This is a beautiful property and very comfortable. Nice furnishings, dishes, kitchen equipment. The only negative was the cleanliness. It needs a thorough cleaning and the hot tub needs to be drained and scrubbed.

The property had all the amenities we needed for our 3 boys (ages 10-18). We enjoyed the location and it’s close, but not too close proximity to the commercialized side of the Smokies. Overall we had a great stay!

Loved the pet-friendly rental. The seclusion of the cabin was exactly what I needed on this vacation. The dogs loved going into the woods to stretch their legs. Everything was so perfect that week flew by way to fast!!! Will definitely rent again in the future. Tara responded quickly with questions and they never showed up or bothered us at the property. The pet fee covered all my dogs ( to which I always leave rental cleaner then when I arrive) so that was awesome .

Beautiful mountain property! The home was clean, well maintained, and truly pet-friendly, which we really appreciated. The mountain setting was stunning and made for a relaxing stay. We would absolutely stay here again!

We couldn’t have loved this house more! It’s beautiful and they’ve thought of every detail to make it a smooth stay! I’m very pick about where I stay but this place was truly over the top. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay! We love the fact that we had such privacy, from where the cabin sit you’re unable to see any other homes. It’s very clean, very well equipped, it really just a beautiful home inside and out! I highly recommend this cabin! Close proximity to the Smokies, but far enough away from pigeon Forge to be away from the hustle and bustle of the area, but close enough to get to restaurants and grocery store! Really can’t wait to come back! Tara was very responsive and answered all questions promptly. Really do appreciate it!

The cabin was inviting, warm, and cozy… which was exactly what we wanted for the Christmas holiday. We enjoyed the peace and tranquility The Walden offered during this time of year. We are looking forward to more vacations in this area!

Tara is a true gem. The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful, and has all the amenities. The gated community is such a plus. We felt safe and secure our entire trip. Roads are very curvy and steep as you reach the cabin, so we were thankful for beautiful weather. The cleaning service is top notch. This is by far the cleanest VRBO residence we’ve stayed in. If you want a beautiful stay, great host, and fun for all ages, pick the Walden’s cabin getaway.

Property was well maintained and family, pet friendly if this is what you are looking for. Grill needed some attention, location was less scenic than we had hoped and the fire pit was further away from a usable space in our opinion. Overall a nice, comfortable stay.

Thank you for your feedback. The Sevier County fire department requires that the fire pit cannot be within 15 feet of the structure, which is why it is located where it is. We will have a look at the grill as well.

It looked and functioned as advertised. Great secluded spot with good views. Great for privacy and quiet times. Close enough to attractions to enjoy them but we chose it for the privacy and game room to keep kids entertained without having to go out too often. Clean and stocked with what we needed. Hot tub worked well. New Blackstone Grill worked well.
