This is not a third-party-managed cabin. I'm Kristi, the owner, and we personally care for Smoky Waters Lodge with quarterly family stays to ensure everything is in top shape. You’ll feel the difference.

Wi-Fi via Starlink (fast, but may vary in storms)

Nearby Walmart, grocery stores, and The Appalachian restaurant (we highly recommend reservations!)

Minimum age to book: 25+

4.6+ star guest rating required

Signed rental agreement and liability waiver required within 24 hours

$120 cancellation fee for guest-initiated cancellations

No pets (severe allergies in our family)

No smoking, vaping, glitter, hair dye, or tape

Travel insurance is strongly recommended

Outdoor areas (decks, pavilion, stairs) can be slippery—use caution, especially with children.

This is bear country—lock vehicles and do not leave food or trash outside.

Internet may briefly go out during storms; we’re on Starlink, which is performing well in this location.

No furniture or pool table relocation, and no food in the pavilion fireplace.

This is a home, not a hotel—please treat it with care.
