Truly Enjoyable Stay

The home is beautiful, well-appointed, comfortable, and spacious (...really, really spacious)! We were only there for the weekend, but I kept wishing we had a few more days to enjoy the lake and all the things to do. Good news: we rented it again next month, and we can't wait to return. Hopefully, this will be a home we return to many times in the future.

The location and property are fantastic. Unfortunately we had several issues with our stay. The most disappointing was the fact that it did not have an elevator as stated in the description. In addition it only had 2 king beds (3 were listed on the page) This has since been corrected but nevertheless it was extremely disappointing to my family that requires handicap accessibility. To be fair, the agency dropped off a golf cart so we could drive around to the basement floor, which was greatly appreciated, however it was not ideal and we would have not rented this house had we known. In addition the house was generally not well taken care off, several air vents in the middle of the floor were not secured, the bathrooms had moldy shower curtains and smelled, the refrigerator upstairs was frosted over and didn't keep things cold so we had to rely on the basement fridge which didn't have an ice maker. Although for the most part these were small inconveniences and I hope the rental agency has taken care of them, it was overall not a great vacation compared to other houses we've rented in the area.

Beautiful lake property that is perfect for a gathering with a large age range. Clean, with an open gathering space for everyone to enjoy. We loved watching the World Cup soccer games in the evening together. My biggest suggestion involves the dock. Many times people had their feet pinched between the wood slates on the dock and the bridge leading to it. It also felt quite wobbly. Also, one of the rooms is in dire need of a replacement mattress. I would definitely recommend.

Beautiful home in a great location! We had a great time with our family. The home was clean, cool, comfortable, easy drive into Seneca and Clemson. Just an FYI, there is a Keurig coffee pot if you want to buy coffee ahead of time. A couple of suggestions to the property management company: would be a welcome addition if the home at least had salt and pepper (pepper shaker was empty). Also, most of the kayaks have slow leaks and fill up with water, which makes them slowly sink… we found the single-rider green one was the only one that didn’t do this, so just be cautious if you venture out too far in one of the boats that leak. Enjoyed our stay— we would come again!

Labor Day Getaway

Property was perfect for our family of 5. We have 3 boys, so the pool table was a bonus! Beautiful view and location is perfect for visiting our son at Clemson. We hope to return!
