, soccer ball, tennis set/balls, beach paddle set, and badminton set that can be used by guests of the rental. Studio has a private entrance, parking spot for 2 vehicles, and 180 degree views of the 3 acre property and Koi fish pond from the patio. Pond area which can be used by guests, has 4 lawn chairs, bistro table for 2 with umbrella, and 2 lounge chairs with umbrella. Hosts provide fresh flowers arrangements, fresh organic eggs, and an assortment of tropical fruit when available. This guest house is conveniently located 15 minutes south of Hilo and 10 minutes between the small towns of Keaau and Pahoa. There is also a grocery store and farmer’s market within 5 minutes of the rental. This is the perfect central location for all activities on the east side of the Big Island of Hawaii, including sites such as Volcanoes National Park, magnificent waterfalls, downtown Hilo, and the famous black sand and green sand beaches. If you’re looking for a perfectly central base to explore all of the Big Island’s East Side attractions—while enjoying a spacious, rare private tropical retreat to relax and unwind—this is the ideal vacation getaway for you!

We had a wonderful stay with Jen and Jeff. They thought of everything you need to stay in the area. The property is spotless and the grounds are beautiful. We truly enjoyed our stay on their little country estate nestled in the rainforest near Hilo. The location was perfect to see everything from Volcano National Park to the waterfalls and black beaches. The host is wonderful and super helpful. Highly recommend and would most definitely return if ever we make it back to the Big Island!!

Our stay at the Guest House was fantastic! Jen and Jeff were so kind and welcoming to us, and supplied us with a healthy list of the best activities and resources on the island. The home is supplied with everything you could need from kitchen appliances, games, and coffee. I was worried about not having a/c, but in the middle of August, we stayed plenty comfortable via open windows and ceiling fans. We would recommend this rental again and again!

We had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend this property. The accommodations were clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home.The highlight of our daughter’s stay was getting to spend time with the baby chicks. She even got to name two of them—Fluffy and Tulip—which made the experience truly unforgettable.If you’re looking for a peaceful place with thoughtful hosts and a family-friendly atmosphere, this is a fantastic choice. We’d be happy to stay here again!

The property is lovely and perfect for a couple. I wish we had more time to enjoy the grounds. We visited family who live close so perfect for our needs. Hosts Jeff and Jen are nice and helpful. Jen has supplied everything you can expect and more for your stay.

One of our most relaxing vacations. Could not be happier with the location, and the guest house. While we normally stay in Kapaa Kauai, this has become our go-to vacation location.

Beautiful and spotless accommodations. Very friendly and helpful hosts that were responsive when we had questions but also gave us our privacy. The grounds are gorgeous and the house is located well, in between Hilo and Volcanos Park. Nice hot shower too!!

Jeff and Jennifer were amazing hosts. We loved their property/slice of paradise and got to enjoy their outdoor patio, garden, koi pond & chicken coop. They were located near a lot of great businesses and it was easy to get to Volcano National Park from their home. We’re looking forward to our next stay with them!

Jennifer and Jeff are very friendly and helpful during our stay. The property is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed. The room is very clean and has sufficient supplies in bathroom and kitchen. The instructions are clear and easy to understand.
