We enjoyed ourselves in the area and the property was perfectly located for easy access to everything we needed. The cabin was great for our family of four and our dog. We had everything we needed in the cabin.

Great location, cozy and CLEAN

We really enjoyed our stay. It was centrally located between the guadalupe and canyon lake. The accommodations were absolutely perfect!

Perfect accommodation for hill country visit.

Very cute tiny house!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Laird's Hideaway! The tiny house was perfect for our stay. Very close to the river and Canyon Lake.

A homey environment for a weekend retreat

My dog and I enjoyed our stay while in town for an event. Lots of beautiful hiking options, local restaurants, and friendly locals to make our stay at Morty Hideaway the perfect weekend getaway. The property is welcoming, just as described, and in a central and easily accessible part of town. Would absolutely recommend and stay there again!

Great Location

Perfect place to get away for a Schlitterbahn trip! Super place for the dog to tag along. Parking spot is a short walk to home.

The cabin was beautiful. The furniture was new and comfy and the appliances new. Everything was stylish and spotless. This place is also located close to a nice grocery store. The best part was the stay was the gorgeous yard. The grass was green and soft to the touch. I visit Texas every year, and I will definitely be booking for next year.

We stayed in the Morty cabin and it was exactly as described. The cabin was clean, well appointed and very comfortable. The seven pickleball courts were great and we had a good time with the glow in the dark pickleball. Joyce and Brent were kind and very attentive!

Awesome cabin and location!

Awesome property close to the Canyon Lake dam and water. The house was very clean and had awesome cooking materials and grill. The hosts were very accommodating and made the place feel like home. I highly recommend and would be happy to return in the future.

All you need for a relaxing get a way

Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Laird’s Hideaway in Morty’s Cabin. Host gave great suggestions about things we were interested in doing. The cabin was as pictured and extremely clean. Huge bonus was its dog friendly, even pup bowls inside. Location was great and close to the lake. Also easy to get to Gruene, & New Braunfels.

Amazing Property - Perfect Stay

Easy to access and spot on to the listing. Beautiful property that felt tucked away without having to be miles down a dirt road. Would recommend this one to anybody looking for a spot to unwind. All of the small notes to make it feel homey and warm were noticed the second we walked through the door! Thanks for having us, will definitely be back!

Wonderful cabin

We stayed here for about a week to attend a wedding and visit with family and friends. The owners were very nice and accommodating for us. We have two larger dogs and they had plenty of space. Everything was very clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay here again!

This is our 3rd year to stay on this property and it is always amazing!The past two years we have stayed in the same cabin with the country feel, this year we stayed at the other one next to it with the industrial decor.Both are beautiful, well kept, very clean and have everything you need. We felt safe, relaxed and cozy on our vacation.The owners are friendly as they have always been. They love dogs as dog owners themselves and they make it very inviting for those of us with our fur babies.There aren’t many places that allow dogs over 50 lbs, but they do and that’s just one of the many reasons we keep coming back! Highly recommend!

Very pet friendly

Laird’s hideaway was perfect for our needs. Comfortable. Surprisingly roomy, big enough for us to have a Thanksgiving lunch for five people. It’s best for short stays, though. There’s no designated space for luggage and hanging clothes.
