This it the ideal location for all Royal Oak activities! A short walk to the Royal Oak Music Theatre along with all the shops, restaurants and coffee shop.It was also easy drive to the Detroit Institute of Arts as well as the Corktown neighborhood. Would stay here again.

This was a super cute place and perfect as a home base for my sister and I attend some family events in the northern suburbs and explore downtown Detroit. It's an easy walk to downtown Royal Oak and easy access to Woodward Ave and Highways to access different areas of Metro Detroit. We experienced some minor communication issues with our host. I think that some were due to issues with the Vrbo. We otherwise had a great visit and would definitely consider booking this cute location again.

The bathroom door only closes halfway and when we brought it to the hosts attention, she ghosted us. Now seeking refund and that process has been exhausting. Spoke with customer service who made all sorts of promises but now I can’t even get a timely response from them.

Adorable house with everything you need

Cute little house with a ton of space. Everything you need to make your stay feel cozy. Downside is the tenants upstairs, but enjoyed every minute.

Great location! Cute, comfortable place!

The home was just as it was advertised. Cute, comfortable and with nice added amenities like shower soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were also sound machines in the bedrooms which was a nice surprise, along with the bottles of water and a few choice snacks.

Holiday Weekend

We came to Royal Oak to visit my my daughter and to attend a Christmas concert with my parents. The property was a great location -- we were able to walk to The Office for coffee and get to our concert -- and the set up of the house was good for two couples. Property was clean and the kitchen adequately supplied. We would book again.

Pros: location! This spot was around the corner from the Royal Oak Music Theater and walkable to downtown. This was the main reason we booked the place and it did not disappoint! The house was clean and stocked with clean linens, basic kitchen supplies and some snacks!Cons: this listing is for the bottom floor of a two unit house (which wasn’t clear in the description). The ceiling joists are very creaky and you could hear the upstairs tenants moving around. Not too much of an issue during the day, but the tenants got up at 4am and chose to vacuum at 11pm, both of which were disruptive and hard to sleep through!

Great Stay!

Everything was clean, check in was easy and seamless. Only thing was the internet was a bit slow. It was just fine for movies and such, just not for gaming if that is a hobby of yours. Other than that, it was excellent and the host was very polite and punctual with replies! I would stay again!

Sweet Spot

Great little two bedroom with contemporary style. Well appointed Kitchen with plenty of glasses and coffee mugs. Cozy linens on comfy beds. Nice room darkening drapes and very quiet area. Thirsty thick white towels gave the bath a resort feel. Pity we had rain and couldn’t enjoy the fire table on the patio. Down sides (all easily remedied!): Ice maker and dishwasher need repair. No liner in bathroom trash. Body wash was empty in shower. Vrbo recently updated things so communication that should have happened automatically had to be requested. Owner was very responsive and gracious. We enjoyed our stay!!

Everything was clean there were snacks provided, which was nice. Loved the decoration and ambience lots of light super cute. Had everything we needed. Loved the old feel of the house. The only thing is that the shower rod probably needs to be replaced because it filled out a few times when we barely move the curtain but otherwise we felt right at home loved downtown Royal Oak we went to this place. It was called seven Sundays. I believe for Matcha every day they banana pudding matcha is amazing!! as long as you have a rental car highly recommend you stay here instead of Detroit if you have something in Detroit because you'll just feel more comfortable and safe!
