This property is now in Missoula, we are NOT located on Flathead Lake. Welcome to Jane's Place in Missoula ~ August 2024
We are thrilled to report that we are retiring from the lake mid-July. Jane’s Place will continue to operate, opening up our fantastic, freshly remodeled private, clean and unique 3 bedroom home in Missoula Montana! Sunken living room, new kitchen, expansive mountain and forest views, private, outdoor spa & graveled patio. We will of course, still be in Hot Springs Montana, continuing into our 20th year there.
We will, of course, be honoring all our current reservations. Please email me with any questions. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Jane's Place Missoula is located on 3+ gently sloping acres in the beautiful Pattee Canyon area of Missoula, 15 minuets from the University of Montana, the Clark Fork river, The Hip Strip, our fabulous downtown area & only 1.5 miles from the Pattee Canyon National Recreation Area.
Jane's Place is super comfortable and newly remodeled. We are not suitable for children under 16 years of age, the house is shoe and pet free. We are set up with the basics, and much more.
Missoula is a FANTASTIC vacation destination, Jane's Place would love to share it with you!!
If you are looking for a place to 'PAR-TAY', this is not the rental for you. Please look elsewhere. We are sorry to report that we have stopped renting to bridal or bachelor parties unless you are "a friend of Bill's".
During your stay in the Summer months I will stop in to maintain the gardens and check on the hot tub. I do not live at the property while you are there. I will coordinate garden maintenance with you to ensure your privacy.

Flathead Lake Vacation!

The property was very clean and Teresa was very responsive. Location was also great! Loved the beach and boat dock as well as having the boat ramp right there. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Outstanding!

The lake house was perfect for our family vacation. Our ages ranged from 1 - 85 years of age, and a great time was had by all. The home and beach area was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.

A Wonderful Lake Vacation

We had a fantastic stay at Jane's Place on our first trip to Montana. The large private beach area with dock is amazing and the house was clean and cozy and well-equipped, with everything you could possibly need. The house is set in the cherry orchards and the hollyhock garden in the front yard is beyond beautiful. The back decks have views of beautiful Flathead Lake. We had so much fun jumping in the lake, fishing off the dock, cooking and barbecuing great meals and just relaxing and enjoying our surroundings and each other. Priceless.

4th of July 2019 - EXCELLENT

A fantastic location and property. We had a group of 12 and we were all very comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub and all three decks, one in front and two in back with amazing views. The lake was just a short walk straight down the hill. We parked a camper on the beach for additional people who joined us for the trip. Overall, we could not have found a better set up for our needs, and the close proximity to Bigfork for non-lake activities and the airport (Glacier Park International) made the transportation situation for people from all over the country perfect.

Great weekend

My sisters and I stayed the weekend and had a nice relaxing weekend. The place was very very clean, inviting and comfortable. I would rent this place again. There were plenty of towels, nice soaps and lotions, pretty much everything you need in the kitchen. It could use barbecue utensils for the charcoal grill. It's a few minutes walk down to the beach on the private road. We didn't utilize that due to the weather and the house and hot tub was great! Teresa was great to work with and ensured our stay was great. Thank you! Will rent again!

Top Notch! Jane's Place is AWESOME, had a wonderful peaceful stay, will be coming back.

The listing was accurate, the property was clean and well maintained and beyond expectations . The furnishings and amenities were outstanding and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped for any type of cooking and dining, even comes with coffee beans and a grinder (a great plus). Watching the spectacular sunset over the lake the 1st night from the deck and private beach was breathtaking. Sitting in the hot tub and looking up at the stars was very relaxing and a great way to end the day. The water is very clear at the lake. Took the dog for a walk down to the beach each morning and night and he enjoyed the stay and accommodations also. Glacier National Park is only a short hour away and a must do as is a drive around Swan Lake. Definitely a place to take scenic drives from. Thanks Teresa for having your wonderful house and property available for us to have a great vacation.

A classic cabin experience...

It may never make the pages of Architectural Digest, but if you're looking for an authentic family cabin experience on Flathead Lake, this place is tough to beat. The cabin feels like it's been in the family for generations-- with quirky renos and a mishmash of furniture, just like you'd expect. It was refreshing not to feel like we were staying in an art gallery or a museum. The vibe here is chill, friendly and authentic. Everything is spotlessly clean, including the bathrooms and hot-tub. Thoughtful touches abound-- like lots of spices, pantry items and every kind of plate, bowl, cup and utensil you could ask for. At the lake (a short meander down a country road through a cherry orchard) there were all the fixings for a fire, including metal sticks for marshmallows and even water paints and an easel. Two things that would be lovely to fix: The outside upholstery on some of the chairs on the top deck could use a good clean. And it would be awesome to have a swim ladder on the dock.

Cozy home with a beautiful lake view!

We had a wonderful time at Jane’s Place! It had everything we needed and had an amazing view of the lake from the hot tub and the top deck that over looks all the beautiful fall leaves on the trees! We also enjoyed the private beach & dock, which was just a short walk down the hill. This was a wonderful place to spend our 16 year anniversary weekend! We were even greeted with a nice cold bottle of champange from Teresa to start the celebration of right! Thanks so much Teresa! We had a wonderful time!!

