Great Home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Fantastic.. house was immaculate and perfect for a group the size of ours (8). Lots of living space with TV’s and the kitchen was great.

LUCKY TO BE AT LUCKY STAR

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Travis of Tidelife couldn't have been more helpful, and Lucky Star couldn't have been more perfect a home for our family. Great floorplan, comfortable furnishings, and directly across from beach access. We will definitely be coming back to DeBordieu Colony.

The home is quite comfortable with several living areas, a well-stocked kitchen and several outdoor spaces. The beach access is directly across from the house, making the walk to the beach easy. All of the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again

Fantastic House in need of some TLC

The location and house were fantastic, however it is in need of some TLC. Masterbath ceiling needed to be painted as do some of the other ceilings. Kitchen was great had everything one would need, the furniture was comfortable in every room. Would go back in a heartbeat after some paint

Thank you for your review and constructive feedback, Courtney. As you know, Tropical Storm Debby slammed Debordieu during your stay, and unfortunately lingered for almost a week. We're certain this is what caused the mold in the master bath and the water spots, and regretfully we were not aware of these issues until after your stay. We have since cleaned up the mold, repainted the entire master bath, laundry room and downstairs living spaces, and added automatic moisture fans in the master bath and laundry rooms. We will also do a better job of monitoring water damage issues when and if they arise going forward, particularly during severe storms. Finally, we purchased our home this past Spring, and have made numerous "TLC" improvements since that time, and will continue that work accordingly. We apologize for the water damage issues, and hope you will give Seawind Retreat another chance next summer.

They had beach chairs available but I don't think it was listed ahead of time so we had rented some.

Thank you for your review and feedback, Matt. We have replaced the cooking utensils since your stay, as always if there are problems during your stay, please reach out to the Tidelife office. We do have beach chairs, toys and boogie boards available for guest use but we do not advertise or guarantee these items since they can break. Tidelife offers a rental program for beach chairs and other equipment with the rental, which is the best bet to ensure everyone has a reliable chair! We appreciate your great review and am glad you enjoyed your stay.
