Historic Log Cabin home on Main Street

Cozy Historic Log Home on Main street 3 blocks from downtown Buffalo, quiet yet very short walk to downtown restaurants and bars,shops,etc. Large yard to relax in and enjoy a family BBQ, or just hang out. nicely decorated throughout and has everything you'll need for your stay, not your typical rental it is our home away from home and we've outfitted it the way that makes us comfortable , rental or not. If you don't know it already the Buffalo area is chuck full of old west history there are a multitude of historic sites to visit near by, there’s the Little Bighorn battlefield, Fort Kearney historic site or the Jim Gatchell museum, Occidental hotel and saloon built in 1880 with the likes of Buffalo Bill Cody and Theodore Roosevelt passing through it's doors at one time. the beautiful Johnson county courthouse built in 1884 still serves as it did when built. You'll see deer, wild turkeys wondering around town, geese, bald eagles, antelope and prairie dogs through out the area as well, of course the biggest attraction to the area is the Big Horn Mountains that offer fishing, hiking, hunting etc. We suggest doing some homework about the area and select the things that would interest you and your family ahead of time. The home was built by a Laramie county sheriff named Leslie Snow who served a role in the arrest and conviction of Tom Horn, a famous figure in western history. There is still t a "S" symbol built visible in front of the house the Snow family had built into the chimney. We call the house the Snow Cabin.

Guy was great at communicating with us and the house was great for our family and had lots of charm! The outdoor patio are was great and really peaceful! We would love to stay again!

This property is a wonderful place to stay when visiting the Buffalo, WY area. The host is ease to communicate with and responds quickly. The new outdoor patio area is a great addition especially in the summer with shade provided by the new garage. The interior is comfortable and uniquely decorated. Mule deer and wild turkey visited us daily.

Fabulous-Home away from Home

Very convenient, loved the decor, instructions were clear on the message board. Very handy having a washer and dryer. Would definitely stay again.

Great Cabin

Our stay was excellent. The house was clean, well equipped with everything we needed. Very comfortable and quiet. Walkable to downtown and easy access get to hiking trails, etc.

Great place for a stay in Buffalo

We appreciated the location, the western decor and the comfortable beds. We had everything we needed and enjoyed this historic cabin. Look for the fun Wyoming monopoly game in the sideboard! Would stay here again.

Happy Fishermen

Easy in, Easy out, plenty of room for two trucks and a boat. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. A wonderful, restful retreat from a day of fishing. Quite neighborhood.

My family and I had a lovely stay at this historic home in Buffalo, WY for almost a week. The kitchen and living areas are great. The bedrooms are comfortable. The bathrooms are older but more than adequate. We loved the decor. The communication was impeccable.

Buffalo log cabin

Ou stay was great, communication with Guy was great also. Lovely log home furnished all western theme. In Buffalo for our daughter's wedding so this was convenient. We would stay here again.

Fantastic Stay!!

We were able to check in early to enjoy our stay. Guy was very responsive and courteous. The house was clean, charming, and accommodated our needs. House was centrally located and was close to all that Buffalo had to offer. Thank you for hosting our stay in Buffalo!
