Beautiful house and property! In a great location, close to Train ride in Honesdale, and Raymondskill Falls (which is also Beautiful!) The house was spotless when we got there and the communication with the Property owner was great! Would love to stay here again!

Perfect house for vacation

So clean, so homey, and had everything we could have needed for a family vacation.. especially with our 16 month old. We most definitely will be coming back next year!!

Great vacation getaway

Property is nice, close to lake wallenpaupack and other attractions. Saw deer in yard every morning and evening. Highly recommend staying here.

Perfect vacation headquarters

Had a great 4 nights at Boyd's property. Spent tons of time in the hot tub, playing ping pong, and tooling around the lake. Excellent communication from Boyd before and during the stay. Would visit again.

Great property with lots to do!

We were looking for a quick get away for my husbands birthday and couldn’t of found a better place. Great location with lots to do on property for all ages. Extremely well kept and great owners. Would highly recommend and use again!

Perfect lake rental

The property was clean, centrally located to restaurants and shops, and close to the lake. Boyd is an especially responsive host - kind and accommodating. We had a great time and would absolutely return again!

Great place to spent time

Great Family Trip!

My family had a great time staying here. Boyd was extremely easy to communicate with & he was very helpful in every way. We had everything we needed to relax & enjoy a little time away from home. The cabin was very clean & welcoming. I would definitely recommend a stay here! ~Denise

Paradise in the woods

This house was perfect for us, and really felt like home. It was extremely private with no neighbors in sight (unless you count a few horses!). It was spacious and comfortable, and fully stocked with every kitchen item you could ask for. The property really is beautiful, and a great central location to exploring the lake area.

Ski getaway

The property was beautiful and private. The house was clean and offered a lot of games for the kids as well as a hot tub for the adults. The rooms were a nice size. The kitchen was fully stocked with utensils and cookware. The owner was accessable if needed and was very pleasant. We couldn't ask for a better weekend getaway.

Home away from home

We can't say enough about this house. It was like we were at home but away from the everyday rush and noise.Perfect to sit there enjoying nature hiking, boating,laughing and eat ice cream. My whole family found great entertaining things to do games,toys,books,we didn't want to leave the house. Thanks Boyd and family. Excellent hosting!

Great

Very nice house, comfortable beds, lots of space! The jacuzzi and table tennis were our favourites. We were lucky with the weather, there was a lot of snow and it was warm, so we spent the whole day walking and sledding right next to the house. Almost tame deer and wild turkeys were regular guests. Definitely recommend both the house and the hospitable host who was always in touch with us.

Beautiful Home and Property

Our family had a wonderful time staying at this home. Everything we needed to have a laid back and peaceful vacation were at hand. The setting of the home is off the lake which made it very quiet and serene. The home itself was extremely clean and modern. Also, the beds were very comfortable. Mr. Boyd was always accessible and answered questions right away. I look forward to our next stay. The only downfall was that we couldn't stay longer.

Wonderful stay at a wonderful place!

House is located in a very quiet and beautiful area. It is very cozy and clean and features a nice outdoor hot tub and a deck on the other side with a table to enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner on the fresh air. House was very clean and had a lot of toys, high chair for our little children that came along as well as gates on the stairs to prevent any falls! We had a small group and have really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to rent again from that wonderful family their amazing and welcoming house. Thank you very much

Excellent for families with kids and teenagers.

This is a beautiful house perfect for families who want to spend time out of the city. This is a clean and organized house that has lots of activities to entertain your kids. I have seven kids who are from seventeen to two years old and they all had an amazing time. If you are one of those parents who don’t like your kids to eat out even when you are on vacation, this house has everything you need to prepare their meals. We highly recommend it and we’ll definitely come back.

Family friendly hideaway

We had a great trip! Property is so great for kids, with swings and lots of toys, and a sprinkler outside which the kids loved.We saw lots of deer, chipmunks, and other wildlife. Loved the Jacuzzi too! Everything is set up, easy to use, and the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you might need to cook. Only thing I wish is for a little space to store the supplies we brought of our own. Shelves were all quite full. The property itself is so nice and private, and there are lots of activities just a short drive away. Thanks for the memories!

Beautiful home on wooded property in convenient location

The home was very clean and well equipped. The towels, linens and kitchenware seemed fairly new. The bathrooms were spacious. We enjoyed seeing deer each day and one wild turkey! Having the bedrooms on 2 floors allowed more privacy. The smart TV and games were nice features. It was nice to have dishwasher and laundry. We were able to drive to the lake and several restaurants quickly. Ringside Fire Grill is a fun atmosphere! The owner was very responsive before and during our stay. We would love to stay again in the future.

Well-equipped family home

The host provided a well-equipped home, presumably occupied by himself, his wife, and their two children when not rented. The house, especially the bedrooms, were clean, although some rooms were a little cluttered because of the large number of toys and children's activities equipment. There is a full suite of kitchen appliances (but lacking a cutting board). It is convenient to the highway and we would stay there again.

Misleading

The house was very comfortable and the property was nice. It was very misleading that it was listed as 0.2 miles to the lake when there was no access except to drive to another location that was open 9a~5p. It was not listed as a private lake with very limited access to the lake.

I am sorry about the confusion between VRBO automatically listing my house as 0.2 miles from the lake (it is but there is no lake access there) and your family looking for direct lake access as part of your stay. As you mentioned, I did provide alternatives when you first asked about this after your stay had already started but I understand those may not have been up to your expectations. I'm sorry that I wasn't made aware of this prior to your stay as I have been very upfront with potential guests that have sent booking requests and asked about lake access. I feel that my property listing highlights privacy and seclusion in the woods so I will certainly ensure this aligns with future guests expectations in advance of their stay. Very Happy with our choice in property

We accidently picked the most perfect place. The cabin was more than we could have hoped for and just what we were looking for. Had everything you could think of and more. Owners were very thoughtful and even put up the baby gate for my 1 year old as well as a baby tub in the upstairs bathroom. Had a pack and play, a play yard as well as a high chair, i didnt have to pack almost anything for my little one. Lots of toys and games. The fire pit area was my favorite. My family all agreed we would love to stay again in the future. Thanks so much for the family memories.
