A great time was had by all!

This is our second time visiting, and it was just as much fun as the first. The location is excellent. It is right on the lake! Our dog certainly loved that! We had such a wonderful, relaxing time, we can't wait to return!

Excellent location , once you get to the house from parking its great . Steep steps to property are not easy for certain age or people .

the perfect get away

A perfect, relaxing retreat. We loved the view, sunsets every night. The house is beautiful, clean and well equipped. Our Labrador had a great time swimming and watching the boats go by.

Absolutely perfect week at the lake

This property is amazing! We had such a good week on Owasco lake. We are a family of four with two dogs and the place was the perfect size for us. The kids room had two sets of bunkbeds so this would work great with up to 4 kids as well. The main room (kitchen/dining room/living room) was a perfect place for us to hang out. There were puzzles and games available and a smart TV that we were able to connect our streaming accounts to easily. It was US Open week so we had some tennis to watch! The house is right on the water so it was very easy to get down to the shore for swimming and boating. The provided kayaks and paddleboards were so great to have access to. The dock and deck facing the water were great places for us to sit and get some sun. All in all, this was probably the best Vrbo we've ever rented. Thanks to the property manager and owner!

Beautiful lake house

The view from the deck was amazing! The house was clean and well stocked. We liked having use of the kayaks, paddle boards, and lake floats. The location was quiet and peaceful.

Owasco Lake get away

Our family had a blast. The property was amazing. Very clean and modern and very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you needed. The views of the lake were awesom. So cool to watch thunderstorms roll in across the lake, watching the lake transform during the storm. The sunsets on the deck were fantastic. We had great weather and spent most of the day on the lake swimming, kayaking, and paddle boarding. The water is deep at the end of the dock making it great for diving and canon balls. The house had everything you needed to enjoy the outdoors. The fire pit was a nice touch to a long day to make some smores. Lake living is the way to go and we did not want to leave this property.

Relaxing and Comfortable!

We had a great getaway! Lots of rest and relaxation. The home had everything you could ever want. It was extremely comfortable. The dock, deck and fire pit were awesome to spend time outside and share meals together. The lake is quiet and peaceful. Would stay again! The property allows pets which was great for our puppies first vacation! The house was extremely clean. Thank you for having us!

Lake vacation!

Loved the location on the water. It was an amazing sight walking out of the bedroom in the morning and seeing the lake right in front of you! Getting down to the house and back up was not as bad as I expected. They made it the best it could be especially at night with the lighted path and stairs. I would stay again for sure although a more comfortable bed would really be appreciated.

Fall Stay

Great property with awesome views. Perfect for couples or small family. Plenty of amenities on site. Beautiful sunsets over the lake. Host was great to work with and even accommodated a last minute date change!

Great Weekend Stay

My friends and I absolutely loved this place! Beautiful spot on the lake with a gorgeous deck, dock and lots of beach area. There were also kayaks and paddle boards to use. The house itself was immaculate and so cozy- the couches and beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. Aileen was welcoming and responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be booking again!

Beautiful weekend retreat

Beautiful, clean property for our writers retreat. We wrote by the beautiful water and went out on the kayaks every day. We would definitely return!

Excellent lake side spot

We loved our stay here! You can't beat the location and the dock right on the water. The house was comfy and well-equipped. There were kayaks to use and a place to rent a pontoon boat. The walk down is steep so if you are handicapped in any way, you may have trouble, but my group of late 40s folks navigated it fine. A great find!

Fantastic Lake Getaway

We had an amazing time. The lake was not overpopulated - away from commercialization. Fishing was great (husband being from England enjoys Carp fishing and was able to right from the dock). Home was updated and had everything we needed. Our host was more than reachable/responsive and gave great recommendations. Looking forward to coming back next summer. Thank you!!

Fantastic Lakeside Getaway

We had a fantastic time and Aileen was very accommodating in terms of allowing our two large dogs to stay. The property was exactly as listed, if not better - clean, cozy, with a fantastic view and access to the lake. Would definitely recommend for others to stay and would plan to return in the future.

Our stay on Owasco Lake was splendid. The lake itself is quiet--very little motor traffic--even on the weekend, which made for perfectly peaceful days and calm nights. The surrounding area is beautiful--farms, rolling hills, small town charm, and if one wants to see and be seen, Skaneateles is close enough. We will most definitely be back.

Fun family stay on Lake Owasco!

Owasco Lake House

This is an absolutely beautiful property which was very clean and had everything you could want for a nice family vacation. The owner communicated very well with us and was very accommodating. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations!!!! This is a great place to stay.

What a wonderful stay!

We absolutely loved staying at Aileen’s property. There was plenty of room for our family and we loved being able to bring our 1 year old puppy. Aileen has everything you could ever wish for at their property. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you need to cook with and the grill was wonderful. We loved getting to use the dock, paddle boards, and kayaks as well. Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us!

The Perfect Anniversary Getaway

My husband and I booked a last minute trip here for an anniversary getaway! This place was the perfect space for us to relax and enjoy the surrounding area. Our dog, loved it as well and even took a dip in the lake! The deck area is wonderful and the kitchen had everything we needed. Aileen was very responsive and the space was clean! The only reason I would not recommend this spot is if you have trouble with steps. We were okay with it and the hosts have the stair area well lit, but could definitely see it being a bit much to handle for someone who is handicapped. If your gams can handle it though, would definitely say the steps are a small price to pay for the killer view!
