Welcome to Raven Cottage, come and enjoy your own private getaway on beautiful Quadra island. We are located on the peaceful West side of the island, near April Point Resort.

Relax, kick your heals up and enjoy watching the seals in the bay, marine life and resident bald eagles (and their nest with babies) “oh ya” and some unbelievable sunsets. Perfect for a couple looking to escape and enjoy nature.

We have a 180 degree West facing view on the ocean, with your own private deck, plus patio and green space. Close to all amenities about a 4 min drive to the ferry. Our guest suite is separate from our main house and has a fully equipped kitchen, cozy living room, indoor and outdoor dining space with a bbq, washroom/laundry room. We also have storage for your bikes and kayaks.

Now all you have to do is relax, unwind, soak up nature and “oh ya” those sunsets.

Absolutely beautiful! Very nice. Michelle has thought of everything you could possibly need!! The view is spectacular and the cabin is adorable!! I loved the stairs between the bathroom and bedroom - if you have mobility issues, this place may not be for you, but it’s amazing!! Very clean. There was an issue with the communication from Expedia to us. But, Michelle made up for that!!

Blown Away

A beautiful property in a beautiful setting - the lovely photograph does not do the property justice. It is a fantastic spot with lots of wildlife to watch from the balcony. The property has every amenity you could want and more. It is very comfortable and luxurious. Michelle and Sarocha were very friendly and gave us a lovely personal welcome, showing us around the property and also telling us about the area and where to go. We only stayed for two nights but would stay longer next time, in order to really enjoy the property. Thank you so much for providing us with a lovely experience - Robert and Anne.

Idyllic spot

Beautiful outside space, seating, bbq and vista from terrace complete the inside area, which is very well thought out and conceived. Suited us very well and hosts were very helpful with information and tips to help us maximise our enjoyment but not at all intrusive. Bonus to watch the bald eagles nesting on the island and seals playing in the waters in front of their deck. Hope to be back as really enjoyed Quadra and this space to stay in. Thanks Michelle.

Wonderful!

Beautiful spot with a magnificent view of the water! Perfect place to stay-kitchen had everything you'd need, spacious bathroom, comfortable bed and a place to come in and hang clothing from outdoor activities. Nice decor and wonderful hosts! Thank you so much!

Raven cottage

Beautifully presented and incredible attention to detail. Spotlessly clean. First day there we saw a pod of orcas breach in front of us. 2nd day humpbacks. The property has a family of harbour seals across by a tiny island that houses an eagle nest with resident eagles and there is even a Martin. If your looking for some nature close by this is it.

Everything was Fabulous!!

What a wonderful place to serve as a home base for exploring Quadra Island. The decor beautifully captures the ocean setting and the Indigenous roots of the area. The kitchen is well equipped with many added sea-inspired touches. Excellent hosts! Lots to look at from the deck -- seals, eagles, and amazing sunsets. Love this place!

Hard to walk away from that view!

This unit was clearly a labour of love - every detail was carefully thought out and resulted in a place that was warm and inviting - it managed to feel high end and homey at the same time. Hosts were friendly and available but never intrusive, and we'll especially miss watching the resident eagles on the island right outside the deck!

Mindblown!

Can’t say enough about this gem! The care and pride the hosts take is beyond expectations. Charming, peaceful and has everything you will need. Thoughtful details throughout. The deck overlooks a magical little piece of heaven full of eagles, seals, Joey the mink, whales and more! Incredible area with endless things to do. We will definitely be back!

Weekend getaway

A quiet quaint little cabin, tastefully decorated with some lovely local art pieces. The kitchen is well stocked complete with an outdoor bbq. Will be back!

A place with a beautiful view

Comfortable cottage, but with short stairs from bedroom to washroom for those with mobility issues. We enjoyed the peaceful ocean setting with wonderful views and wildlife discoveries. Kitchen is well equipped. Michelle was there to greet us and explain what we needed to know.

A five Star Rental

Everything about this cottage was 5 star - the location, the view, the cleanliness, the decor, the furnishings and equipment, the amenities, the hosts. I have no hesitation in recommending a stay here - I would love to go back for a longer visit.

Peaceful and serene

Spent 2 nights just unwinding from our busy schedules before heading out to visit family. The cottage was a perfect spot for that. Super quiet and well stocked with everything we could ask for.

Sirosha and Michelle hosted our VRBO stay impeccably. The location facing west over the water was stunning. The accommodation boasted all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend for a serene getaway.

Great spot

A lovely place hosted by lovely people. Beautiful spot, well-equipped and very comfortable. Fresh flowers (even outside on the patio table) were appreciated. One note, the bedroom has 3 steepish stairs that lead down into both the bathroom and main floor that could be difficult for those with wonky knees, but there is a very comfy sofabed that could be used. Highly recommend!

Little piece of heaven

The property was exactly as seen on Vrbo. Hosts are amazing. Friendly,helpful and knowledgeable of the island. This was 1 of the best rentals we have stayed in. The view is spectacular. Saw Orcas, eagles seals and more. Highly recommend this property.

Best little cottage on Quadra Island

From the moment we arrived everything was perfect! They had fresh cut flowers waiting for us inside and everything was very beautiful and clean. The view is probably one of the best on the island and we couldn’t of asked for anything better! Thank you so much for making our trip as relaxing as possible!
