Unwind in this great nicely updated cottage across the street from Lake Barkley. Freshened up with love and attention to detail. We kept the unique vintage style and added modern touches like new appliances, new flooring, fresh paint and great coffee/wine drinking screened in patio that will fit the whole family!
Community boat ramp is a 10 min walk.
Easy access to Hwy 68 will lead you to all the wonderful things to do in The Land Between the Lakes. Start with antiquing in historic Cadiz, go to the planetarium or bison prairie. Try horseback riding, biking, hiking on and off paved trails, kayaking, the best fishing around. Boat ramp near by. Land Between the Lakes has several marinas with restaurants on the water, there are local cafe style, bbq, and Mexican restaurants. If you want to stay in and cook, fully stocked kitchen and a grill.

We are available to answer any questions, we are the owners and self manage all three of our homes. When you call, you reach "US" my husband John and I are near by to assist or answer any questions.
John and I are experienced hosts w/3 homes near Lake Barkley Ky
& a local gift shop/event venue. We are full time hosts.
We love creating special places for our guests.
We own Stoneybrooke a curated gift/antique shop, hosting creative classes and private events. We fill all three of our homes with "one of a kind" items. Easy check in. Easy to communicate with the hosts. Very clean and peaceful, stocked with everything we could have needed. This was a wonderful place to be able to visit with my adult children currently enrolled in MSU. My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. I will definitely remember this place and these hosts and we will be back. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Bachelorette Party

This was the perfect house to host a small Bachelorette party. It was very easy to find, the screened in back patio area was so beautiful, the house was clean and tidy and decorated so cute. We all felt totally safe and clean the entire stay. On top of it all, the owner was very responsive and worked with me when I was arriving earlier than my check in time. Thank you again!

Nice neighborhood

Very clean and nice updated home in a quiet neighborhood. Nice backyard and screened in porch for kids to play. Dollar General 4 mins away in case you forget anything. Lake Barkley state park and kenlake park within 15/20 mins.

Sweetest hosts

We had a great time staying here while we went off roading at Land Between the Lakes! I had told Julie about bringing my rescue dog on her first vacation with us and Julie had treats and a water bowl ready for my dog once we got there! The screened in patio was absolutely perfect! We played cornhole and enjoyed our morning coffee! The bed was very comfortable as well! We’ll definitely be coming back!

Thanksgiving Getaway

I took my daughter, daughter-in-law and five grandchildren, (two are 9, one is 5, and twins are almost 2) on a short getaway (just two days). The location to all of the things we wanted to see at Land Between the Lakes was great. It was close enough to come back to the house for lunch and a short break between morning and afternoon events.

Beautifully decorated cottage in a quiet neighborhood

This was our first time to Land Between the Lakes, and this cottage was perfect for us. It is located in a quiet neighborhood, beautifully decorated, and includes all the conveniences of home. We especially liked the screened patio!

Great Home-Away-From-Home

This is a wonderful property with very comfortable beds and bedding, clean bathrooms with plenty of amenities stocked incase you forget anything, newer appliances, an amazing screened in back porch, and overall just a sense of being at home. It was just the place we needed. We had 2 teenagers and an child and they loved the board games. We will Definitely stay here again. Also, it says “pet friendly” - we did not travel with pets but were worried there may be pet hair or smell but there was none. Very clean- lovely home.

Clean, comfortable, pet friendly home

We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this lovely 3 bedroom home, close to Lake Barkley, a short drive to Land Between the Lakes and Cadiz. Very clean; appliances were like new. Tastefully decorated with many thoughtful conveniences provided by the host. Pet friendly and family friendly. The screened-in porch room was our favorite! Place to enjoy morning coffee and watch the wildlife. Quiet neighborhood.

Great Memories

Check in was super easy. Everything was as listed. The screened in porch was a huge hit with our kids (5 and 9). Every morning they asked to go out there and spent majority of their time playing out there. The house was perfect for all of our needs. The rainy day room had a good variety of games and books and things to do. We made great memories playing board games every night with the kids. They even asked if we could come back again! A 13 minute drive from Lake Barkley beach and about a 5-10 minute drive from the elk and bison prairie which is awesome around 7pm 😉. Overall we had a great experience making memories with the family.

Canton (Barkley lake)

Home was very nice, communication was superb. Nearest dock if you are boating was Barkley lodge which was close by. Overall extremely nice home plenty of room for our group of 4 adults 2 teens.

Barkley Getaway

Wonderful property that was perfect for the 5 adults and a two year old. It was easy access in back for our almost 90 year old dad. The patio is excellent for chilling out and for kids to play in also. Very clean, close to everything! Host was excellent and we will stay again on our next trip! Want to emphasize how clean this place was!!!!

Wonderful, clean home.

The house was lovely and had nearly everything we could need or want. They even had spare dog food and treats just in case we had forgotten them, which is a lovely touch. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, and the neighbors that I spoke to on my morning walls were super friendly. We would definitely stay here again. The only negative to the property was lack of storage in the twin bedroom- there was no dresser and no hangers in the closet. We had to move things around in the desk to find a spot for our girls to put their under clothing, and stack their outfits on top of the desk. A small plastic drawer organizer and some hangers in the closets (main bedroom only had 5, none in other closets) would be a wonderful addition that would make this home perfect. We’ve saved it as a favorite property though because other than figs minor inconvenience it was a great stay!

This is our favorite property to date, as it was a complete remodel that we did together. We love everything about this property. It is perfect in size, spacious and cozy. We filled it with mid-century furnishings, giving the house a warm and inviting vibe. We created a special space for retreaters to go if the weather is not cooperating with vacation plans. We call it the rainy day room. So far we have filled it with board games, books and a treadmill. But our favorite space is a large screened patio on the back of the house. Perfect for coffee or wine drinking.
