Perfect family stay

Great property with a beautiful view on the lake. We have enjoyed our stay in the house very much with our family of 6 adults and 2 children

We had a great family getaway with adults and children between 8-12. The house was a perfect set up for kids to enjoy a sleepover environment in the attic. The basement master suite with the walkout to the deck was great for those sunrise. The kitchen was well appointed for all of our multiple meals.

Loved the Lake House!

The lake house was just as described and more. Lovely views and very comfortable. Location is close to shops etc, but also feels like a getaway! Perfect for a family gathering. Communication with the host was very good. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Our stay in early November meant we were not swimming or boating but we enjoyed the wonderful lake views from all levels of the property. The rooms were tastefully decorated, clean, comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and cosy spots to sit and eat or relax. Good kitchen set up. Welcoming host. All amenities appreciated.

Cottage living close to town

Our family enjoyed a wonderful extra-long June weekend at Cedar Hill Lakehouse. The location is ideal - terrific lake view with easy access to nearby Lakefield. The home is new, clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed the large deck and the dock is ideal for an end of day cocktail. Highly recommend.

Cedar Hill Lake House

We all enjoyed our stay at Cedar Hill its a very comfortable, clean cottage. The beds and bedding are very comfortable. Everyone fished off the dock and plenty of fishwere caught. It's close to all amenities. We visited the Peterbough zoo, and a beach close by. Everyone had a fabulous time.

Autumn Family Fun

Heather’s cottage was perfect for our family gathering. Every room was beautifully appointed and was supplied with everything we needed. We were lucky enough to end one of the nicer days with a bonfire overlooking the lake. What a relaxing, carefree week!

Ladies weekend

We had a wonderful weekend at Heather’s property. The cottage was clean and beautiful. It was fully equipped with all necessities. Attention to detail was fantastic The beds were sooo comfy ! Thank you Thank you Heather

The cottage and amenities were a 10/10. The hostess was very receptive. The only issue we had was with the steep icy driveway. I would return to this cottage but not in winter. The parking at the top at road level was not cleared wide enough for 2 cars. So we parked one. The steepness of the spacious driveway would not have been an issue except for the base layer being ice with snow on top.(it kept snowing) There was a bin with a sand/salt mixture that was very low on our arrival. There was a salt bucket but it was also very low upon arrival. The hostesses arranged delivery of more but it arrived after we had 2 cars winched out by towe trucks. It all worked out in the end but it put a damper on the whole experience.

Heather’s place is beautiful and well thought out. Lots of space for your cottage getaway with everything you could possibly need. We loved the water front. It was so nice to have the firepit by the water for the adults and the shallow sandy beach for the kiddies. Would definitely book again!!

A Thanksgiving Holiday

Our week at the lake house was most enjoyable. It was a perfect location for spending time with family and friends. The property was relaxing with beautiful views of Lake Chemong. We also enjoyed the nearby walking trail. Don & Bonnie

Wonderful cottage!

This is an excellent modern and cozy cottage to spend the wonderful time with my family and friends. Superior Lakeview located in a little bay with calm clean water. Very good place to catch some fish even on the dock. Very clean cottage and provided everything needed during the stay. Overall nice place to stay and a great experience! It is hard to leave and definitely we will come back next summer to stay longer to enjoy this place and the beautiful view.
