The Tow Path house is a 2 bedroom 1 & 1/2 Bathroom, On The Delaware and Raritan Canal state park tow path, only a few block walk to Main Street Lambertville. You can enjoy the front porch swing bench and watch the people and ducks on the canal or the private fenced in back yard with an out door dining table. you can also enjoy the view of the canal from a private second floor screened in porch. 1850’s era home into a comfortable and fun place to enjoy while visiting the Lambertville and New Hope areas. This special place is close to everything, making it easy to plan your visit.

House was alittle older than expected, heat was hard to keep in the house so i was consistently cold. Furniture could use an update & shower took awhile to get hot & stay hot. Other than that views were beautiful. Was hoping to like this place

LOCATION! We enjoyed walking the canal to town and New Hope. Visiting the "boat house" for a cocktail is a must. House is historic so things like floors show it. (We like that). Downstairs can be chilly in winter but bedrooms are cozy upstairs. (steep steps, as they were in the 1800s). We had a fantastic weekend and had everything we needed including the kitchen supplies. Thank you!

This house is cozy. We enjoyed the courtyard in back. The kitchen was very well equipped, including dishware, cooking pots and utensils, lots of options for making coffee, and basics like olive oil, salt and pepper. The location on the tow path is so pleasant, and the town is very walkable. The wifi and smart tvs were also appreciated amenities. The owner was easily available and very friendly.

Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable, kitchen clean with all the necessary items. The individual ac/htg units in every room is a wonderful idea. I had contacted the host prior to stay and had a response to my question within an hour.

Great spot right on the canal path

We spent a weekend here and it was perfect for what we needed. Close to town with an easy walk along the canal tow path. Easy parking and comfortable accommodations.

Perfect place to stay

The stay Elliot’s place was perfect. The place is adorable with everything you could possibly need. The yard and upstairs porch which over looks the D &R canal are both great places for coffee and drinks. We brought our bikes and the path was literally feet from our door. We will definitely stay again.

Beautiful location!

This lovely little historic home, situated on the Canal Tow Path, is clean, well-stocked, and charming. Plus you never need a car- walk 1/2 block into Lambertville AT THE BRIDGE. The owners are friendly and helpful. Be ADVISED: *as already noted - the STAIRS are difficult for small children and the elderly.

Pretty nice

Accommodations were good: well equipped kitchen, large bed, nice master bath (although a few hooks for towels and clothing would have been helpful). Location by the canal was nice although a bit difficult to negotiate private road and parking. Very convenient to Lambertville and New Hope shops and restaurants.Two things should be noted on the listing:1. Stairs to 2nd floor are steep and narrow which could be challenging for some, especially seniors and kids. 2. There is an adjoining fully rented dwelling with a shared wall. This was not made clear in the listing. While it did not impact our stay, we were seeking privacy on our visit.

Great location, comfortable stay

We really enjoyed our stay along the towpath. The house was clean and well stocked, and it was nice to be greeted by the ducks in the canal each time we took the short walk to Lambertville. The bridge to New Hope was out of service while we were there, which was too bad, but it sounds like it won’t be closed for long.

Amazing cozy house, beautiful location

what is there to say really - everything is exactly as it looks like it'll be in the pictures: the house is gorgeous, old & cozy but with all the right modern updates, like the heating, utilities, etc. the location is as gorgeous as it looks, sitting right on the path by the canal. waking up each day and seeing the ducks roam about in the water was wonderful. lambertville is always wonderful (& new hope too) have stayed many times. this was a perfect location to enjoy both but especially lambertville of course. going to panoply, my favorite bookstore, picking up groceries from the nearby store, coffee down the street at union. only small thing is there's not much to cook with, utensil wise, and that's hardly a complaint at all - not something you really need or care about, but i just mention in case someone sees & knows they'll want to check ahead, unlike me - i was too forgetful & ended up trying to flip eggs with a lone spatula haha. the kitchen is wonderful though & it was such a joy just to get to cook finally at all after 5 weeks on the road for work eating takeout. can't recommend this place more highly!
