Great beachfront location. Easy walk down to the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Comfortable beds. Will book again when we return to Matagorda.

We loved our stay at Abbey’s beach house! It was absolutely perfect for 2 couples looking to escape to the shore for a long weekend. The main floor is spacious and clean with huge windows and a wraparound balcony. Upstairs the rooms have their own balconies facing the ocean and each shower has a window to the beach. The kitchen is well appointed and easy to cook in. Getting to the beach there are 2 options: trekking over the dunes or driving to the public entrance just at the end of the road. Either way was super easy. We will definitely be back!

The listing can’t do justice to the calm and peacefulness of the house. The home is well appointed has plenty of room for everyone. We immensely enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this place for a beach stay. The location is perfect!

Great beach stay!

We loved staying here. The location is perfect for getting to the beach, & the house had lots of space and numerous porches & balconies for enjoying the gulf view. The house is lovely & updated.

Super Hostess and Wonderful beach house!

A real hidden gem on Matagorda Island with an excellent hostess!! Our family could not have asked for a better trip! The home has everything you need, very spacious, is extremely clean, in the perfect location, and Abbey was super communicative throughout the booking. We would definitely stay here again without hesitation!

The house has a wonderful view of the ocean. Lots of space and is very clean. Good beach access too. We had a great time.

Gorgeous beachfront home

512 is a very large home that can easily sleep two families of four with beautiful furnishings to make you feel spoiled. There are wonderful views of the beach from every room, and the porches are spacious for a gathering.

Perfect Family Beach House

House was thoughtfully designed. Bedrooms are spacious, kitchen was well stocked, bathrooms were beautifully tiled and living area allowed our little ones to chase each other round and round!

Amazing Beach House

We had the best time. We loved coming home to this house after spending the day at the beach. It was just the four of us, but this house would be perfect for two families. We will definitely be back!

Long Weekend

Great getaway for a long holiday weekend. Views from the house are even better in real life. This community is “one with nature” given its close proximity to the dunes and the critters who live there, but still worth it.

Perfect trip

I cannot say enough good things about the property. Clean and comfortable, excellent balcony views, open concept great for visiting and hanging out with family. We all had a great time and loved the house! We had no problems walking the path through the dunes. It is quite the trek though with beach stuff. We can’t wait to go back!
