Great place to stay if you want the convenience of access to downtown/GSMNP without being in the thick of the crowds. Probably two minutes to downtown and about 5 minutes to the park entry/Sugarlands visitor center area. Only downside I would say is that there is not a sidewalk if you wanted to walk to the trolley but overall it's a great clean place to stay!

So Gatlinburg was fun. Had a creek with waterfall and Grotto about 4 steps away from the patio. It was so calming. There where paw prints crossing the street to the front of the house, that was a little alarming but didn't see anything.

Location, location, location… it was the perfect location for a Gatlinburg trip. It was near the strip. It’s not walkable for us but a quick drive. The cabin was clean and cozy The beds were comfortable. The hot tub was so nice.

Perfect for our family of 6. We enjoyed the hot tub and the ability to have food delivered so we could relax. Hosts were amazing, we will stay again!

The house is the perfect size for my little family of 4. Homeowners were easy to work with during our stay. House was at a good location for us. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a great stay in Gatlinburg! The place was super clean, cozy, and well-kept. It was also very pet-friendly — our dog felt right at home. Everything was comfortable and exactly as described. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our stay here, it was just far enough out of town to feel like you are "staying in the mountains" but close enough to easily get back to the action. Beds were comfortable, the hot tub was great, and the back sitting area was beautiful!

It's best to summarize with a review from a guest. "The Mountain House was a wonderful home away from home for our honeymoon! Lisa was a very attentive host and contacted us throughout the visit. The décor was cute and welcoming, and the kitchen/bathrooms were equipped with everything we needed. The back patio was the best part, with a calming little stream and hot tub for a dip after hiking! We definitely recommend anyone who wants a modern-style cabin to stay here at the Mountain House! Thanks for having us, Lisa :)" It's an easy drive in and out of the property and conveniently located at the foot of Ober Resort and on the edge of downtown. Easy transportation; awesome hot tub on the creek; back patio with lights; comfortable mattresses...everything you need for an amazing trip.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The creek in the back is what everyone talks about. That and our super comfortable mattresses. We have a hot tub in the backyard so you can listen to the creek rushing while sipping drinks or relaxing. We are also very close to literally everything including just a short walk to downtown. We back to Smoky Mountain National Park. You can use the bypass when coming in and out of town making it a breeze to get to and from the property. We are just up Ski Mountain road so we are secluded and private without the need to drive up the steep and winding roads.