An amazing place to stay with family

Our extended family, 11 of us,stayed a few days in July. We had plenty of room to spread out and a lake experience to remember forever. We just couldn't get enough of the water, and learning to stand and paddle or do yoga on them. We had lovely dinners, talks, and some music time as my aunt plays piano...and she brought her music. It is a large place but also comfy and cozy. Cherries were ripe and Teresa shared some of her crop with us. The picture of the view is beautiful, but nothing compared to the real thing. GKeg

This was a great home with everything one could ask for.....

Even tho the home was great with everything one could ask for, The reason for the one star is the lack of returning my deposit, First call from Teresa said that the deposit was being returned via a check that would be going out in the morning mail, that she couldn't even tell that anyone stayed there, Week later another call from Teresa who again said check was going in the mail that day, four business days later still no refund of my deposit. I really wanted to give a five star review and even thought of bringing my family back and telling all of my friends that this place was one of the best rentals, it is unfortunate that I can't because of the failure to return my deposit with out a reason.

property was beautiful, overlooking an orchard and Flathead Lake.

Birthday weekend for my girlfriend and I, great spot for getting away. Love the hot tub on the deck, very nice bed and bedding, nice shower. Everything was very clean. Host was very easy to contact, very accommodating

A perfect combination of relaxed and elegant

We had a wonderful time at Jane's Place. It had everything we needed and more. Lovely furnishings, fully-stocked kitchen, and a comfortable layout. My mom walks with a walker, and she did fine in the house. The various decks gave us gorgeous views. Access to the lake was easy, and the private dock was amazing. We'd definitely stay here again!

Awesome Lake View House

We loved our stay at the Lake House. The owner Teresa was a delight to work with and always answered my questions. The house is very clean and has everything you need during your stay. Lakeside property that makes you feel right at home

This place is so special. Huge, immaculately clean, and right next to the lake with private dock and beach. Theresa baked a pumpkin nut bread and left it out for us.. upon arrival it smelled like fall, and all the desiguois trees leaves were turning while we were there. The views from the hot tub were out of this world. I recommend staying here anytime, not just summer. Thank you so much Theresa!!

Heaven!

Jane's Place is fantastic! The view of Flathead Lake from the decks are breathtaking. An array of flowers were blooming in the front flower beds and add a heavenly scent to enjoy while lounging on the porch. Just a short walk takes you to a stately dock that overlooks the lake and surrounding mountains. After a day on the lake it was immensely relaxing to soak in the hot tub, all while gazing at the magnificent views. The pups also enjoyed themselves, lounging in the sun and frolicking in the lake. Our introduction to the Flathead Valley could not have been better. The accommodations were tidy and very clean. Teresa was extremely friendly and a wonderful host. Our family will be back!

Great getaway!

This was the perfect getaway for a girls' weekend and would also be great for families. While the house isn't on the lake it's a super short walk down to the private shore. The views were beautiful and there was plenty of space to accommodate a group. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the lake and having a fire in the fire pit. The accommodations were clean and comfy. The only negative was the roll away dishwasher that had to be hooked up to the sink to operate. But hey, at least there was a dishwasher! Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, etc. Theresa was great and was quick to respond to my questions even though she was away on vacation. I will definitely stay here again!

Great, quiet place with a stunning view

We were surprised by the size of the place. It might not look like much (at least in the winter) when you arrive but you'll soon be quite pleasently surprised! There were so many thoughtful touches from the sheepskin rug to the fleece sheets and all of the personal care products you could want. We will definitely back. It was a perfect weekend! Awesome break from reality!!

I'm a local to the area, but living in an apartment with growing grandgirls has become TOO much for the space I have. Spending Thanksgiving at Jane's Place was the perfect solution to overcrowding and small space! My family spent most of the day in the living room/kitchen area. My adult kids could not remember a time when we had all been able to sit at a table and eat "family" style. The views were wonderful, the beach area is inviting and usable, the home....comfortable. Cozy. Interesting. Intriguing. Surprising. Family friendly with a giant bed and tons of pillows in the living room! Kitchen and pantry are well stocked; all pots and pans are new-ish and of good quality. Abundant towels, toiletries, and the laundry facilities are very handy. Hot tub was hot, clean and easily accessible. The bed in the master suite is to die for. The sheets, the comforter...so so cozy. Early rising is not easy at Jane's Place! Teresa left us with Lindt chocolates, cookies, breakfast bars and a bottle of champagne! I would definitely recommend staying here for a weekend, or a month!!

Quick trip to the Flathead valley.

The house was all open and ready for us... Teresa made certain that we all warm and cozy. The house was immaculate and a well stocked kitchen... Very nice.

Great Stay

This place is very welcoming and cozy. The views of the lake from the two patios are amazing. The beach is super close and only about a couple of minutes of easy walking from the house. It is set up with a nice dock and plenty of chairs and a bbq. The house itself was very clean and outfitted with all the necessities. The host was helpful and made us feel welcome.

great location!

Myself, wife son daughter-in-law and two teenagers were very comfortable. The decks wonderful as were the hours down by the lake. Teresa made us right at home with everything we needed. Proximate to glacier park and other things to do.

Wonderful Place

What a great place to spend a week! Teresa was very helpful and made me feel instantly at home. The house was clean, comfortable and warm, as well as having everything needed to make the stay easy and fun. The decks are perfect for watching the sunset over the lake or having morning coffee. I really enjoyed the beach area, swimming in the lake and having a bar-b-que there for sunset dinners. To sum it up I loved my stay and I'll definitely be back there!
