Cabin was very well stocked with essentials, had plenty of towels, pots/pans.The stairs to the 2 upper bedrooms aren’t Senior friendly, fine for kids. The parking is for 2 possibly 3 vehicles Max. The picnic area and firepit are definitely not usable! Yard overgrown. The beds were comfortable and the Hosts were absolutely Great. We would definitely stay again (maybe bring a weedeater with us )

The outside was not like the pictures online. The picnic table was unusable as it was overgrown with brush. Actually, the entire outside was overgrown and not well cared for including the parking space. We only used one of the beds and it was hard and uncomfortable.

We loved the secluded setting and location convenience to so many things like Yellowstone , Harriman State park & Henry’s Fork . The cabin was very clean inside and had all we needed in kitchen and comfortable beds . Unfortunately the fireplace was out of order , but the owner was quick to give us a refund due to that without us asking . The out side was in need of some upkeep . Maybe a good weed eater & there were some dead trees leaning on picnic table area . Fire pit area was a bit messed up unlike photos , yet still useable . It was a very rustic setting . For the most part we enjoyed our stay and the communication with host was very good ! We would go back especially for the location and cleanliness.

Island Park Getaway

This was a wonderful place to stay. Beautiful grounds, wonderful cabin. My wife and I enjoyed the location, easy access to all of out usual haunts.

The property is overgrown and could use some maintenance. The cabin was cozy and well supplied. The host placed covers on the leather couches which was great for our senior rescue dog. The place was quiet and close to food and recreation. We enjoyed our stay very much and would like to use it again in the future.

Property located in a swamp with an extremely noisy sump pump located under family room floor that made loud noise every 15 minutes for entire stay. Called property owner several times with no response whatsoever.

Very nice and comfortable. It is charming and fairly conveniently located if you are visiting Yellowstone.The parking is a wee bit confusing, but that's what you get if you want to be in the trees at back from the road. As a cabin, the plumbing is a bit sensitive. Not enough to take a star away, though. The owners are quick to respond.

We came out for a snowmobile trip. Cute, cozy cabin with easy access to the trail system. Quite location close to Yellowstones West entrance.

Perfect location and size

I was not disappointed with the seclusion of this cabin. The size was perfect for my little family celebrating the Christmas Holiday. Our host was very pompt at responding, the home had instructions labeled very well and check-out instructions were clear. We had everything thing we needed for a perfect Holiday getaway and plan on coming back very soon.

Cabin Getaway

Nice cabin to visit Yellowstone, a little away from the park and crowds. Able to still go and do all the things with the comforts of home and privacy and seclusion away from others. Very short distance from Harriman State park, horseback riding there was amazing. Some issues with mosquitos and wasps getting into the cabin.

Extremely comfortable for our large family gathering. Lots of space inside and out. Very well supplied for all our needs. We arrived a little early but were allowed access quickly when the owner knew we were there. Great instructions as to what we needed to do to stay comfortable . We would highly recommend this property.

Review of Le Maison

A very nice place to stay. When you think of Yellowstone you think of a log cabin and this property fits the bill. Very responsive host. Two mattresses upstairs need to be replaced for comfort sake. Addition of darkening shades on bedroom windows would be a plus. The controls for the heat are not located on the units but on the wall and not necessarily near the heater. Parking is abysmal especially in the rain and dark. Big ruts, lots of mud, difficult to walk in the dark and a very narrow drive. We had a large Chevy 4X4 that could not maneuver the drive and had to park in the entrance. Would I rent again, absolutely.

Cute but not without issues.

This was a very interesting experience. Good and Bad. 1. The driveway/ parking was a nightmare. We got stuck in the 3-4" mud SO many times! Then the walk to the door of the cabin was mostly 2-3 feet snow, a lawsuit waiting to happen. 6 older ladies had quite a teetering challenge to get to the door! 2. Everything inside was lovely and we enjoyed, except the couches were very sad looking. 3. According to a neighbor, the driveway and very deep mud is a continual problem anytime someone stays at this cabin., and as we left, we noticed one end of the driveway had not been plowed which would have helped. 4. When we contacted the management, Brittany informed us there was nothing she could do to help us. After begging for help, she ordered the tow truck, but we had managed to pull our stuck cars out, but there were some pretty mud covered older ladies! She did say she would send someone to clear the snow, but no one came. 5. No jetted tub as advertised. 6. If there is a patio under the snow, we wouldn't have known about it. 7. We thought the inside stairs were dangerous and needed more railing. If someone is unsteady in any way, it would not be very easy going up and down the stairs. 8. The decor and most amenities were beautiful! Nice kitchen and liked the two bathrooms downstairs. However, a bathroom is BADLY needed up stairs. This would be a lovely cabin to stay in if more care were given to the areas we mentioned but would not stay again.

Cabin has a lot of potential but also a lot of work is needed. Heat was difficult to control throughout the house, upstairs was quite musty, 2 TVs didn’t work, grounds were very over ground and not cared for — weeds had overgrown on the back steps and 2 picnic tables, tree had fallen on one picnic table. We cancelled our reservation the first night we were there.
