Consider this house your home away from home while you visit Lake Keowee. This gorgeous property (built in 2021 with renovations in 2025) features 6 bedrooms (one is enclosed bonus room), including 2 king beds, 2 queen beds, and 9 twin beds. Home boasts a huge walkout basement (with all kinds of fun things to do) perfect for teens, full laundry room, a vast main floor covered porch overlooking the lake, and a cozy fireplace. Property includes kayaks, canoes, SUPs, and covered outdoor living space. Enjoy swimming and fishing off the dock in our clear, deep water. We work often from this house, and have 600MB internet throughout. The peaceful atmosphere of this house makes it the perfect retreat for families or groups looking to relax and enjoy their time together. Lastly, we have a well stocked kitchen and plenty of games/puzzles for all ages to enjoy. Max 14 guests. Dogs welcome (add'l fee).

We have been short term hosts on Lake Keowee since 2012, five star across the board in both of our previous listings.

We had a great stay! We rented this house for a Clemson football game and it was the perfect fit! Very clean, easy to access, and lots of beds for a large group!

This house is amazing!!! Perfect for our weekend getaway and easy access for the Clemson game. House is immaculate and in a great location. We will definitely stay here again. The host is wonderful as well.

The host is absolutely AMAZING! We needed a little bit later of a checkout and she was easy to reach and allowed us to stay a bit longer. The house is awesome and the views are stunning. We had a wonderful stay!

The pet-friendly house was clean, beds were comfortable, great game room, and met our expectations. The host provided many extras like spices, toilet paper, etc. The property was very nice with a lake view and a fabulous porch. The dock was also nice and provided a good launching point for swimming and kayaks however the host did have their own boat there which made it a little difficult to also dock our boat. The kayaks were fun but 2 of 4 are geared for people less than 150 lbs which eliminated most of our adult and teens.Overall the house worked out well for our multi-generational family of 12.

For future guests, the dock and boat slip are pictured accurately in our listing, including our boat being stored in its designated slip. We also provide complimentary kayaks for guest use, which many lakefront rentals do not offer. The available kayaks vary in size and are intended to accommodate different users, and we encourage guests to review the listing photos and amenities prior to arrival to ensure the property is a good fit for their group's needs. We're pleased the home worked well for your multi-generational family of 12 and appreciate you choosing to stay with us.

We had an amazing time at The Canoe House! Our group of eleven, ranging from 18 to 78, was thrilled with the house and everything it offered, which was even better than the photos suggested. Mary was fantastic with communication, always quick to respond and accommodating when we requested a later check-out on our last day. The covered dock was a highlight, perfect for fishing and swimming, and we loved using the paddle boards, kayaks, and water lily pad. The short, easy walk to the dock was a plus, and the peaceful cove provided beautiful lake views. One of our favorite spots was the outdoor covered back porch, ideal for enjoying coffee and meals. The house had plenty of bedrooms and newly updated bathrooms, along with ample seating in the kitchen and dining area, including extra bar stools and benches for our large group. The kitchen was well-equipped with pots, pans, and all the essentials. We also had a blast in the downstairs rec room, playing ping pong, basketball, and shuffleboard, and winding down with movies at night. We highly recommend this rental and can't wait to return. Thanks for sharing your beautiful lake home!

Beautiful property with amazing views. The game room was a huge hit, as was the oversized covered deck which overlooked the lake and was equipped with a TV (perfect place to watch football).

Very nice place. Plenty of space for everyone to sleep. The next door neighbor was not the nicest but besides that, everything was great!

Great Place on the lake!

Great place

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Plenty of room lots to do. The kayaks and ping pong were great ! The lake is clean and we loved swimming in it with our dogs !

Beautiful Home

We had a wonderful stay. The home is fully renovated and was beautiful. It is situated right on the lake and we really loved being there. The owner was great at responding to us with any questions and was so helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Great for Clemson games

We stayed here 2 weekends in a row for Clemson games. It is a great house to stay in with kids & teens. The view out of the kitchen/sun room is a beautiful backdrop for your morning coffee.

Weekend trip

Group of friends stay here for our fantasy football draft weekend. Plenty of space for everyone to eat, play video games, chill and play cards and sleep. Great house overall.

Perfect Holiday Getaway!

We had an amazing time! This home was perfect in everyway. It was clean, well layout, plenty of linens and kitchen tools. The ping pong table was a great activity for our entire family! The lake was absolutely gorgeous and so peaceful! The host was friendly and easy to communicate with.

Great Location and Family Home

This property was located perfectly on Lake Keowee, it was quiet and scenic. We enjoyed staying on this side of the Lake as it was easy to travel to most of the Waterfall and Hiking destinations very quickly saving 15-20min if we stayed in other locations. The house was great, clean, and had everything we needed. There was great space for the kids to play and they really enjoyed the bunk room. Great stay and would recommend to others.

Great Lakehouse!

We enjoyed our stay! The lake is beautiful. The house was perfect for our needs. My husband and I took our elderly parents and teenaged boys for a last minute getaway. Everyone had plenty of room to spread out, and our parents were able to navigate the house with no problems. We had a great time.

Great Family Trip

We enjoyed our stay very much and our family made some great and fun memories. The cabin is beautiful and spacious, nicely decorated, with comfortable furniture and beds. Kitchen is well stocked. Bathrooms are nicely done. Owners were prompt and responsive to communicate with. Location was great, very peaceful place. We would highly recommend this rental.

Christmas Getaway

We had a great Christmas celebration on Lake Keowee! The house was large enough for our group of 7. Everything is modern, clean, and well laid out. The host was responsive, friendly, and helpful.

Great family house!

We gifted our adult children and their families with a Christmas in July vacation and selected this house for our family getaway. The house worked perfectly! Everyone had private space, along with shared spaces, like the kitchen and deck, that were perfect for all of us. We really enjoyed our stay at this well appointed house!

Lake escape weekend

The house is located off of a nice quiet part of the lake. It is spacious and great for hanging out with family and friends. Close enough to commute to Clemson if desired. Lower level that is perfect for playing games like ping pong. We had a relaxing weekend here!

We're a family of five from North Carolina. Lake Keowee has been our family's "happy place" since 2012. Time moves slower here, and there's no better place to relax and connect with family. We are midwesterners originally and cheer for Purdue (our alma matter), Clemson (of course), and now Chapel Hill!

Por qué eligió esta propiedad

This is in the best part of the lake, surrounded by other gorgeous newer homes and convenient to everything Seneca/Clemson have to offer. We have no HOA, so you don't have to jump through hoops or books of rules while trying to enjoy the lake. Our neighbors are kind, mostly permanent residents, and as long as you respect them and their spaces, you'll have a great time!

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our home vibe is "comfortable". You'll actually feel good here and won't feel on edge in our home. We also pay attention to detail; our home isn't full of leftover family furniture from decades ago (as are so many rentals). Almost everything is brand new as of 2024. We want you to feel up to date, relevant, and comfortable while on vacation. Our property is unique because it's not part of a neighborhood, (many of which have older permanent residents who frankly loathe renters and watch them like hawks). We respect our neighbors and expect guests to, too, but it's just a house on the lake when you're here, and it's ALL yours. We're ten minutes to the marina, ten minutes to ice cream/gas, and five minutes to the Lighthouse Restaurant. By car, we're just five minutes from a gas station, liquor store, and Dollar General, and just ten minutes to literally everything else. Clemson is a quick 20 minute drive door-to-door. Awesome hiking to 100' waterfalls is just fifteen minutes away!
