Very well equipped property. Wonderful view and very relaxing. House was very clean. Third time staying here, will stay again. Also very convenient to stores and restaurants.

The Lion on Sunset Lake is a beautiful home with great views of the lake and sunsets!The kitchen and pantry are well stocked with everything you need. We appreciated the host's communication and the extra touches that welcomed us. We hope to return again.

Amazing property! The best stocked kitchen we've had at a rental. They have everything you need and more. A wonderful relaxing place to enjoy with kids.

We had a very nice family vacation. Plenty of room for our six adults and two grandchildren. Nice access to the lake and boat and had a very nice fire down by the water at night. Easy in and easy out and Marcia was awesome to work with. The large screened in porch facing the lake is a nice touch.

Absolutely incredible stay. Exactly what the doctor ordered. House is so cute and tucked away with easy access to al the fun. Boat access a huge plus. Will be back for sure. Thank you!

Beautiful property with a host that goes above and beyond. Anything you could think you would need was available! The small touches (beach towels, flash lights, dishwasher pods, toiletries) were appreciated and helpful. The cottage was clean and the host checked in with us multiple times, which was great. The lake is 'no wake' which decreases the boat traffic and is wonderful for relaxing and swimming. If you are looking for a great cottage with a great location, look no-more!

Very peaceful, relaxing location. The cottage is very well equipped and stocked. We mostly enjoyed the screened porch and the great view.

A beautiful and very well-appointed cottage, nestled perfectly up in the trees but with a perfect lake view!The large screened in porch was our favorite spot, complete with a beverage cooler and plenty of seating.The primary suite is very spacious with an en suite bathroom and the other bedrooms were a very comfortable size.The owners have thought of absolutely everything and having fresh linens and towels was such a perk as well.A truly perfect lake retreat and we’re so grateful to the owners for sharing it with us! Highly recommend (at the risk of not being able to find an open week to rent again next year! :)

Fall Getaway

The views from the screened porch were outstanding. We enjoyed the many seating areas and the fire table and fire pit. The cabin was clean and very well stocked. We enjoyed all the amenities provided. Having so many restaurants within a 10 minute drive was also great.

The Cottage was beautiful, perfect location on Sunset Lake. Loved the screened in porch! The steps weren't too bad. My 80 year old parents were able to go up and down. We really enjoyed the game room - competitive ping pong games and the Karaoke machine was FUN! Cottage is well-stocked, you thought of Everything! Thank you so much for being "Pet Friendly" - it means the world to us and Hazel loved playing in the water. The Main bedroom, super comfy. And the couches/recliner was a big plus for Family. Kayaking was the BEST - and I was lucky to see a Red Fox near Loyola and 2 young deer playing in the water! Wonderful seating areas inside and out! Thank you for sharing your cottage!

A great cottage

This is a great place for a family vacation. The cottage is better stocked than any other rental I have been too. There is every type of kitchenware that you might need. The counter top ice maker is a plus for those days or nights when everyone needs ice on their beverage. The beds were very comfortable and nice linens were provided. The only drawback for me was the steps to the lake but I knew that ahead of time and the kids were up and down them with no problem. The screened porch is a great extra space. Unfortunately we were not able to use it much as our week had temps of 85-90 every day. Outdoors there is plenty of room to spread out with two different deck areas with comfy furniture.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and very accommodating! It had everything you could possible need for your stay, was extremely clean, kid friendly and beautiful views. We would love to stay here again in the future.

Spent the weekend here for girls weekend. Overall I would recommend this place, with the only complaints would be: the boat is an additional 300/day or 600/weekend, found several large “dust bunnies” throughout the house, spider webs, ants in the master bathroom coming out from behind toilet, deck & steps were full of pinecones, leaves, branches, & sticks, and the waterfront wasn’t a very clean/sandy area to swimGreat location, comfortable beds, excellent communication, fully stocked kitchen, and the screened in porch area was wonderful!
