Really nice house within short walking distance to a very nice beach on Lake Texoma. We launched inflatable kayaks into a safe, protected cove. Kids and even grandparents had fun.

The lake house was beautiful and inviting. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, providing everything we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Both the bedrooms and bathrooms were perfect for accommodating our group of five adults. The walk down to the beach was picturesque.Shari, our wonderful host, made sure our check-in was seamless and reassured us that she was always available if we needed anything during our stay. The Lighthouse Resort and Marina, conveniently located just down the street, offered easy access to boat rentals. We thoroughly enjoyed cruising on the sparkling waters of Lake Texoma for a few unforgettable hours; the scenery was truly breathtaking.This was a truly memorable and beautiful family getaway. We are already looking forward to returning next year!

The house had soft light when we entered. It was super cozy! The secret room is awesome and perfect for our 1-year old! The walk to the beach was amazing. We drove all around Texoma during our stay and this street was by far our favorite.

July 4th Family Celebration

Our family had the best time at this beautiful house! Plenty of room, including a great kitchen and comfy beds. We loved the close five minute walk to the beach/lake!

Love the beach

Who needs to go all the way to the coast when such a great beach is so close to Dallas area? The house was very comfy and nice. They had everything we needed to have a great stay.

Great for family

We took a few days over the Fourth of July to enjoy beautiful Lake Texoma. This is a wonderful home for a family get together. It is perfect if you bring your dog as the yard is fenced. Everything you need was available at the house.A lovely beach was a short walk down the street. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great stay

House was as advertised, host was easy to work with and answered questions quickly. Can't go wrong. A cool fact! If the "Light House Marina"( VERY, close to house ) has availability, you can reserve a boat slip for the duration of your stay. Makes life extremely simple and the house has a long dive way, easy to navigate a truck and boat.

Wonderful beach house perfect for family and friends

Very clean, and nice. Wonderful for the family and friends. We spent a long weekend here and were able to launch our boat from two different marina's just 5 minutes away. The beach is also a 5-10 minute walk and is all sand. We will absolutely be staying again. The owners were extremely kind and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great stay and were extremely responsive. This is a future vacation home moving forward for us.

Would not stay here again

Our stay in Pottsboro was not quite what we expected. It started off badly when we couldn’t get into the property because we were not sent the code. The excuse was that we had a pet fee that hadn’t been paid but my card on file was charged a security deposit that same day. I’m not quite sure why they didn’t charge the pet fee as well. The host was not very responsive and we were left waiting and calling VRBO customer service. The representative was also not helpful and needed to contact the host. So we were left waiting until the host could be contacted. Not the best way to start the trip. The house was comfortable but dirty. Lots of dead bugs and a vase of dead flowers in the master bedroom. Most of the pans in the kitchen were so old, damaged, and rusty that we couldn’t use them. The walk to the lake was quite treacherous and not easy. On a positive note, I will say the house was tastefully decorated. We have family in Pottsboro and it’s a shame that we did not have a great experience. Will not be staying at this property the next time we visit.

When we discovered the situation you mentioned with the door code, we jumped into action and got it sorted in no time, less than 20 minutes to be exact. We're pretty picky about our kitchen gear, and most of our pans are new. But your feedback prompted us to double-check, and we swapped out any that seemed a bit worn. Keeping things clean and making sure everyone has a great time is super important to us. To be candid, your feedback caught us off guard, especially since it's not what we're used to hearing from our other guests. But hey, we're all ears and grateful for the chance to keep getting better. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts!

Had a great time. House was more than accommodating for our 10 guests. The beach was a short walk through the neighborhood. Every neighbor we happened upon was friendly and said hello.

Our stay was a fun family gathering. The house was clean and as advertised. The weather didn’t cooperate, so we didn’t get to take advantage of the outdoors and surroundings, but it was still fun!
