This beautiful, one-story home is located on a private cul-de-sac in Lick Creek cove on prestigious Lake Oconee. Just minutes from a public boat ramp right off of Hwy 44, four miles from The Ritz Carlton and one mile from Cuscowilla. Arrive from Atlanta or Athens in just over one hour or from Augusta in one and one-half hours and you are sure to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The house is surrounded by large oak trees and is separated from the quiet street by a soccer-field-sized front yard. Large trees line the lake front where you can hang your hammock and enjoy the relaxing breeze off of the lake. The backyard is flat and fenced in which keeps supervised children and pets away from the lake when adults are not hear by. There is a max dock which is great for fishing and swimming. A double garage keeps your car out of the sun. This home is immaculate with an upgraded granite kitchen and a fresh coat of paint. Beautiful house right on the lake. Having the fence in the back for our dog was great. The house was perfect and well stocked with the things we needed. It rained most of our stay but we were still able to enjoy our vacation. The host was very responsive and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again!

We had such a lovely time. The house was immaculate, welcoming, stocked with all essentials. Stinning views of the lake abd easy access tp their private dock. Communication with the host was seamless. For us the fenced in backyard was perfect for our dogs. Highly recommend and we will be back! 10/10

The absolute best location and property, especially if traveling with pets. Huge fully-fenced backyard. The master bedroom has a very comfortable bed. My daughter loved the bunk bed. It’s a great location: less than a half hour to Madison (beautiful historic town) and only about 10 minutes from everything you’d need in Eatonton or nearby Greensboro (like Publix, CVS, urgent care, boat rentals, the Ritz Carlton and restaurants). The host is very kind and communicative. It’s definitely a place where you could stay for a month and want for nothing. It was a very comfortable stay and there’s just nothing that compares to starting and ending your day with the beautiful serenity of being right on the water, especially watching your 4-legged family members gaze at the view.We are already discussing our return trip. We will be repeat guests for sure!

Everything was great! It was a wonderful stay! The house has a great and relaxing view and is very central to everything in Lake Oconee and nearby Eatonton. Love that the back yard is fenced in if someone were to have children staying. House is very nice and clean as well. Also is in a good quiet neighborhood. 10/10

Great stay on the lake

We had a wonderful stay. Perfect quiet spot for some fishing right out the back door. Fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. House is very well stocked with everything you need and more. Host was lovely to deal with.

Great spot on Lake Oconee

We had a great week here on lake oconee. We loved the sunrise cove for kayaking and fishing. great dock to fish from and sit out, a great yard to let the dog run free and great fire pit. The owners couldn’t have been more responsive to our needs during our stay.

Birthday fishing trip

We loved the location, on the water, very quiet and one level. The home was very well appointed with everything you could possibly want. It felt like home. Love the porch and the backyard with the fence so the dog could enjoy the outside. We would definitely go back to Lake Oconee! We went fishing with a tour guide came right to our dock and picked us up. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home.

Lakeside peaceful

Enjoyed this peaceful lake property. The dock, fire pit and view are all wonderful. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. The home and deck need some work/updating but overall a good place to spend Thanksgiving with our Georgia family. Location is great. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Fun Lakation!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property which is nestled nicely in a quaint cove. The house is very clean with comfy beds. Easy access to the boat dock and our dogs loved the backyard. The outside needs some attention but didn’t deter us from being outdoors. We’d be happy to stay here again.

Wonderful weekend at the lake!

Joni's home is absolutely lovely. It's situated in a perfect little cove on Lake Oconee. Our pup loved the fenced in yard - there were even dog bowls provided in the dining area. The large kitchen was great to make our meals and the kids loved everything from the bunk beds to swimming right off the boat dock. Would love to return soon!

Our family had a wonderful time. House was very nice and the dock was perfect for our poontune boat.

We rented the house for our yearly Family vacation with our daughters and grandchild, we had a wonderful time. Dock was perfect for our poontune boat to dock and for swimming. House was very spacious and comfortable. Owners were very nice and helpful. Thanks Joni.

Family Lake Weekend

The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood on a nice spot on the lake. We enjoyed time on the dock swimming as well as kayaking and boating in the lake. We had everything we needed. Check in and Check out was simple. The host was great at communicating and answering my questions.

Very nice house in quiet neighborhood

My husband and I met our two married children and their spouses here for a week.We had such a good time. Spending most of the days on the water, then grilling at night and playing games. It was the perfect vacation. The girls had a spa day at the Ritz, and the guys played golf. The spa was great!

Lake Oconee fun!

We enjoyed our stay recently at Loch Way on beautiful Lake Oconee. The house was on a quiet culdesac right on the lake. The backyard is fenced and pet friendly. There is a great dock and fire pit for fun times The house is comfortable and fully equipped. We appreciated the manager’s prompt response to all of our questions and great recommendations for restaurants and boat rentals. We would recommend this rental for a fun family gathering. Gail M.

My husband grew up in Nebraska and spent his weekends in a cabin on Lake Jeffrey. His best childhood memories are of those times with family on the water. I grew up in Minnesota, the Land of 10,000 Lakes. We married and moved to San Diego, but I missed the lakes and trees and the ocean just did not have the character that lakes offered. We moved to Georgia in 1992. We love the southern hospitality and the BBQ. The heat and humidity, well not as much. After we had three boys, we knew we wanted to have a place to escape to on the weekends and to build life-long memories. We love spending time together on the lake. The boys are avid surfers, boarders, skiers, you name it. They also love to fish and hunt. I love the quietness of the neighborhood and the cove. It is never crowded with boats. I love to sit by the water and read or do crafts on the back deck. Please visit our home and let us know what you think.

With three young boys and a boat stored up at Lake Lanier, we had a frightening moment when our youngest of 15 months was nearly thrown overboard, right out of my arms, by a large house boat and speed boat creating havoc in the water. It was at that point I told my husband I would never take the children back to Lake Lanier. The traffic was frightening and the lack of restrictions on boats and boating made it difficult for families to enjoy. We researched Lake Oconee and absolutely fell in love with it the first time we visited. The lake is beautiful. The shoreline is beautiful. The homes are nestled in neighborhoods along the water or on golf courses. Whether you are a water enthusiast, fisherman, hunter, golfer, bookworm or craft enthusiast, there is something there for everyone. Great dining and shopping and a great movie theatre for those rainy days.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Our cove is unique in that it is a "wind-protected" cove. Most days the main lake is very choppy and difficult to boat on. Our cove, on the other hand, is calm. It is not a main thoroughfare from the main lake to the marina. It is a perfect place for beginning skiers or wake boarders. It is quiet. No traffic noise. Stargazing is great at night. Our neighborhood is small and we have great neighbors. We have 150' of shoreline. When the days are too hot or rainy, enjoy time indoors playing games, assembling puzzles or watching movies.
