Great place for a family to stay

Great stay, small bathroom needs some remodel work, and would recommend keeping the heaters on as it takes about 24 hours to heat up the house in the winter.

Kern River Getaway

We enjoyed a quiet weekend here at a home away from home. Clean, tidy, well kept. Perfect location near circle park to enjoy the local shops and cafes. The yard was well fenced for our small dog and we enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere in both the front and back yards.

Family Time

We needed a comfortable place to stay and host a gathering after a funeral for a family member. Great communication with the host and the home was beautiful. Highly rated.

Perfect for a family vacation

We had a great time in Kernville. The house was comfortable and we really enjoyed using the pool table, ping pong table, and hot tub. There were fires in the area that I was concerned about just prior to our check in date. The owner contacted people in the area to ensure all was safe and everything in the area remained open. I highly recommend this rental and I hope to visit again soon!

Multi Family Visit to Kern River Valley Area

This home worked well for our recent 2 family stay in Kernville. This home’s floor plan provides multiple private bedrooms while also providing large open spaces for multiple families to gather and visit during meal prep, TV and game time. It is located in a quiet community with easy walking distances to the river, shopping and dining.

Convenient location

This home was very convenient to anything and everything. Pictures posted were accurate and it was actually larger than expected. Our kids loved the game room and our dogs made use of the doggie door.

Cozy but spacious

When we first walked in, we thought it was cute and cozy but we turned into the kitchen then its a whole other living space. Its was spacious with a lots of entertainment. My family really enjoyed the pool, darts, and the hot tub. Easy to communicate with the owner; responded fast and was accomodated all our requests. My family loved it so much, they already want to book for next year!

Great house, great location!

A great vacation here once again! This was our second time staying here with our family (9 people). There was plenty of room for everyone and we had everything we needed. Paul was once again very accommodating and easy to communicate with. We loved being able to take short walks to the town and the river. I hope we can come back next year!

Kernville Gem

This house is spacious, comfortable and very clean. We brought family and everyone was very pleased with the accommodations. The kitchen, dining and family room are open, great room style, which was great for visiting and cooking and spending quality time together. The billiard table and jacuzzi were icing on the cake! We will be back!

Relaxing & cozy place to stay

My wife and I absolutely loved the house. It was very clean and lots of space and rooms. The location is perfect because it’s only a few blocks to walk into town and the neighbors were so friendly. After a long day we enjoyed gazing at the stars while relaxing in the jacuzzi. We will be back again soon to enjoy the Kernville atmosphere. Highly recommended house to stay. Beautiful spacious property

House is huge!! Has almost everything you need! We stayed over the thanksgiving week and had a wonderful time ! Hot tub was 😍!!! I didn't have a chance to use the bathtub but was fairly clean and looked very inviting. Back yard was big and had a nice size bbq and pretty lightning. Yard was fenced and will hold up against smaller dogs. My children had a blast in the game room ! TV, pingpong table darts and a full size pool table !!! Clean up list was very minimal and easy to accomplish! I highly recommend for families or groups and will most definitely rebook when I need to stay in Kernvile!!!

Great property close to everything in town

My family and I had such a wonderful time here. Paul was very accommodating and made the whole process easy. The house was in a great location, just a short walk to town and the river. After being outdoors all day it was nice to come home to this spacious house and play games. They even had a ping pong table, darts and jacuzzi. It was very spacious for 8 adults and two dogs. Plenty of room for everyone. Can’t wait to come back again, thansk Paul!

Awesome Kernville Home

This home was great for my family and I for a couple days of exploring the Kern River valley and the great town of Kernville. It’s walking distance to some cool antique shops, a must-see (and free!) museum, and restaurants (broken yolk cafe for breakfast was amazing). The house is spacious, comfortable, and cool (despite the 100 deg heat!) with a fun game room. We even saw a deer in the driveway! We’d definitely like to come back. *One note, when they say 4pm, that’s the soonest the “smart” door lock will let you in. We had an issue with the code not working at 4pm on the dot, and many attempts following, but luckily the hosts responded right away and remotely let us in. Great responsiveness on their part.

Great family getaway spot

Great family home. Safe for my toddler and had ammenities for her. We enjoyed the game room and all the space and home like commodities. Host was so nice to let us in a bit early since we had our toddler, 10/10 would stay again. Wish i lived there! Gorgeous home!
