Cozy and Well Designed

This casita is in a central location with a well designed layout, outdoor space and a comfortable bed. The owner has given thought to her guests needs. Would return when in Austin.

Wonderful Host

Virginia, our host, was exceptional and her communication was outstanding. She was flexible and accommodating to our needs. I highly recommend staying at her place.

Great stay!

The place and the location was excellent. Close to everything. I can’t say enough about how clean everything was. It was a quiet respite. The communication with the host was fantastic. Thank you for an amazing stay.

The Perfect Casita

Virginia made our stay seamless and very welcoming! The little casita is located in perfect walking distance to local little bakeries, ATX eats, and a coffee shop with some yummy breakfast tacos!! Our pups were also welcome to the casita!! They enjoyed the yard and the park down the street was a major bonus for them! The casita was the most tidy very well kept space we’ve stayed in ATX! We will definitely be back for another cozy stay!

Cozy Cottage

This was my first time to stay at this adorable guest house. Every detail was carefully thought out with the guest’s comfort in mind. The charming neighborhood is very walkable with restaurants nearby. Convenient to freeways. Communication with host is excellent. I will definitely be back!

Perfect Girls Weekend!

A friend and I stayed at the Casita and had an excellent time! The neighborhood was super cute and we enjoyed getting to know the Rosedale area. There is a coffee shop right around the corner from the Casita called Stinson's that we started our day at both of the mornings we were there; grabbed an afternoon treat at Upper Crust, which was right across from Stinson's and had yummy baked goods and coffees; and one night we had pizza and wine at Gusto's, also walkable from the house. For further away things we took Ubers (Moody Center, South Congress, downtown) and had no issues at all. The Casita was clean and cozy and we enjoyed sitting on the porch and hanging out. Would definitely stay with Virginia again!

Peaceful casita

Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay for our trip to ACL. The place was spotless, beautifully decorated, and quiet. Host is very responsive and sent out a welcome text on our day of arrival with helpful info. We also got to enjoy driveway parking because the main house was not in use (plenty of front street parking tho too). Another bonus was the three separate patios available to us (one off of the bedroom was private).

Great Place to Stay!

This is a very nice, clean, comfortable casita with close parking & great amenities. We liked that it was level (no stairs) throughout with a big walk-in shower - we are older people so that was convenient. Owner communication was excellent - we would definitely stay at this property again!

Wonderful stay

We had an amazing stay! The property was clean, comfortable and exactly as described. The location was perfect and the host was incredibly responsive and accommodating. We can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!

This little house is quiet and super cute! It’s perfect for a little weekend getaway. Check in was easy, it was very clean (i’m OCD, so it passed my test!), and the property owner is very kind with great recommendations! My dog also had a great time! The location of this house is perfect! Everything about this property is enjoyable! We will definitely be back:)

Comfortable and Convenient Stay During Our Move

Incredibly comfortable, quiet, and clean small house. It had everything we needed and Virginia is accommodating and friendly. Walking distance to a great bakery and pub and only a short drive to Central Market. The dedicated yard was perfect for our dog and we loved meeting the owner’s dog Meatball. Definitely will stay here again when we’re back in Austin.

Beautiful little casita in great location

This place was great! Even in the heat, we were able to take walks because the neighborhood is so nicely shaded. Also, the house itself has cute seating area outside all covered in shade. Just bring mosquito spray! Virginia was extremely helpful and kind and very easy going. Really enjoyed our stay here!

A charming quiet home with plenty of privacy.

This was my second time visiting Austin and I cannot say enough about the city and the host. She called me a few days in advance to check in and inform me how to reach her. Her home is stunning, functional, and very clean. You can tell a lot of pride is taken in the maintenance of her property. We had to have a package sent to her home before our arrival and she informed us when it was delivered. I greatly appreciated all her help in making our stay smooth and enjoyable. I would highly recommend staying at the Casita.

My husband and I, along with our little dog - stayed in this stunning Casita in such a lovely neighborhood!! So walkable to many great eateries and large park ! The Casita was clean & modern and the added bonus - was the fenced in yard for our pup and also for relaxing in the evening ! ALL the furnishings ( interior and exterior- were super comfortable! ) Our gracious host - Virginia was so welcoming and hospitable . We absolutely enjoyed our stay and couldn’t have asked for more !!!

Beautiful Gem in a perfect location!

My wife and I had a weekend getaway and booked Virginia's property on Rosedale. The location was in a great neighborhood and the back house was in excellent condition and one of the cleanest VRBO's we have ever booked! It was a perfect size for the 2 of us and our goldendoodle! The fenced in backyard that's available to the guests is a perfect place to relax and enjoy for us 2 legged and 4 legged guests! Great communication from Virginia about surrounding restaurants and the proximity to the UT campus and downtown is excellent! We will certainly be back!

The Wonderful Casita

We had the BEST time at Virginia's Casita. First, it's located in a perfect area just a few miles from everything in downtown Austin. The location could not have been better for our visit. The Casita is absolutely beautiful!! It appeared to be very new with lots of special touches. The pictures online are totally accurate. Not only did we enjoy the super comfortable Casita, it had two private decks to sit and enjoy the surroundings. Virginia was a fabulous host making checking in and out super easy. She and her family even helped bring our suitcases right into the Casita. We had a special connection with Virginia and enjoyed some interesting conversations with her. We HIGHLY recommend this property. We visit the area every few years from Oregon and plan to stay at Virginia's Casita when we return.
