This is one of the most beautiful properties we ever stayed at with VRBO.The owner is nearby and chevks on your needs often. The home and yard and flower garden are just absolutely beautiful. The dock was soMuch fun and we had brought our boats . I highly recommend this property for your next vacaction!. The dock is on a tidal creek and the crabbing is awesome.

Great Stay Near Parris Island

We had a wonderful stay visiting our son for his graduation from Basic Training. This home is in a very private location with a dock over the water, and beautiful landscaped grounds. We really enjoyed our stay!

Total bliss!

The grounds and house were absolutely beautiful. The location was private but close to everything. Stunning views of the marsh and sunset. Perfect for a large family with all age kids. The owner was very attentive and answered all our questions about the nature that surrounds the property. You will feel like you are staying at a botanical gardens, flowers everywhere.

Amazing stay!

The home was amazing, the pictures did not do it justice! It was very clean and the property was immaculate. You feel like you are in a private paradise. The fishing pier had a cover and we spent much of our time there. It was perfect for our multi-generational stay. Would return in a heartbeat!

Paradise

What an amazing piece of paradise. So fortunate we found this place for a family gathering and it was perfect on so many levels. Be ready for an amazingly comfortable house with stunning views. The property was amazingly clean and ready for guests. Loved all the special touches left for us - perfect setup and amenities. Looking back I see I used the word perfect several times and it’s true. One of the best stays we have ever had. We will be back for sure - the best place to stay in the low country.

Wonderful Property and Owners

Our family group consisted of 5 adults and 5 children between the ages of 4 and 12. The property was huge and there was so much for the kids to do. In the house, there was a Foosball table upstairs. Downstairs in the "sun room" were many games for the kids to play including "Monopoly". Outside there was a tetherball and a very nice pool table under protective shelter. The yard was beautiful and large enough for any sport or activity you could think of. The dock going out to deeper water was in great shape and very long. The house and every room within was very nicely furnished and very comfortable. The owner visited us everyday with her very friendly dog who the kids adored.

Absolutely Perfect!!!

This location is nothing short of amazing. My entire group fell in love with the property from entrance. Nobody wanted to leave and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ms/Mrs Christy provided us with everything that we needed including snacks, abundant linens and laundry detergent. I only had one minor issue with the master bathroom shower head and that takes away nothing from the experience. Outside of this one thing, this property was absolutely perfect! She even allowed us to take our wedding first glimpse shots in the garden. I definitely will be reserving this space again when I come to Beaufort. 💜💜💜💜💜

Exceeded Expectations in Every Way!

Four couples shared this house to attend a wedding in Port Royal and when I say it exceeded our expectations in every way, I am not exaggerating. The home is lovely, spacious, comfortable, and furnished with everything we could possibly need. As nice as the home is, it is the outdoor spaces that make this home remarkable. We had morning coffee on the deck with a view of the water and evening cocktails under the stars. When a brief shower of rain cam through one afternoon, we simply moved to the covered front porch and enjoyed the view of the beautiful landscaping. The owner lives nearby and could not have been nicer. She spent a bit of time with us (at our request) and told us about the history of the property and made sure that our stay was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend booking a stay at this property if you are looking for a beautiful, peaceful retreat.

Amazing Property 5 Star rating

If you're seeking a peaceful getaway by the water, where you can fish or take a boat out on the scenic intercoastal waterways of South Carolina's Lowcountry, this is the perfect spot. The property is surrounded by stunning landscapes that will take your breath away. The owner, a retired professional landscaper, has clearly poured her expertise into maintaining the grounds—pictures don’t quite capture how beautiful it truly is. The house is well-equipped with everything you might need, and the host is incredibly accommodating, always willing to assist with special requests. Upon arrival, she welcomed us warmly and even gave us a tour of the property, which was a wonderful touch. For a small fee, we were able to host a larger gathering, and she expertly arranged parking for our guests. It's clear she’s experienced in making guests feel at home. Highly recommend booking this property—you won’t be disappointed!

An Absolutely Fantastic Stay!

I rented the house for an extended weekend for 4 adults and two nephews in their late teens. We were in town for a family wedding.The set up was absolutely perfect - a large kitchen for grazing when at the house and for the one big meal we had at the house. And for breakfasts in the AM.The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the grounds - to say the yard is expansive is an understatement. They are beautifully maintained and the spring flowers were in full bloom. We spent a lot of time out in the dock -which is quite specatular in and of itself - the views are ever changing depending on time of day and the tides. The set up of two bedrooms up and two down (including the main level primary suite) is ideal for friends or family travelling together. A perfect setting for getting ready for a busy event filled weekend and to hang out after the festivities.Chisti is a most gracious host - she came by to say hello shortly after I checked in and she was readily available when I went in search of an iron. I could go on and on - but I will look to rent here again. The privacy of the setting is also very therapeutic.

We Had An Amazing Time

We had a great time! The location is not where shown on the map in the online listings . . . It is right on Jenkins Creek at the end of an amazing oak-lined drive. The extensive grounds surrounding the house are incredible and immaculate! We used the provided games and picnic tables out back under the mossy oaks, plus a pool table in an outbuilding. But we spent most of our time out on the dock catching trout, throwing the cast net for shrimp, and checking the crab traps (shrimp & crab boil for dinner) – And also just hanging out on the water with our extended family watching all the wildlife. I kept my boat out there so we could get out to the Intracoastal Waterway and explore or head to the sand bar for the afternoon (the Jenkins Creek boat ramp is just down the road). We ate dinner out on the deck every night, and a large fan provided kept any bugs away. The house has everything you may need; well stocked with two refrigerators plus washer and dryer. It is roomy with an enclosed porch and the wonderful deck. Perfect spot to enjoy the low country with friends or family. We will definitely come back.

It Doesn’t Get Any Better Than This

This 4 bedroom home is the perfect place to relax and unwind. The beautifully landscaped grounds, dock out over the water, perfect southern front porch all add a calm and cozy feel to the quiet charm. The description is a bit misleading in that there are 2 bedrooms downstairs ( not one), joined by a long hallway which has the master (King bedroom) bath. The hallway has a door so you can close off the queen bedroom if you want to. The second downstairs full bathroom is next to the other queen bedroom downstairs. Perfect for older people who don’t want to deal with stairs. Upstairs is the third full bathroom and 2 more bedrooms both with queen beds. One has another smaller bedroom attached with two twin beds, and the other has a twin bed within the bedroom. Living/common spaces are cozy with additional privacy or gathering place in the enclosed porch. Kitchen is easy to work in and there is a second full sized refrigerator in the mud room/ laundry area. The back deck is huge and roomy. Two round tables and 8 chairs make it easy for everyone to gather around for dinner. We had 4 couples ranging in ages from 21-71 years old. Everyone enjoyed the house, the grounds and the beautiful location. The house is clean, well maintained and has nearly everything you could need for your stay. If you want a house without nearby neighbors, traffic or distractions this is it. The owner is very easy going and helpful. Easiest home rental I’ve done by far. We will be back!!!
