Just off Bourbon

The property was fantastic! It was the perfect distance from the action of Bourbon St, a few minutes walk, far enough to not hear the partying. Highly recommend this property.

Perfect spot, beautiful studio

This unit could not be in a better location on beautiful Esplanade Ave, walking distance to the heart of Frenchmen or the quarter. The space was open and a nice size with a small/studio kitchen. Bed was super comfortable and I slept well. Will definitely stay here again.

The unit was in a perfect area for the things we wanted to do.

It was great for the music fest, everything was close by. You can walk everywhere. We felt safe. Elise was very accommodating and Ck in was easy.

Great place, great location

Loved this place! Very comfortable bed and great shower. A few suggestions for improvement: Could have used more dishwashing supplies/scrubbies and kitchen towels. (We try to not use a lot of paper towels. And, the dishes weren't as clean as we like.) Also, towel and coat racks/hooks would be very helpful. And, suggest a toilet paper holder be installed on the wall for easy access.

We had a great stay at this awesome house. We loved that is was close to everything, but not so close that you can’t get some peace and quiet. We can’t wait to come back!

As Described

Small unit no frills. Coffeemaker is for ground coffee (bring your own). Located within easy walking distance of everything. Parking more than 2 hours at a time somewhat difficult to find. We arrived after dark and had a hard time getting our bearings and it would have been nice to have a printed map. Nevertheless we had a lovely time in New Orleans and slept well in our unit.

Perfect location

We stayed here for a long weekend to celebrate my husbands birthday. The apartment was small, but it was perfect for what we needed. The location cannot be beat, it was so easy to walk everywhere! The host was very friendly and responsive and the check in process was a breeze. Highly recommend!

Cool building. Great Location

Loved staying in this historic building in the heart of New Orleans. Easy walk to everything in the French Quarter and Frenchman St. Located in a beautiful neighborhood.

Perfect for us

This worked perfectly for our second spot in our NOLA stay. Hotel first then got farther from tourist hot spot, here. BUT this works for both. Walking distance to everything you want to see during your stay. Esplanade is a beautiful street. Room was clean and accommodating. Beautiful interior.

Place is very old and tiny and there are no blinds on the bathroom window. Was not the experience that we thought we were going to have but you live and learn.

The Perfect Spot

No matter what you're doing in New Orleans this is THE perfect place! My husband and I traveled down to eat Cajun food and enjoy New Orleans and we did just that in the most comfortable place we could've asked for. LOCATION: 5 stars for being close to EVERYTHING. We were just blocks away from Frenchmen and just blocks away from Bourbon. We had picked out cigar shoppes and brunch places in each and our location made it more than easy to walk to both. COMFORT: I swear we almost picked the mattress up to buy one for home. After a FULL day of Swamp Tours and meandering around the Quarter, we were so happy to have a quality bed to sleep on in a building that was cozy and not running over with people. CLEANLINESS: Everything from the shower to the kitchenette to the corners of the closets were clean. OVERALL: Super pleased and will not only be staying here again, we will be recommending it to people we actually like!

Hot & Cold NOLA Visit

Elise did a great job of communicating with me throughout the stay. The property had the full NOLA vibe and was well appointed. The A/C provided relief after being out in the city heat. However, after first day the shower water was not so accommodating - no hot water. Elise was responsive to this concern and also plans to have it repaired for future guests. The other unexpected experience was how thin the walls were (conversations) and how much street noise could be heard in the room. Not sure what hosts can do about this, but it's good to know in advance. Otherwise, great stay!
