Perfect condo, perfect location

We come to Kapalua a lot and have experiences staying in many different condos. This is one of the best we have stayed in. The proximity to the pool (the best pool in the complex), ocean view from both upstairs and downstairs, and amenities provided all make for a spectacular stay. We couldn’t be more grateful to Alan for this hospitality. Mahalos!

You won’t be disappointed! Wish we stayed longer!

If you are looking for a place that has it all, you have found it with this beautiful Kapalua condo. The photos don’t do it justice! It was perfect for myself, husband & two kids, 8 & 10. We loved being able to be within walking distance of 3 different beaches, the coastal trail & the bay golf course. Having all the chairs, umbrellas, boogey boards & snorkel gear made it so easy. Alan & his team added so many nice touches that were unexpected & made us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come stay again in the near future!

Fantastic Condo

Can't go wrong here. Beautiful views, great location, easy beach access, quiet. Condo is nicely and thoughtfully stocked. Great communication. Stay here for a turnkey, relaxing and enjoyable visit.

Lovely stay!

Spectacular Views, Excellent Rental

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The location was great, the views spectacular, and the rental was very clean and well maintained. It’s true to the photos and Alan goes above and beyond to communicate and make the experience exceptional. We will absolutely stay there again when we return and highly recommend this property.

Relaxing Stay

Our stay at this Kapalua Bay Villa property was wonderful. Host and property manager were extremely responsive. The unit is well cared for and stocked with everything one needs. We especially enjoyed the location with the tremendous views and hanging out on the lanai. Highly recommend.

Great place for vacation with privacy.

Good place for anybody who likes swimming in the pool or sea. Great possibility for hiking (Kapalua trails). Kitchen fully equipped for cooking. Coffee machine and espresso - great taste. Really nice seaview.

Spectacular views of the ocean

Excellent location! This home has everything you need in the bathrooms, kitchen and for cooking. The home was meticulously cleaned and very spacious. Alan was extremely responsive and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again in the future!

Great condo in an amazing location!

We stayed at this condo for two weeks and didn’t want to leave!! The condo itself was clean, well equipped and had phenomenal ocean views. The owner was very responsive and helpful from booking through our arrival and stay. You can quickly walk out to the cliffs or down to a beautiful and uncrowded beach. The property itself it gorgeous and very well maintained. Everything about this condo, and location, was fantastic! We highly recommend it and hope to return soon!

Favorite place on Maui

Kapalua Bay Villas are the perfect location. Access to beach trail, amazing views. Saw many whales just sitting on the back porch. This unit has everything you need. If you’re particular about your soap and hair products bring your own. Alan and Russel were great to work with and very accommodating. Hope to return to this special place!

A wonderful location, a pristine property, and what a view!

I cannot say enough great things about Alan's property. From the moment we arrived, we were mesmirized by the view from both floors. The area is very relaxing, and you are steps away from a great little trail. The beach is a short walk, and the Kapalua shuttle service makes getting around a breeze! Everything at the unit is top notch, and all the ameneties were wonderful - I look forward to coming back! Thanks Alan and Russel!!

Best Vacation Rental!

Overall a great place to stay in Kapalua - killer views from the bedroom! We stayed for 10 days at this vacation rental in August and loved our stay! Pros - (+) Killer views from the house (+) Modern furnitures, TV, kitchen appliances and bath that made us feel at home. (+) Quiet - We hardly met people during our morning walks and the crowd was significantly lesser compared to Kaanapali during our sunset walks. (+) Secluded beach nearby (+) Along the Kapalua Coastal trail We already miss staying here and can't wait to come back to this place soon!

Second stay at this amazing condo!

We had such a wonderful experience with our 2020 stay at this lovely condo that we looked no further when planning our recent vacation to celebrate our anniversary. We especially appreciated Alan's responsive communication and attention to detail. Russell greeted us at the condo and encouraged us to reach out with any problems or questions during our stay. We love the peaceful location and spectacular oceanfront views, just steps from the Kapalua Coastal Trail (which we walked every day!) and several beaches. Listening to the waves crashing into the rocks was so relaxing, especially on the lanai with a cup of coffee or glass of wine! We echo other reviewers comments on thoughtful amenities and well-appointed kitchen. This condo has it all! We cannot wait to return to Maui and would definitely book Alan's condo again. Paradise! Mahalo!

