Beautiful mountain top cabin!! My husband and I traveled from Ohio to hike the Smoky Mountains and this location did not disappoint. Super close to the park and a couple of cute, authentic stores without being in the hustle bustle of “city life”. If you are looking for a place to rest your head, slow down and maybe see a bear ( we were upset we only saw one! ) then this is THE SPOT!!

We spent 3 nights at this cabin last week, and it was fantastic. The house was the perfect size and had all the amenities we wanted, including the hot tub, old-school video games (Pac-Man, Galaga, etc.), and, of course, the view.We did have a small issue with the driveway one night, but other than that, the place was perfect, and we would love to stay there again. As an extra bonus, we did get to see a bear right off the balcony.

Super clean and the perfect size for us, our daughter, and our Frenchie, Rex. Rob and Tiffany are awesome hosts so nice, quick to reply, and kept us in the loop. We always stay in this hollow because it’s so peaceful.The WiFi handled my remote work effortlessly alongside all the phones, TVs, and the PS5. Comfy bed (huge plus!), and the kitchen had all the main essentials. We’d definitely stay here again!— The Weyants

We were looking for a quiet, peaceful place where could relax and this place was perfect. The neighborhood was quiet. The deck offered great views and it was just a short walk to sunset views. The cabin is away from the busier parts of town but there are some local places for food and drink.

The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. The mountain views were simply breathtaking—we spent hours enjoying the scenery from the porch and never got tired of looking at it. The peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect getaway.

What a wonderful cabin and very good experience! Booking and check in were very easy and the host communicated well. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. We felt so welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here and we would definitely come back.

Absolutely Perfect Cabin Stay! We stayed in Sevierville, TN from last Thursday through today, and this cabin was absolutely perfect! Everything was exactly as described, and the beds were SO comfortable. We slept in the loft while our friends had the master bedroom, and everyone slept great!The location could not have been better. We were right in the middle of everything we love to do—from downtown Sevierville to the main strip and all the attractions, restaurants, and shopping. It made getting everywhere so easy!The owners were wonderful, and their communication was impeccable from start to finish. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we hoped for.We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and would absolutely stay here again! Highly recommend this cabin if you’re visiting the Sevierville/Gatlinburg area!

The views from Closer to Heaven are amazing! Loved starting my day with a cup of coffee looking out to the mountains. The cabin was well stocked and had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the cozy feel of the place, especially the loft reading nook.

Cabin was as pictured and perfect mountain getaway. Great location to all area attractions. While driveway was a bit tricky - the cabin felt secluded even though surrounded by others. Enjoyed our time and relaxation.

We loved the quiet location-it felt very relaxing to be away from the traffic of the two larger towns of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge but still easy enough to travel to both. Also, any trip that we can bring our dogs to is always an added bonus for us. The cabin was just enough for our family of four and it felt very clean. The kitchen is tight and some of the kitchen supplies (pots and pans, small appliances etc) are cheap or well used so if you want to cook a lot or make elaborate dinners it might not be the best, but we cooked three nights of our 8 night stay and it was fine for our needs. We planned to grill two nights and the gas grill was missing the bottom due to a bear so we had to get charcoal for the park style grill-I notified the owner and they seemed aware of the issue. Overall we had a great time and this cabin served as a comfortable relaxing space between our adventures.
