We had a mini family vacation before we took my niece and nephew back home. House was so cute and comfortable for us we enjoyed seeing all the deer. Location was great

House was clean. Simple yet cozy for our family. Enough room for us all. Sliding doors in room could use curtains or blinds kids imaginations ran wild with being able to see outside at night. Over all we were very happy with our over night stay.

The host NEVER responded, it wasn’t clean at the check-in time and they tried changing the check out time on the last day. Stay away.

The house is super cute. Perfect for a family. We enjoyed having access to a full kitchen and a dining table. My only recommendation is to double check the thermostat. We found the house got really warm both nights. On the morning we were leaving, I noticed the thermostat was set to 90! It had been set to 70 during the daytime hours.

Good location

The house is located in a good location. Check-in was easy, and the house was clean. We were disappointed to find that the house was not stocked with the typical items you expect to find in a vacation rental. We had to go to the store to purchase more towels, there were only two for seven people. We also had to buy pillowcases for the beds; only one bed had them. We also had to buy kitchen items just to cook breakfast and lunch. Emailed this to the host but never heard anything back

Most hosts communicate via the VRBO app; not this guy. He emails, which gets stuck in spam. He leaves a key under the mat. He states his maintenance man was aware of the ant infestation and the busted dishwasher with 2" of standing water, but he was somehow not. Floors were sticky, beds covered in ants (it looked like a scene from Indiana Jones), no extra linens when I was forced to move my kids from the beds to the sofa (due to aforementioned ants), only one towel per person in the entire house. The garbage bin was stuffed full on the curb when we arrived at 9pm on Friday, and never emptied by the time we left at 1045am on Monday. Floors were sticky in the closet, which left my luggage sticky (with what?!?). After I complained to VRBO, Farry reached out and asked that I call him. Do you think he answered when I called? Of course not. Then he messaged that he was sending his maintenance man and exterminator to treat the home during our stay. No, thank you. We had personal belongings and pets in the home. We didn't feel it was appropriate for him to try to enter the property during our stay to address an infestation that should have been handled in between guests. The final straw was when he sent a message that our checkout time was 1100am, despite the listing showing checkout at 1200 noon. He was so unprofessional, dirty, unhygienic, and I would not recommend this listing for anyone who wants a safe, clean space free of the host's invasion during your vacation.
