This unique and updated 1950's house has everything you want in a mountain town vacation rental. Beautiful and cozy inside and out. Plenty of space for 2 -4 people or even a family of 6 who wants to use the pull out couch.

The dining room has a wall of windows (glass garage door) that looks out onto an outdoor patio area and a gorgeous landscaped lawn bursting with colorful flowers and even edible fruits like blueberries and figs.

Large and beautifully landscaped front yard with patio. Off street parking in driveway that allows space for 2 or 3 cars.

The house is a duplex style, with a small living space with long term renters below this unit. The house is set up on a corner lot in such a lovely way that allows each unit to have separate driveways and entrances on opposite sides of the house. No spaces overlap, inside or out.

One mile walk or bike to downtown Hendersonville. Take a short and scenic drive to Asheville & world renowned National Forests.

Cozy and Chic

We stayed in Hendersonville one night this place was awesome! We loved the decor and coziness of the house and wish it was warm enough to open the garage door to the patio. Will definitely stay here again!

Relaxing time in Hendersonville.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this mid-modern house. It was within a mile of downtown, although the hill was a bit of a climb. 😉 The house was comfortable and kitchen well equipped. It was on a somewhat busy street, but you could not hear the traffic inside. Hendersonville is a lovely small town and a great place to spend some time.

Perfect location

We were in town for a baseball tournament and wanted to be close to the fields — this was the perfect spot. Melissa was quick to respond, allowed for early check in so we could get to our games and was very helpful! Plenty of space and easy access to downtown!

Excellent Option in Hendersonville

This was a great option for me, my husband and my teen daughter. We only stayed a night to drop her at her camp but that’s not because of the home. The house is very clean and well appointed; Melissa does a great job of leaving things in obvious locations to make everything easily accessible and easy to find. You’d never know there were downstairs neighbors so we did our best to respect them by being quiet where we knew their bedroom was. Honestly it felt like we were staying at a friend’s house - we had access to cleaning supplies, the kitchen and it’s accoutrements, towels in the bathroom, and nice sheets on the bed. It felt homey too with live plants, easy breakfast offerings and a coffee bar. The chickens are in a coop in the backyard and my daughter had a great time visiting them. She slept closest to them and said they made no noise until about 8:15 am, which was an appreciated. I loved sitting in the family room listening to the birds chirping this am, watching the chipmunk, and the rabbit. It felt like we were sitting in a Disney movie as the world woke up around us. Highly recommend, so glad we have this place booked for another night later!

Worse than 1 star! Did not stay there!

Hopefully, the owner canceled and refunded as promised. Moldy shower, shower curtain and some floors, dirty appliances and floors, strong urine smell, large black ants, broken blinds, rusted beyond useable grill, filthy inside and outside. Owner was very rude and stated we were too picky even after seeing the pictured proof of disgusting condition. Could not have stayed as it was unhealthy to breathe the mold and unclean. OWNER made the VRBO experience HORRIBLE.

Perfect location

The neighborhood is adorable, quiet, safe, and walkable. This house was great for two couples. Each bedroom had privacy and the rest of the house was spacious enough for 4 people to not feel on top of each other. We loved the mid-century style of the house too! We did not hear the downstairs tenants at all.

Easy stay on the outskirts of downtown Hendo

The only real negative was how the photos and description made me think I was renting a single family house with a back yard but it's actually a duplex built into a hill with other tenants on the bottom floor with a separate entrance and driveway and our yard was in the front. It ended up not being a big deal. I liked the home layout and the downtown shops were only a 3 minute drive away. And there was a hose outside to clean my bike after a good ride at DuPont.
