Worse Thanksgiving EVER 2024
THIS review is not of the property itself because I never made it inside to be able to give an honest review, this review is about the owner of the property as if holidays are not stressful enough.. My family which included 6 adults and 2 children booked the property for the long Thanksgiving Holiday to be with my Aunt and Uncle for what may be their last Holiday due to medical reasons.. we were all going so that we could at least have this time together and enjoy a big family meal and cook and all the things that families do at holidays, we had so much planned and were excited for the very long trip and to be able to see them again BUT that all turned into a nightmare once we arrived and the owner stated she had canceled our reservation the day we made it which was weeks ago, THAT NEVER HAPPENED! I spoke with VRBO and they advised she did not cancel as well and we definitely would have not driven as long and as far as we all did just to not have a place to stay and to be left literally out in the cold, we immediately informed VRBO and again they stated this was never canceled and offered a complete refund that as of today we are still waiting on and we were given 1 night in a very small and unkept hotel,AND we had to CHECK OUT ON THANKSGIVING not able to cook for our family for the holiday and enjoy what was suppose to be a very meaningful time for all of us and had to leave the very next day because of course with being the holiday we could not find anything available VRBO
