We proudly offer The Hideaway Cabin as a one of kind stay. Our cabins are conveniently located off ITS 89N ATV/Snowmobile trail system, your gateway to the northern country of Aroostook County. This one of a kind lodge offers comfortable housing for up to 12 guests, 5 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, washer and dryer, fully furnished kitchen, cable, internet 6 twin and 3 full size beds. This cabin appeals to everyone. In the heart of Aroostook County, you will find unlimited hunting, fishing, and miles of endless trail systems. Whether you are looking for a nice place to relax or your next recreational outings, we will provide everything you need with an added personal touch you won't find anywhere else.

The cabin was clean, furniture was comfortable, all our needs were met, including wood for the fire pit, and an excellent supply of towels and linens. Plenty of parking for our 3 vehicles. Communication with our host was easy. My family and friend thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this listing.

Great place to stay

Great cabin in a quiet area. Large space for the whole family. While it’s out on the edge of town, caribou is just a few minutes drive away.

Great spot

House has plenty of room, kitchen is great and bedrooms are comfortable. Fantastic views and a great owner. Will definitely be staying here again!

The host was great and anything you needed was there to help. The cabin is amazing and snowmobile trail is right at the property. Plenty of parking for trucks and trailers. Will be back.

Excellent place for friends and family

Excellent place for friends and family. The grounds were kept excellent everything was clean and the snowmobile trail leads right to the house parking lot. Dealing with the host was easy. I would recommend staying here.

Moose hunting

We found the property to be a perfect fit for our moose hunting trip with family and some friends. Very nice accommodations, great kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, two bathrooms, and laundry. Great location.

Total Eclipse

Our family stayed here to see the Total Solar Eclipse. The cabin fit all of our needs with enough bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped with just about everything you need. Plenty of room for all of us. The view was spectular for watching ths eclipse it was incredible! Having family near by we will be back.

Outstanding!

We had a group of family members staying together to be able to hang out and attend a family reunion that was close by. It was so clean and spacious. We enjoyed being able to sit outside by the fire pit in the evening. I would definitely recommend these beautiful homes. The only thing that would it be a bit better would be shades & fans in the bedroom.

First Visit to Caribou

We were looking for great location to snowmobile out of Caribou and this property filled that bill. Groomed access trail to the system was well maintained. The cabin worked out very well. We had just 5 people but it can easily handle more. Very comfortable an well appointed, plenty of parking for big trailers, and great communication with the property manager. Thank you!

Outstanding property and host

We were two families of 4 visiting family in Caribou. So much space and comfort. Kitchen was extremely well appointed. Super clean. Tons of towels. Open concept living space. All one level so very accessible to all. Host was extremely accommodating and responsive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Holiday Rental

This was a perfect place to spend the holidays with family nearby. We had some bad weather and lost power for a brief period of time. The owners offered to put us up in a hotel for the night if the power didn't come back on, but fortunately we didn't have to do that. Once the power was restored the rest of the trip went very smoothly. The property is just as described, very spacious in the living room/dining area. Kitchen had all of the necessities. I would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

Another wonderful long weekend at the Up North Cabins. We stayed at the Hideaway. Perfect for our cousins family reunion. The cabin was clean and accommodating for the 8 of us. We couldn't have planned for better weather . Everyday was sunny and warm in the 70s and this was the end of September. We are planning for a return trip next year. Michelle was a great host and very helpful. Would recommend staying in these cabins.

We have been at this cabin 2 times plus this time under new management. We should of had someone stop over to see if we had any questions. WE expected the grab bars to be in both showers. Need a large mirror possibly mounted on a door . Hair is on the bottom shower drains. Need to have shads or blinds in windows.

Family Celebration

This was an ideal faculty for our trip to Caribou. The Cabin accommodated our family in providing a spacious environment for having family and friends gather in a relaxed atmosphere. Michelle was most welcoming and took care of all of our needs during our stay.. Thanks for making our family trip to the County a memorable one!!

Great property

Property is just as described and looks even better than the pictures! We stayed in the other cabin last summer and love both of them. Will definitely stay here again when we need a place to stay in Northern Maine
