Our ocean front spacious condo in the heart of Poipu beach next to the Sheraton Hotel has it all! This beautiful condo has unobstructed ocean views from the living room and master bedroom. It is very spacious with over 1,800 square feet of living space with 2 bedrooms upstairs, 3 full bathrooms and a beautiful remodeled kitchen with everything to cook a gourmet meal. NEW laminate floors have been installed on the lower level. It's just a short walk to the beach and access to a pool with ocean views. This unit also offers tennis courts. Portable AC units in the bedrooms and living room.

Air Conditioning- Hawaii is known for its trade winds. Many homes on Kauai have been designed for "open airflow" using screened windows and screened sliding doors, and DO NOT have air conditioning. Please be sure and confirm when making your reservation whether the home you have chosen does or does NOT have air conditioning. Depending on the season, or even the day, temperatures typically range between 74 to 84 for the highs, and 60 to 74 for the lows, year-round. Refunds or discounts ARE NOT given for lack of Air Conditioning in a property.

Beautifully designed home and grounds

Big rooms. Plenty of space. Gorgeous view from patio and Main bedroom. Gorgeous grounds. Well equipped. Only drawback was lack of a/c and no ocean breeze. Room units in familyroom and Main bedroom did not function well. Second bedroom unit worked okay.

Loved it!

It was our second time staying at Poipu Kapili, and it did not disappoint! The sunset views from the wall were breathtaking, and we were lucky to spot sea turtles two nights in a row. The unit was spotless, with every detail thoughtfully arranged to make our stay comfortable. The location is unbeatable, with easy access to the beach and nearby shops and restaurants. We can’t wait to come back for our next visit!

Good location

Downstairs toilet was broken the whole time and communication wasn’t great. They said it would be fixed but it never was. I understand things happen and overall everything was good.

Wonderful stay

This was an amazing stay at this condo. What I liked the most is the owners provided the little but important things that are usually overlooked until you need them. Thea items were tin foil, garbage bags, laundry soap to name a few. The place is very well stocked with these easy to forget items. The location is amazing as it is right across the street from the wall. Which is where everyone goes to watch the sun set. This may sound like it would be a problem but it is not at all. It is a quiet event in which people gather in relative silence. Speaking of location you are no more than 5 minutes walking distance to the beaches near the hotel or a slightly longer walk to the beach that offers a bit more calmer waters. Either way the walk is amazing Would definitely stay again and would strongly suggest this unit be a strong contender in your accommodation decision.

Beautiful condo, excellent location

The condo was very clean, had a fully functional kitchen, is in a beautiful location, has spacious rooms, and very comfortable beds. The communication and attentiveness to our few questions/needs was the best I’ve ever experienced. Corey and Phil were amazing to work with. Incredibly easy check in instructions. The place is incredible, I will definitely be returning for another visit.

Amazing stay at Kauai

Clean and well-appointed with A/C and great sleeping accommodations. Spacious master bedroom(s) on upper level with dedicated bathroom for both. Unbelievable sunsets and walking distance to beaches, shopping, and Little Fish coffee. Highly recommend and will stay here again -- only 20 mins from LIH airport!

Everything about this property was 5 stars, from the location to the amenities. The evening sunsets were something out of a story book and going to sleep and waking up to the ocean was exceptional. The condo was fully stocked with everything you could ever need. Will be staying here again!

Perfect Location, Beautiful Property

It is within walking distance to the Sheraton!!!! We love that beach! The house has a beautiful ocean view. We ate outside on the patio every night. The house is well stocked. Blender, toaster, coffee maker. The owner is very communicative and very informative. Close to our arrival date, he sent us videos explaining many features of the house. I truly hope we can stay here again.

Beautiful Condo & Perfect Location

Condo is exactly as pictured and is well equipped. Can’t beat the location as it is close to shopping and dining. Beautiful sunsets from the patio and balcony. Loved our stay!

Relaxing and beautiful

Amazing in all aspects! Prefect location with many convenient options close by. The view was spectacular. Condo was very well clean and stylishly decorated. The only complaint is that we didn’t plan to stay longer. Corey was super easy to work with and the check-in was is a breeze. Everything we needed was there, including binoculars to view the ocean landscape. We arrived in early May. The trade wind breezes along the ceiling fans kept the condo very cool and comfortable. We didn’t need to use the air conditioning which was available in each bedroom and living room. Highly recommended! Thank you for letting us share this incredible condo with our family!

