Clean, well stocked, great stay

Of the places we’ve rented in truckee, this was our favorite. Very clean, well stocked, comfortable beds. We will definitely try to book again.

Great for a family vacation

Beautiful house with plenty of amenities to make us feel like we were in our own home! Close to ski resorts and well maintained. Definitely looking forward to another stay in the near future!

Beautiful home in Tahoe Donner

We had everything we needed and more at this home in Tahoe Donner. Beautifully decorated, well stocked kitchen and fabulous 2 car garage (important this winter with feet upon feet of snow!). We hope to come back again.

Perfect!

Loved our time at this beautiful home. Honestly, they thought of everything! The kitchen was well stocked, amazing DVD Library and game cabinet, lots of extra pillows and blankets, great instruction manual to help troubleshoot. It was cozy and comfortable - thank you!

Clean, but just a note

House is very nice and clean. Only draw back and note to renters is that there is no bathroom door in the master bedroom, only a curtain. A little negative for us, but for some i'm sure it is just fine.

The house was spacious for a big group. Downstairs was great for teens. Very pretty neighborhood. I bet it’s great in the summer. A little far from northstar on ski days. With traffic, it took an hour.

Perfect for a family break, lots of space the family the basement was a hit with the everyone, great space and the pool table was a hit. The property was lovely and spacious. It very hot at night needs air conditioning with the summer or more fans and citronella plugs would be an asset. Couple of things out of the cupboards were not clean and the bathroom floor mats need to be renewed (or they were not washed for our arrival). Need to provide loo cleaner apart from those very small things the holiday was fabulous. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us.

Nice cabin

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This cabin is in a convenient location with easy access to the clubhouse amenities, pool, golf and town of Truckee. It was nicely decorated and accommodated our group of 5. We loved the game room with the pool table. Two downsides to the rental are that the cabin has no AC and unfortunately many of the windows are lacking screens so opening up the windows was not an option, unless you wanted a house full of bugs. The other big issue is that the master bedroom has no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom. The owner has simply hung a curtain to separate, so the bathroom has zero privacy. We really did not like that and would not rent the unit again due to these two issues.

Exceeded our expectations!

This lovely home in Tahoe Donner exceeded our expectations. What a lovely home. The owners are wonderful decorators. So many lovely touches, colors, decorations. And I appreciate all the ideas to bring home! This place had everything we could have wished for. It was so very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great great kitchen from all the kitchen supplies, long center island with many barstools for visiting and quick access to the lovely deck overlooking the street. The downstairs family room was so comfortable for a chill out tv watching experience. So many dvds to watch. All 3 bathrooms were updated. he oversized garage fit all our sports equipment. We enjoyed a really fun weekend in Tahoe including a long hike, bike from Tahoe City to just passed Incline Village, music in Tahoe City and walks in the area. I will request to stay again SOON! We reserved this place since it was close to a couple friends homes in the area, who joined us for a glass of wine before heading out for dinner. They all ooed and aahed at how lovely the place was. Luxury mountain home

We enjoyed a New Year’s break staying at the Tahoe area in this beautiful home. So lovely that I can’t wait to give a good review. Location - perfect for the Tahoe Donner Ski Resort, but also close to Northstar Resort about 20- 30 min away. On the day we didn’t go ski, we enjoyed watching the beautiful falling snow as the kids played outside making the snowman. House - Very clean. You can tell the house is well maintained. Highlights - Tall garage ceiling - we have a rooftop cargo box for our car. And the best part is that we could drive right into the garage without having to take off our cargo box. Very thoughtful design. Kitchen appliance - nice WOLF cooktop and oven, better than what I have at home! Dishwasher and fridge are high end as well. Shower- instant hot water and excellent pressure. Makes a hot shower after skiing super refreshing! Boot /glove warmer - so thoughtful, such a nice treat for all our skiers. Game room- well stocked with board games and video games. Pool table is super fun as well. This is a lovely home. We look forward to staying at this place when we get a chance to come back to Truckee/Tahoe again.

Good location and nice house

My family had a good time and was very comfortable in the house, plenty of space for family of 7. The kids liked the downstairs with the pool table and TV, which was nice to have the separate space. Location was good, close to everything. We did use the private beach, was a little costly but the had chairs and table to use. Communication with the owner/management was easy and quick. The entire process was clear and easy for the rental. The only suggestion is more TVs, there’s only 1 in the house. Washer needs to checked and clean as there was mold when we were there. It probably doesn’t get aired out. Overall it’s a good house and we would rent again.

The house a beautiful and clean house. Loved having the pool table where the kids could and adults

Property was nice and clean. Location of the house was so convenient. It was close to downtown Truckee where we could get groceries. It was close enough to ski resorts so we weren’t rushing to get there on the mornings. There was plenty of space for all of us to do what we wanted.

Great place

Great place. Modern yet comfortable and clean. Kids loved the game room and it was nice having a seperate living room upstairs for the adults to have our own space when we needed it. Everything was in perfect working condition.

Fantastic stay!

The property was well appointed and comfortable. We appreciated all the modern upgrades such as the large open kitchen with high end stainless appliances, the modern bathroom fixtures tile and vanities, and the nest thermostats were a nice touch and easy to use. The kids loved the den and all the games that were available to play. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Great place

This was intended as a family trip while I did a work trip but due to poor air quality in the area my family didn’t join me. They would have loved it. Great house and amenities.

The property was in a great location and accommodated our group well.

The coffee pot and cappuccino maker, as well as the coffee grinder all had mold growing. It took several hours to attempt to clean them. The BBQ was filthy and took 2 hours to burn off the accumulation. The dryer only worked on a couple of settings. We knew the ice maker and the water filter didn’t work after we received the rental agreement from your company. We enjoyed our stay and didn’t have to worry about a 2 year old damaging furniture since it was tired all ready. I do think it may be time for the owners to invest in some newer appliances.

Perfect Cabin for families with Kids

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin is nicely updated and very clean. The layout is ideal for multiple families and kids/teens love having their own space downstairs in the game room. This cabin has everything you need from kitchenware to toiletries. Only recommendations I would make is to have a hard copy posted on the property of what needs to be done at checkout and also what is available at the rec center for renters. It would also be nice to have a second TV. I still give the property 5 stars and will definitely look to rent this property again.

Birthday getaway

We have not taken a family trip for so many months since the pandemic. However, because our goal is to stay in while the kids continue distance learning and enjoy snow play, this house DELIVERED! The house is pretty much surrounded with powder-like snow right in the front and backyard. We set this up as a surprise for our son’s birthday and he was ecstatic. We all had so much fun. The house is clean ( I’m glad shoes are not allowed inside the house because it helps to keep the floor clean too), the kitchen is fully stocked even with cooking essentials ( olive oil, seasoning, coffee, sugar, cocoa..), pots, pans, cups, plates. They even have an espresso maker! ( I got intimidated to try it so I used the coffee maker instead). What I really appreciate in this cabin is the little things like those tiny shampoo and conditioner, generous TP supplies, thick towels, dish soap and hand soap... We just wish there was at least one more tv in the living room or the master’s bedroom or a bigger washer and dryer but they made it up with the game room. It’s definitely a home away from home.
