Loved this place!!! Spacious House and Super Accommodating Host!

Even Better the Second Time Around! We Absolutely Love This Place!

We absolutely love this place! This was our second stay, and somehow it was even harder to leave this time. We already know this is somewhere we'll be coming back to for years to come. The best thing about this property is that you genuinely never run out of things to do. There's a pool, hot tub, pool table, movie theater, arcade games, a beautiful reading nook, fire pit, and even a small creek to explore. It's the kind of place where everyone can find their own thing to enjoy, whether you want to spend the day playing, relaxing, watching a movie, sitting by the fire, or simply enjoying the peaceful surroundings. And that's what makes it feel so special—it isn't just a place to stay. It's a place you actually want to spend time in. We found ourselves enjoying the house and property just as much as anything we could have gone out and done. Everything is thoughtfully put together, and you can tell the owners created this space with a lot of care. 10/10 recommend!

Spacious and Beautiful Home.

My family and I stayed in this beautiful home this pass Friday - Saturday. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was nice on inside bigg lots of room bedroom was nice.

A perfect place to relax while also being close to activities of Asheville. Kids loved coming back from hikes and swimming in the pool! House is spacious and great for multiple families. Wooded location is private and beautiful to be in.

We had a wonderful stay!

We had a wonderful stay, the house was great for 3 families with kids. We were able to enjoy the firepit and the basement for entertaining. The host was quick to respond and accommodate our needs.

We enjoyed our stay. A couple of minor things like this is an older home and it needs to be freshened with some paint and weeding in areas. The pool and hot tub were heavily used and all the mechanicals worked well. The game room with the vintage Pac-Man, etc. was a hit with the teens and even me. A higher wi-fi bandwidth would be great but as this is well out in the country, that may not be possible. I kept telling everyone we were on vacation and get off the Internet to relax. All-in-all, we would stay there again and the host was very communicative and professional.

Perfect spot for a large group—everything you need!

If you're looking for a place with a larger group, this is the perfect place. Just bring the food and drink and you don't really need to leave for anything self-contained and entertainment. Plenty of space and room to get around great amenities and not too far off of the interstate.

A Perfect Family Vacation!

The house was perfect for our family vacation. Everyone enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The kids loved the game room. We ventured out early in the day for hikes and then back to the house to relax. Overall a wonderful experience and I definitely recommend to other large groups.

Perfect Poolside Getaway! Loved the stay!!

We stayed by the pool all day and grilled when it got dark. The pool was perfect. There were deep ends as well and it big enough. The place was tucked between the trees and was quite. Loved the stay!!

I honestly don’t know where to begin, this very dated, very expensive property did not live up to our very low expectations. Right from the start, we were given the wrong door entry code and locked out of the hose for about 15 minutes. Most of the side yard was a construction zone with live fiber optic wire crossing the driveway twice. When we entered the house, we realized immediately, the pictures on the listing were far from accurate. There were deep scratches in the wooden steps both upstairs and down, scratches in every wall, mis-matched paint in most rooms, black mold in two of the bathroom, extremely rusted HVAC vents. There was a half finished outdoor fire pit in the yard with freshly poured concrete, an upside down wheelbarrow and wood planks strewn across the yard. The indoor fireplace did not work the first two days. Someone came out to fix it and it worked for one evening then did not work the next morning. No one came back out after repeated calls and messages. The pool was unkept with hundreds of leaves in it. I spent over an hour netting them out. The door leading outside to the pool deck, the door handle fell off when opening it. The theatre room looked nice with ripped and torn unframed pictures from the 80’s and did not connect to the WiFi, rendering that tv useless. Management called once in 4 days to discuss a partial refund and has not called back. The EV charger in the basement was 0.40/kwh when listing NEVER mentioned this. We are deeply upset.

Great house, great location!!!

Fantastic stay at this quaint property on the outskirts of Asheville. Amenities galore for little kids and big kids alike. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
