When you contacted us to report the issue, we took your concern seriously and worked with our team to determine the best way to address the odor. We offered to arrange an ozone treatment for the home, which our team confirmed would require the home to be vacant for approximately 3–4 hours. We understand that you and your husband did not want to take time away from your vacation for the treatment, and we respected your decision not to proceed. We also reviewed the concern with our team, who had been at the property prior to your arrival and did not notice a smoke odor at that time. Nevertheless, we understand that your experience was different, and we apologize for the inconvenience. Regarding your request for a partial refund, our team reviewed the circumstances and, after considering the available information and the resolution offered during your stay, determined that a refund could not be provided. We understand this was not the outcome you were hoping for, and we’re sorry we were unable to reach a resolution that met your expectations. We’re also sorry to hear about the mosquito concern and the electrical issue you experienced toward the end of your stay. We understand how frustrating it can be when an issue arises. Had we been made aware of the electrical issue during your stay, we would have been happy to assist and coordinate with our team to help resolve it.
