This is a wonderful way to spend a few quiet days. My only problem was getting the kayaks down to the lake.

This place is absolutely amazing. The view from the back deck is unbeatable. The home was clean, well stocked and with extra amenities, made us feel right at home. Our pups loved swimming from rocky beach and relaxing under the trees. We even got them out on the water crafts for some fun on the water. Polly is so communicative and personable. It was everything we could have hoped for and more. 10/10 would recommend. We will be back!

It was very nice that there was a welcome basket on the counter and drinks in the refrigerator. There was a great attention to detail inside the house and very well equipped. Everything was very nice and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay at this property.

If you're considering booking this lake house, just do it! The house itself is absolutely beautiful and the unobstructed views of the lake and national park are outstanding! And the level of detail within the home itself was amazing!! Polly really makes you feel right at home starting with the very thoughtful welcome gift bag to the basket of miscellaneous essentials if you forgot something at home. We spent hours enjoying the kayaks and standup paddle board. And the sunsets...stunning! We will most definitely be recommending this home to anyone we know that is considering a visit to the area!

This was the perfect place for my husband and I to get away for a few days. Beautiful view of the lake and excellent amenities! Great communication from our hosts and easy check in/out process. Great place for a small dog. We enjoyed the Cadiz restaurants and the Antique stores. We will definitely stay here again.

Great place! Perfect place to unwind. The view is beautiful, the house was clean and well stocked. The grill worked great and the kayak's were a blast to have as an option. Cant wait to return.

What a lovely cottage! It was immaculate. Kitchen was well-supplied; plenty of plush towels and comfortable bedding.A gorgeous view of the lake from the back deck. The firepit area was very nice.This was our second stay at Lakeshore Cottage. We will definitely be back.Highly recommend.

The property was great. Beautiful views super clean house and the doggies loved it. The best thing was that after driving 15 hours and getting in late we were starved to death. We walked in and there was a fruit basket with candy bars, and drinks in the fridge. That was the icing on the cake. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great view and a nice quiet neighborhood. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We give it 5 stars!!!!

View was beautiful. Neighborhood was quiet. Kitchen was well equipped and the host left snacks/drinks and a care package of things you might have forgotten. And clean.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this lake house over spring break. The home is impeccable—beautifully decorated and thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need, from plenty of towels to a fully equipped kitchen.The view of Lake Berkley is truly stunning and made for such a peaceful, relaxing getaway. What really set this place apart, though, was the owner. They were incredibly responsive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely come back again!

My family and I had the BEST time at Polly’s lake house! The house was beautiful and was super clean! It had the most beautiful views, and the kayaking was the icing on the cake! Highly recommend for a relaxing weekend!

The perfect little cottage to get away from it all! Cozy comfort with spectacular views of the lake from every room! We wanted a peaceful place to relax and do a little hiking, and this place was wonderful for both. We will be back!

It is a perfect little cottage - for a couple to "get away" and enjoy some R-n-R or take a long walk around the neighborhood, or an even longer hike in one of the many trails in LBL or across either bridge that spans over Lake Barkley, or Kentucky Lake!

Our host was great, the cottage was as advertised and very comfortable. We had a great time and enjoyed the lake views especially at sunset. The welcome gifts were appreciated. There were a couple of small issues that were quickly resolved. Awesome host!!!!!!

My husband and I recently stayed at this property for 4 nights and it was wonderful. Everything is clean and nice with lots of special little touches. The cottage, the view, check in, and communication with the owner was all 5 stars. I highly recommend this property and hope to stay again in the future, perfect getaway!!

Thank you! This really IS the place for a quiet relaxing sit on the deck to look at the fantastic view, or a boat or barge or cruise ship going by! Or, sitting up on the covered patio reading a book, or taking a walk down at the beach, lake side! And I personally want to thank you and appreciate that you guys left the property just as you found it...my cleaners say THANK YOU too!!..... :-)

Gorgeous view!

Our stay was wonderful! Polly provided everything anyone could need, besides food, property was clean, view was amazing, and overall stay was excellent. Will definitely recommend this place! Polly was also very responsive and went above and beyond with our expectations with the property!

I can’t say enough great things about this property. Beautiful inside and out, incredible view, location and special little thoughtful touches I’ve never seen any where else. Host was wonderful to work with and very helpful. Hope to visit again in near future.
