Listen to the waves crash, watch the whales breach, and soak in the ocean air in this completely upgraded and remodeled 1 bedroom, 1 bath ocean view villa. The villa is perfectly situated between Oneloa Bay Beach to the north and Kapalua Bay Beach to the south, within minutes walking distance to some of the best beaches on Maui. The condo features custom cabinetry, warm travertine stone flooring, elegant granite counters and luxurious furnishings throughout. It also features a fully equipped kitchen, stainless steel appliances, huge walk-in shower with dual shower heads, high definition LCD TVs, stereo system and high speed wireless internet. There is a new mattress in the bedroom, a sleeper sofa bed, air conditioning and a washer and dryer. The 16 acre property includes sparkling swimming pools, gas BBQ grills, cabanas, outdoor showers and restrooms, and 2 tennis courts. Kapalua Bay Villas is adjacent to the Montage Resort and Spa and minutes from world class golf, restaurants, the coastal trail and more! Parking is free. No resort fees.

NO SMOKING IN CONDO OR LANAIS. The state of Hawaii has a strict no smoking ordinance. Smoking allowed only in designated areas. Fines and extra cleaning are enforced.

Overall wonderful stay with a beautiful view

Incredible view from the giant bay windows where we were able to whale watch. Huge bathroom. Well equipped kitchen. Very comfortable bed and well-decorated accommodations. Our only warning would be that if you have a serious fear of bugs and critters, choose a room that’s on a higher floor. We did have 5 cockroaches visit over our 3 day stay (and one small frog!)

Favorite stay in Maui

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Kapalua Bay Villas 32G4! Love the location in Kapalua and the unit was freshly updated with stylish modern polynesian decor, warm wood tones/accents and very clean. Also really spacious for a 1 bedroom, well stocked kitchen with really nice cookware, cooking utensils, appliances, etc. Towels and bedding were also great quality. We ate every meal on the terrace and loved having our morning coffee at sunrise. Oneloa Beach was a short walk away, where we nearly had the beach to ourselves besides a handful of surfers that we enjoyed watching every afternoon. Thanks for the Tommy Bahama beach chairs. Enjoyed my daily morning run and on walking paths/hiking trail and the yoga mat in the unit was an added bonus. Having the walk-out terrace was very convenient and expanded the space of the unit with the bonus of hearing and seeing the ocean. Kapalua Bay is also a pleasant walk away and we enjoyed a daily swim and watched the sunset on the lawn there every evening. The area was quiet, peaceful and relaxing compared to Kanapali and other busier areas in Maui. Enjoyed the lower density of villas vs large concrete complexes and hotels. The grills at the pool areas are well maintained and clean and not crowded, thanks to several smaller pools all close by. It was really difficult to leave as we felt very at home there. We would love to return to this rental and get a refill of aloha!

Exceptional Unit

This was our 4th stay at the Bay Villas and the best unit we've stayed in thus far. As former VRBO owners, we know what a great looks like and this unit exceeded it. Although we supported all the local restaurants, the kitchen was extremely well stocked with china, glassware, utensils, etc... Having an ice/water dispenser was a bonus. The bamboo blackout blinds were very nice. Being a patio level unit, access to the coastal trail was very quick and convenient.

Not what I expected - a disappointment

The unit was not cleaned prior to our arrival. There were dried up worms on the floor and the floors were dirty. Ants were in the kitchen sink, on the kitchen countertop and all throughout the kitchen and living area. The kitchen table had a thick layer of dust on it. Of all the VRBO homes that I have stayed in this was the worst one. I must give credit to the owner because the way it was decorated and the size of it for a one bedroom was ideal.

R&R in West Maui

Secluded and upscale condo resort. The unit is spotless. Love the attention to details! There were a lava water bottle and two bags of chips. We took the glass water bottle back home to Houston! The gate code keeps an extra security layer. The condo is very spacious especially for a one-bedroom unit. We love the ocean view and back patio. Napili Bay is a short 5-10 minutes walk. No waves, perfect spot for young children and snorkeling. I wish we spent more time at Napili Bay.

Kapalua hideaway

Great property, exactly as advertised. The Bay Villas offer everything a family needs for a great Hawaiian holiday. We prefer this location over many others in Maui because of the quieter more private feeling it provides. The unit is great and a good size for a family of 3 or four. Nicely updated with great decor. We plan to return.

GREAT PROPERTY BUT MANAGEMENT COMPANY LACKING ALOHA SPIRIT

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I emailed the management company about 9 days before our scheduled check in date to ask if they could please email me the information on parking and accessing the property, etc as we were flying the next day to Maui and staying at a different resort the first part of our trip, and I wanted to print the information and have it before we got on the plane. The management company sent me a terse return email, refusing to send me the information as they said it would be sent automatically to me exactly 7 days before I would check in, and no earlier.When they did email the information exactly 7 days before my check in, they noted that they had cameras(they did not say where, hopefully not inside the unit) and automation and if I attempted to put in the access code at any time before exactly 4 pm they would be notified and the appropriate authorities would be notified, and on check out day if I did not leave the premises by 10 am the doors would automatically lock and I would be charged an additional fee. They sent me similar emails the day before my scheduled check in date, and during my stay, about their draconian check in and check out policies, and the consequences if I attempted to check in early or check out late.I understand the importance on people not checking in early, or late, but this company and their "welcoming email" was rude and unnecessarily threatening and made me feel like a prisoner about to check into some sort of jail.The actual property was extremely nice, clean, and very enjoyable, but the emails from the management company almost ruined a great vacation.

Excellent spot for West Maui

Beautiful setting in a higher-end condominum complex on the shore. 5 minute access to two adjacent beaches, with a stunning lava peninsula in between. Very quiet. The condo itself was spacious and comfortable. Kitchen was well-stocked and everything worked. Managers were excellent - great communication and very responsive whenever questions and minor issues came up.