Highly Recommend

This was a fantastic place, in a fantastic location, with fantastic hosts and amenities. The property location is ideal - quiet and yet very short walks from multiple idyllic beaches, and even a few restaurants. The condo is updated, clean, and comfortable with quality appliances, electronics, and other details. The owner (Alan) and property manager (Russ) were both highly communicative, thoughtful, and responsive. Alan set up the hide-a-bed for our children before prior to our arrival (as well as a gaming system!) Russ helped us by walking us through the condo and all its amenities, and later by printing event tickets we'd forgotten to take care of ahead of our trip, and delivering them to the condo for us. There were generous allotments of coffee, treats, toiletries, and basics like paper towels that allowed us to focus on relaxing upon arrival, rather than running out to the store. Similarly, having quality snorkel and boogie board gear available upon arrival bought us more time to enjoy our vacation. We can't wait to return!

Can't Miss Here!

The unit is the best rental I have ever made through VRBO. Everything in the listing is 100% accurate. My wife and I travel differently than most people. We actually enjoy preparing our own meals, especially with a glass of wine at the grill, watching the sunset. The kitchen is truly "fully stocked." Most places have a couple of warped fry pans, incomplete sets of knives, dinnerware and plates and too few dish towels and cleaning supplies. Not here. Everything you need is in the kitchen and in excellent shape and working order. The unit is tastefully decorated, the bed is comfortable and the bedding is top quality. The views are extraordinary from the living area and bedroom. All your meals can be enjoyed from the lanai. I would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you, Alan. Matt and Denise

Perfect condo with an incredible view and amenities!

The property is beautiful! This private gated community is quiet and the grounds are covered with Hawai’i’s beautiful trees, plants and flowers which are all meticulously maintained. The condo is all we could have asked for and more! We were greeted promptly by the property manager Russell who showed us everything we needed to know about the condo. He was always professional, respectful and available when needed for any questions. The condo is incredibly clean, spacious and is stocked with pots, pans, dishes, glasses, toilet paper, body wash, hand soap, towels and paper towels, etc. Dishwasher, washer/dryer with pods are provided too! The lanai off of the living room has 4 beach chairs, a beach umbrella, 4 pairs of flippers, snorkel masks and a small cooler! The view of the ocean from the bedroom and living room is spectacular! The lanai off of the bedroom is private and has 2 lounge chairs. You are a 5 min drive to some great restaurants and the Honolua store where you can get everything you need including hot breakfast, lunch and dinner meals. There is a beautiful pool steps away with a grill. The Kapalua coastal trail is also steps away. Oneloa beach is a 5-7 min walk. It is picturesque, never crowded and perfect to just take the sun, swim, boogie board or surf. Water tends to be a little rough so snorkeling is not ideal. However, Kapalua Bay is a 12-15 min walk and another 5-10 min is Napili Bay which on the ideal days are excellent for snorkeling. DT Fleming beach is a 5 min drive as well. This beach is the closest to the Ritz Carlton. If you want a clean condo with amazing views and amenities in a great location then look no further! This condo is perfect.

Don't think twice - stay here! The pictures of the unit are accurate but do not fully capture the villas' surroundings, the grounds, the pool and straight on ocean view. It is an amazing property, extremely comfortable with easy trail access, beach access and walking distance to restaurants. What pushes this over the top? Alan the host and Jonathan who is in town to help with any needs. Alan is simply the best most attentive host we have interacted with on VRBO. If we ever get another opportunity to go back to Maui, no question where my wife and I will stay. Everything you need for a stay is in the unit and everything you need to relax is right outside your front door.

We’ve stayed at multiple Bay Villas over the last 20 years - this was by far the most disappointing experience. Upon arrival, the unit was extremely hot. The local rep said the A/C hadn’t been used in a month and told us it would cool down. After an hour, we reached out again. He brought two loud portable A/C units vented through the sliding door and upstairs window - blocking the ocean view, limiting outdoor access, and failing to cool the unit effectively.The A/C technician came the next day and confirmed the system was completely broken and not fixable. The host offered a larger inland home, but we had specifically booked and paid a premium for an oceanfront unit - location was a non-negotiable part of the experience.The bed was comfortable and the appliances (washer, dryer, fridge, dishwasher) were new, but the unit overall felt worn and in need of a refresh.We’ve submitted a refund request to VRBO. The lack of central A/C and poor resolution created unnecessary stress on what should have been a relaxing family trip. Renters should know this property had no functioning central A/C, and we would not return unless that issue is clearly resolved in advance.

25th Wedding Anniversary

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful Maui property! The condo was spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed—including beach chairs, snorkel gear, and other thoughtful touches that made our trip so easy and enjoyable. The location is peaceful and scenic, just a short walk to the beach and with convenient access to the stunning Coastal Trail. Alan and Russell were incredibly helpful and welcoming—truly exceptional hosts. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. We’re already looking forward to coming back!
