Peterborough is 30 minutes from the cottage and a great spot for concerts, galleries, and a night out. Bobcaygeon, also 30 minutes away, is known as the gateway to cottage country and offers boutique shopping, Bigley’s, Kawartha Dairy, and live music at the Lakeview Arts Barn. You can also visit Kawartha Settlers’ Village and watch boats pass through the historic Lock 32 on the Trent–Severn Waterway.
