Daniel and his guests were fantastic guests, easy going and amenable, kept the house in great condition and I would love for the to return to the Zenda Estate!

Hi, Todd, I’m very sorry to hear that you didn’t have an excellent experience while staying at Zenda Estate. It is always our intention to give every guest the best. I'd like to clarify a few points that you raised in your review. 1) There is an area that had dormant construction when you stayed, but it was in an area with no effect on where you stayed and there was no construction activity while you were there. Also, we told you about the dormant construction in advance and you responded that you were fine with it. To be clear, there was no construction that occurred while you were there, and we would never do construction during a guest stay. 2)The man you referenced is our full-time property manager, Mike, who lives on the next lot over. He has his own entrance gate and is separated by several acres from the lodging area and barn. Typically you wouldn’t even notice him, except that in your case you brought two large dogs and he helped you several times to make sure that the gates would keep your dogs secure. Of course, we are happy to share the entire two lots with you and your dogs, and our property manager is there to ensure that our guests have every need met ASAP. He does not interact with guests unless his assistance is needed. 3)Regarding the contractors, there was an exceptionally heavy rain one day, and we reached out and asked if it would be ok if we had someone check a tarp. You responded graciously that it was fine. As you know, it does not rain very often in the desert and we wanted to double check the tarp. We never imagined it would bother you as your response indicated that it wouldn't be a problem. We are sorry to hear that this turned out to be an issue for you. 4)The Zenda Estate has ~8 acres of grass and it gets mowed once a week. Typically, it’s done on two weekdays at a reasonable hour so as to minimize disruption to guests. Your stay in the middle of the week occurred on a day when the mower was scheduled. Most of the mowing was acres away from the house, but we are sorry the mowing bothered your stay. We truly wish you had let us know, so we could have asked the gardener to come back another day. We always accommodate our guests wishes and certainly will be mindful of discussing the mowing schedule with guests moving forward. Thank you again for staying with us, and we hope that if you come again that you will let us know quickly if anything is not to your satisfaction so we can remedy the situation as soon as possible.
