Just a 5 minute walk to a refreshing river/ basking/ fishing and camping area. Very close to shawnee resort/ ski, where you can enjoy extra amenities. Few exits from a walmart and downtown!

Great week in the Poconos, fabulous house

Everything was as expected owner was nice and easy to work with always there to help when I had a question. Would definitely book this house again :)

Nice cabin in quiet area

This was a very nice cabin. The upstairs has a king bed and the downstairs has 2 rooms with twin beds. The kitchen has everything you need for utensils, plates and cutlery. There is a nice back deck. The street is unpaved and the driveway is fairly steep, you can navigate with a sedan but an SUV would be better. The host was very attentive and responded promptly. I would stay here again

Great place in the woods

This home was perfect for our long weekend stay. I could easily see us enjoying a longer stay here as well. The pictures currently on the online listing do not do this cute place justice. It is clean, updated and, though small, it is spacious and very comfortable. The property is amazing and just what we were looking for. The back yard is a large area of woods with houses visible and close enough to make you feel comfortable if isolation makes you nervous and far enough away to still make it feel private. It is a perfect place to set up a hammock, which we did (we brought our own). There is a fire pit with a nice area to sit. We were there in the fall so there was plenty of dead wood everywhere that was easy to collect for a fire. The driveway is steep (level at the top), but we had no difficulty. It is very dark at night driving in, but our GPS signal stayed clear the entire time to get us there. A reflective house # sign at the bottom of the driveway would be a great addition to make sure we didn't miss the driveway. Inside, the first floor of the home has 2 small bedrooms with ample room, and upstairs is 1 large bedroom with a king bed. The kitchen was well supplied. There were no spices in the home except salt. I never know what to expect with regard to spices. Make sure to confirm with the owner or just bring your own spices for cooking. There is so much to do in the area. We went to Bushkill Falls hiking one day and to Hidden Lake. Hidden Lake has a great trail through the woods that goes completely around the lake. We also just enjoyed hanging out on the property. It is so peaceful. The host was very friendly and responsive to my communication and responded promptly. Check in was clear and easy. I would definitely stay in this home again if we go back to the DE Water Gap area and have already recommended it to friends.
