One of the only 3 "bedroom" listings in the area. Great location for pool use.They take great care of the pool. Great views. Look out any window and see water from the lake. AC was good and fans available. It was July, so much appreciated. Most, not all different supplies available at convenience store over the bridge. Have stayed in many bnb's. Even this one years ago. Like so many, I look at them like camping in that if there is something you're really going to need, for example a big pot to cook in, shampoo or anything thing at all you have to have, bring it just in case. They might have it, but they might not. Hope to return soon.

Wonderful place!

This is our second year to stay at Dream Daze! My men love to fish and they had a wonderful day fishing and then grilling in the evening! Very comfortable place.

Perfect weekend stay!

Great location that is well maintained and perfect access to the pool + not far from the beach. We loved the house and was perfect for 3 small families with infants. We will certainly be back!

Enjoyed our Stay

Our family had a great time. We love the location right by the pool. The host was nearby, Very friendly and helpful. The unit was clean the air conditioner worked well, kitchen had everything we needrd to prepare our meals, And the beds were comfortable. We will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay in 103! Beautiful, clean poolside condo with a huge living area. Comfortable beds and full private bath for each downstairs bedroom. The only downside is carrying coolers and gear a longer distance than most other condos here. Otherwise everything was perfect!

Great getaway!

Great getaway to celebrate a birthday. Everything was as described, kitchen had everything we needed for all our meals and the location was perfect for beach access. Beach was clean even for a holiday weekend, busy but not too crowded. The pool and pool area were clean and not too busy. Helen was very helpful- would stay here again in the future. 🙂

Vacation with grandkids

The location of this condo was “right on the money” for our grandkids—so convenient being able to see the pool out the living room windows. The bedrooms were spacious for our group, and were easily kept cool with split A/C’s in the rooms. The “host” was quick to answer any questions I had.

Awesome family trip!

Overall I give this condo 5 stars! We always rent one of the condos when we go to Matagorda. They are just convenient to the beach, and the grandkids love the pool. This condo had plenty of sleeping room for our family. If there was one thing I would add, it would be some potholders for the kitchen, and perhaps a plastic pitcher to mix up lemonade for the grandkids. 😊

Good Stay

As advertised. Priced appropriately. No hot water in kitchen and no water pressure in one bathroom sink…none, so could not use it. It was great though for what we wanted place for. Clean place to sleep and rest and hang out. Big fish in the pond.

Cannot control people drinking and smoking at the pool. Condo was inspected prior to arrival no sand on the floors. Condo was treated message received was dead roaches and there are no bed bugs. Perhaps our rural coastal area is not a good match for you. Televisions have never been an issue for guests as most of them enjoy the outdoor amenities there are signs all over the property regarding parking.

Fun in the sun

We enjoyed our weekend stay! It was the perfect home away from home while my husband was in a fishing tourney. The condo is directly next to the community pool which is nice. There is no poolside shade. The condo is a little outdated, but it did not take away from the overall feel and comfort of the house. During our stay, we did have an issue with raccoons living in the void between the two floors. They were very loud and woke us up multiple times. We let the owner know and she said she would address it. Being in matagorda, the mosquitos were terrible outside of the pool area, so bring your bug spray.

Welcome to 1975! I think that may be the last time anyone did any work to fix, clean up, or upgrade this unit. The property manager and her husband the maintenance manager, were nice and easy to deal with. The HOA reps and the property were not nice. When we arrived we were informed the AC was out in one of the rooms. We were told by the HOA folks to deal with it. The property manager did provide a solution as fast as she could as well as gave a refund for the inconvenience. Then we were greeted by fleas in the condo. Again, the HOA says oh well. The property manager apologized. Again, the property manager gave a refund for the inconvenience. Kudos to her. The condo is NOT a 3 bedroom. It is a 2 bedroom and a loft. The beds in the second bedroom and loft are NOT queen sized. They are full size. Not an accurate representation. The bathrooms are disgusting! The front door has been kicked in about a half dozen times and the door jam is all broken. It barely closes and takes no effort to get in even if locked. The pool was pretty nice. It wasn’t very clean (bandaids in the water) but it was ok. The HOA folks are very territorial about the only shaded area at the pool. We were in the pool and were set up over at the gazebo. They showed up and squeezed us out and made sure to play their music to blast us out. This place is basically a fish camp for guys and not worth more than about 150/night at best.

Welcome to 1975! I think that may be the last time anyone did any work to fix, clean up, or upgrade this unit. The Condo was updated in 2022 after damage from Hurricane Nicholas. New Sheetrock,paint,3 new Queen size beds. The loft is the 3rd bedroom with 2 queen beds and a closet 2 Mini Split Units were installed in February, unfortunately, the Control Board went out. The next morning our Board President dealt with it by taking his own time to go purchase a portable air conditioning unit which took a while as he had to leave town to get one. The door has wear and tear has never been kicked in. The pool was totally renovated over the winter and has new equipment. Our pool is NOT dirty, however beach sand is an issue as guests do not shower it off. The fleas had been treated 2 times prior to arrival and showed back up, That is the main reason why the guests were accommodated with refunds. Guest arrived on Wednesday and stayed until Sunday. They were advised upon arrival they could leave and management would refund the maximum amount allowed. Guests were also given a partial refund the first night to decide in the morning to leave or stay. Guest stayed and enjoyed all the amenities. This is a rural, heritage property. These condos have been here, yes, since the 1970's, many families come and make awesome memories here and at our beach that is not commercialized and does not rent beach chairs and umbrellas as was inquired about.
