Excellent place for family fun at the beach

We had a great time staying with 9 family members. The backyard pool and surrounding deck was great for lounging around. Convenient location to old st Augustine and an easy 5 min walk to the beach. Walked the beach every morning.

Great house for a family vacation

We totally enjoyed our stay. The house was perfect for a family vacation. The outdoor space with the pool was ideal for everyone to gather and the house had plenty of room for the kids to play and the adults to hang. The beach access was easy breezy with the golf cart. I highly recommend and we look forward to staying there again.

Absolutely wonderful!!! Beyond the fact that she was a dream to work with before the stay and during the booking process, the house was beautiful and immaculate, the pool was everything I want (it’s a cocktail pool which makes it great for hanging out as a group), and she didn’t have any ridiculous demands. I highly recommend and if I vacay in St Augustine again I will definitely stay there!!!

My two friends and I stayed at Once Upon A Tide and loved the property. We were one block from the beach but enjoyed the in-ground pool at Denise’s property immensely. Great girls weekend that will probably turn into a yearly event. Thank you, Denise for an amazing stay!!

Incredible

We were a group of nine ladies who organized a weekend together and decided to book this house and we are so glad we did. The property is so nice, the backyard and pool are incredible, and we felt so welcomed. We very much enjoyed the property and all of the details and hard work that went into it – I would absolutely stay here again.

We did a mother / daughter spring break. 3 teenage girls and 3 moms. This house was everything and more! Organized, clean and everything you could possibly need. It is as beautiful as it looks in the pictures. All essentials for cooking. More than enough beach towels for the pool. Multiple chairs, coolers, toys and wagons for the perfect beach day which is a 5 minute easy (and safe) walk. Denise was a delight and incredibly responsive to any and all questions throughout our stay. I couldn't recommend this house more!!

Quiet and Relaxing

The house was clean and super relaxing! Both checking in and out was super easy. We enjoyed the cabana and the pool. All of the touristy things are close enough to easily get to, but still far enough away that we could relax and enjoy the quiet beach neighborhood. Definitely check out Aunt Kate’s for dinner. It was really close to the house and felt like a hidden gem.

We absolutely loved our stay! We drove over from Sarasota to attend a football game in Jacksonville. It was a beautiful drive from Denise’s place up A1A. The house was perfect! Close to the beach to catch the sunrise, close to the historical district but in a quiet lovely neighborhood. The house was wonderful for a family and did not miss a thing. Highly recommend!
