The place is clean and cozy. Being on the corner lot was nice. The kitchen had all the supplies we needed. The outdoor fire pit was a hit with our family time. We took advantage of Otisco Lake Campground pontoon rental and had a wonderful day!!

We got rain almost the whole week .The fishing was great. Wish we were able to enjoy the beautiful yard more. We Loved the Causeway and the kayaks were wonderful. The small store near by had everything and they were so nice and friendly. We would Love to come back.

The view and access to the lake was great and the proximity to other activities was very nice. Fire pit and outdoor seating areas were a great feature. Access to kayaks was awesome. Decor and furnishings were also well appointed. Unit was clean and had necessary supplies. Renters should be aware that there is no dishwasher and the upstairs bedroom is very hot in the summer as there is only a fan and no AC. Water pressure in bathroom sink is also extremely low.

Superb Lakefront Home

You won't want to leave this beautiful lakefront residence! It is freshly remodeled, has new furniture, and all of the amenities are top notch. We had a wonderful time during our stay.

House was extremely neat and had lots of towels and supplies except for body soap for shower. Home was cozy and warm on some cool fall evenings. House was pet friendly and had beautiful views from one of the bedrooms. Nice hosts who communicated prior to our stay. Thank you for a romantic weekend away!

Spring Weekend in Otisco

Spent a great weekend at the lake cottage celebrating one son’s birthday and a professional success for the other son. Cottage was nicely furnished and stocked with all the basics. Would definitely stay again.

Adorable lake-side cottage

Such a cute place. So nice to have extra lap blankets, tea & coffee, and paper items included. The lake and sunsets are beautiful. Beds are super comfy. Perfect location to visit our college students with our fur-baby!

Such an amazing place, even in the harsh Winter!

We had an amazing time staying at Bob and Katie's place! We visited during the peak of winter and experienced lots of snow, which gave us breathtaking views—absolutely beautiful. The house was well-heated and fully equipped, perfect for spending cozy moments indoors. Plus, there’s a convenience store just 3 minutes away with everything you might need. Highly recommend it!

This home felt like home. Everything was provided to be able to stay for 4 days. Their home was clean and comfortable. Our dog Blu was also welcomed. A basket of towels and cleaning items were placed at the door when entering to wipe his paws and slso a blanket for him to lay on. Everything was meticulously thought out, and we loved appreciated the stay.

Overall, our stay was good. However, there were some things missed when the house was cleaned from the previous visitors. There was rotting food left inside the oven which I had to remove and clean. The gas grill was nice to have, but we could only cook on one side of it as the grill grates were rusty.

Weekend Family Getaway

From the first moment we walked in the door, we knew this was a great pick for our weekend away from home! The house smelled so clean and fresh from the moment we walked in! This is such an adorable and cozy cottage and I am so happy that we chose to stay here! It is such a beautiful view of the lake and the mountains. The communication was quick and easy with the owners and they were so nice! My hubby, my two kids and our dog really enjoyed our stay. We truly were sad to leave, but we know that we will be back!

Great week away on my own

The house was perfect for what I needed. While closer to the road than I expected, the house was very comfortable. The bed was great to sleep in, the furniture was very comfortable to sit in, and the house it self was perfect size for what I wanted. The docks were out of the water which limited the grass space but I can only imagine how much better the yard would be during the summer with the docks in the water. The views of the lake were stunning on sunny and cloudy days. I defiantly would recommend this house.

Tea and Coffee

Wonderful accommodations, well appointed, perfect for our group (two couples)Two frustration, though:1) Teapot whistled before full boil;2) Keurig - thanks! for supplying pods! We were frustrated by not understanding how to brew a cup. Eventually worked (several cups) but never understood what made it go. Printed instructions would have been appreciated. … and if THOSE are our only issues, you KNOW our accommodations were WONDERFUL!

Great cottage near the southern tip of Otisco lake, it's a little south of the causeway that divides the lake so there are generally calmer waters. We had some problems with bees the first night or two, but once we figured out where they were coming from, the owners were very responsive and got an exterminator out right away. Turns out the buggers were actually in the wall, behind the siding, but they were taken care of. Overall a great place that was just right for 5 of us. One thing to note is that the refrigerator is not quite full size. I'm not sure if we missed that in the listing, but we brought a bunch of food for the week, and then had to get creative with storing it in coolers and ice. It all worked out.We're generally the type of people that like to move around and try different spots, but if we do come back, no hesitation about re-booking with this property. Thanks so much for a great stay!
