Weekend "Wee"treat - Floyd County Tiny House

Get away to a private setting in Floyd County with your very own tiny home. Located just a 15-17 minute drive to downtown Floyd. Our tiny house is located on 2 wooded acres in a quiet, rural setting with plenty of room for the entire family. We encourage use of the entire site for tent camping alongside the tiny house. Kitchenette w/outdoor grill, bathroom with clawfoot tub, stackable washer/dryer, central HVAC and complimentary Level 2 EV charging are just some of the amenities to be found.

Newly built in 2018 - this tiny house is loaded with cozy touches and updated finishes throughout. Porcelain farm sink, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances in the kitchenette area. Take a soak in the bathroom's clawfoot tub. Although Verizon and Sprint wireless signal is strong at our location we encourage you to relax around the campfire and enjoy being a little more electronically disconnected than usual.

You'll have access to the tiny house, the tent platform/detached deck, and the 2 acre grounds. The property line is marked with green posts with orange tips.

The host was very accommodating and easy to communicate with! This tiny home was perfect for our short stay in between a long drive. I also appreciated that there was detailed instructions so it made checking in and out and understanding the property so much easier!

Host did not send code until 2 hours after expected arrival and was non responsive to messages. Had to find service to call his phone. House is directly next to another very active home. This was advertised as a pet-friendly stay, yet the neighbors have 2 other dogs that wander on property all hours of the day. It was a struggle to be able to get in and out with my dog. Neighbors son also rode a motorbike up and down the road repeatedly all day. The fire pit had not been emptied, no wood was provided or gloves and the string lights did not work out back as advertised. Grill was finicky at best which made cooking very difficult. Hot plate worked okay. House was clean. Sheets had stains. As for a beautiful area, totally. I just didn't feel comfortable and felt more exposed than anything. Was able to enjoy walks up the road though during the stay, and town was very close so it was lovely visiting the Saturday Farmers Market and shops in town. Love Floyd, just wouldn't stay here with a dog/ for a stay expecting a private retreat.

Perfect. Wonderful. Lovely. My heart was filled far beyond the size of the home. All the little touches, the awesome tub the kitchen and laundry accommodations, the firepit and surrounding woods made for the perfect ovenight getaway as I traveled south.***Highly recommend*** for any woodsy person and nature artist, such as myself.Love, love, loved it!!! Thank You Tyler!!!

Great Location

We really enjoyed our stay in the Floyd area. The tiny house was clean and well organized. We appreciated all the small details the owner placed in the house. We highly recommend!

Perfect Getaway

My partner and I desperately needed to get out of the city and away from town and on a whim decided to try this place out and it was so tiny and perfect, I was obsessed honestly. I will say though, during our trip we did have to deal with multiple stink bugs inside the house which wasn’t awesome, but I did enjoy the stay very much despite that.

Perfect "wee" treat!

Tyler's weekend "wee" treat was an adorable little tiny house that was the perfect stay for a few nights. The tiny house looked exactly like the photos, and was on a very quiet dead-end road. It was a beautiful drive to get here! Since I was in the area for work, a basic kitchen and solid Wi-Fi were must-haves, and the tiny house did not disappoint. I was by myself, but you could comfortably fit two people. I'll be looking forward to staying here again the next time I'm in town!

Quaint little house

This was perfect for what we needed, we were in town visiting our nephew for a VT football game and didn't really need much. It certainly is tiny, and the bathtub makes it difficult to "shower" bit overall it was well equipped and did what we needed.

small, but adorable!

We loved the little house! Everything is cleverly designed and everything has its own space. And it is so adorable! Well appointed! Tub was great but no shower attachment or pitcher or big cup to wash hair. We had our dog Buddy Boy with us. The only negative was the next door neighbors (who were very sweet people) had 2 dogs that wandered loose. No collars or leashes. Our dog has been attacked by a loose dog and it was a nightmare - so we were very nervous while taking him out to do his business. We did not feel comfortable wandering the property with Buddy for this reason. However, the dogs did seem sweet-we just cannot take chances, especially with the other dogs not wearing collars. The house next door is also very close to the Wee House. Great coffee and tea selection! Just such a neat little space. We were very impressed.

Cute tiny house

My husband and I enjoyed a short stay at this tiny home to get away from busy life. We had a really nice time sitting by the fire and relaxing in the claw foot tub. Tyler was helpful in getting us settled in and available if need be.

1st tiny house experience.

For our first time in a tiny house it was great. The house was very clean, organized and welcoming. The area was very quiet and restful. The scenic view getting there was amazing and the owner was very nice. We would definitely book another stay.

Perfect weekend Wee-Treat!

We really enjoyed our stay at the tiny house! It was accurately described and communication with the owner was great. Everything we needed was easy to find and clearly labeled. Our only suggestion would be adding a shower option. Quiet location yet close to everywhere that we needed to go.

Great getaway! Just a few cons

Loved this tiny house! Easy to find, very clean, had everything we needed. Great location and quiet area. If I had to critique anything, it would be: neighbor next door is very close and they let their 2 dogs (and cats) roam outside of their own property, unleashed and unattended. Their dogs constantly walked around and "marked the territory" at the tiny house. They lingered at the front door/porch, made it difficult for us to take our dog out. We had to constantly watch out the window to see if the coast was clear so we can take our dog out. We were not able to use the firepit deck area because of this. Also, the property could use a little maintenance (way overgrown grass/weeds so couldn't walk it). Even if it were cut, we couldn't explore because of neighbor's dogs. Overall great place, would stay there again, but without our dog.