Needs some updating and a good cleaning

We or family members have stayed in multiple units in Poipu Kapili, and this by far is the least nice of all of them. The unit isn't accurately depicted in the photos. The off-white carpeting has stains everywhere…stairs, hallway, both bedrooms and closets. In the living room, the carpet has been covered with rattan mats that are not at all comfortable to walk on. The shower pans are yellowed and stained, and the shower curtains are moldy at the bottom. There were holes in the screen doors in the master bedroom, so there were bugs everywhere the first night. Maintenance came to seal them…with duct tape…and taped the doors closed. The dining room table is tiny and cheap, and the chairs are flimsy. While the location and views are spectacular, there are units priced the same that are way nicer. Don’t waste your money on this one.

The condo is fairly large and spacious. Beautiful views, especially from master bedroom. The condo is nicely renovated, except for floors which currently have white carpeting with a number of stains. Tile or laminate would be much easier to keep clean. The bathrooms could do with having grab bars in the Shower/bath stalls. For anyone not used to stairs there are a step flight of 16+ steps to get to bedrooms. We enjoyed the pool area and being able to pick fresh herbs from the garden.

Koolkondo, Koloa, Kauai. Great Property, Excellent location

Corey, the property manager was extremely helpful. Sent detailed messages with ALL the information that you will need for use of this condo. The condo is very convenient to all the island has to offer. Beachfront views were fabulous. Made full use of the lanai in morning and evening. Beach for swimming close walking distance and beautiful. Restaurants nearby served great food. Grocery and drugstore also close. The condo is perfect! We were 2 couples. The living room and kitchen were large and comfortable. Kitchen fully equipped. Bedrooms on second floor were large with own bathrooms, large closets and very comfortable king beds. One with ocean view. Walk outside to watch sunsets. Would definitely book again.

Beautiful sunsets!

Overall, it’s a nice location and property with and pool and great views. The sunset crowd was not expected and at first disappointing with cars and locals creating quite a tailgate party. But, by the third night we settled into the scene and enjoyed the people watching. The condo was for the most part very clean however, the carpet is in desperate need of replacement. All in all we had an amazing stay.

Beautiful location

We loved the space, very close to beach and nice pool. Comfy beds, reliable WiFi. The house had a smell (bug spray?) that we were unable to get rid of, but it wasn’t too bad, as we made sure to keep all fans running. Very noisy AC. My daughters loved friendly cat that stopped by in the morning to visit. We would stay again.

Great location

The rental process was very smooth and the owner promptly responded with us about any questions. The condo was centrally located for exploring the area with lots of good food options nearby. The sunsets right out the back door did not disappoint.

Excellent Location and Views

This property was absolutely five star. The view of the beautiful surf break was amazing and the highlight of this property. The owners of this unit have put allot of love into the finishes. They had many small touches like a bottle of chilled wine upon arrival and many beach accessories to include boogie boards and snorkel sets. Top of the line appliances and kitchen accessories abound. The grounds of the complex are immaculate and so was the pool. Our only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. I don't know how people live in Kauai without it but the humidity was stifling even with the ocean breeze. he positive is that the property manager said they were installing two units the day after we left. We would come back and stay in this exact same unit.

Little slice of paradise

Great property. Excellent host. The unit is exactly as shown in photos. It’s beautifully decorated. Very comfortable. Very spacious. It’s also fully loaded. So many great things included, like beach towels, beach chairs, coolers, body boards, everything you’d need for the beach. Right across street is rocky, so great for tidepooling, but the beach in front of the Sheraton (with public access) is essentially next door and it’s a great beach. There were lots of surprise hospitalities throughout the unit that were thoughtful and appreciated. The only issue we had was it was really warm on Kauai during our stay and the unit was hot. We thought it would cool off on its own in the evening and we made use of the stand up fans within the unit. That helped but it was still warm. Someone in reviews mentioned a portable AC, which we didn’t see while there, but that’s really on us as we should have just reached out to Corey, the manager, who was great on all our other contacts and was very helpful. By the way, he warned us about folks hanging out on the wall across the street to watch sunset. There was a large group our first night (a Thursday) and they made some noise but it wasn’t bad and it wasn’t an issue for us. Our other two nights were fairly quiet. Would definitely consider staying here again — it’s an amazing place in an amazing location. Just keep in mind if forecast is in mid or upper 80s, find out what cooling options there are.

Brilliant Seaside condo

This was an absolutely ideal place for our stay! Views of the ocean, with an easy walk to restaurants, shops, and two beaches. Check in, check out, and other communication with property manager was efficient, flawless, and always exactly what we needed when we needed it. Bravo! Kitchen was sufficiently well-stocked that we could cook for ourselves using fabulous local ingredients, when we tired of the limited local eating-out options. Very clean and comfortable, with beach towels, chairs, etc. Much needed portable AC for downstairs gave us a floor where room temperature was significantly below 80 – much appreciated! Overall, great.

Excellent property

Beautiful property and grounds. Excellent beach access for morning walks. Fantastic communication with management. Lots of extra goodies given and plenty of bath products left for use including shampoo, conditioner and body gel.
