Large "open concept" living room/dining room, wonderful kitchen with chef's dream stove/oven to create wonderful meals to enjoy. Minutes from Durango and 20 minutes from Purgatory! NOTE: 16 stairs to deck and front door.

Gorgeous home and location

You couldn't ask for more, this house offers everything! My group of 5 found the property perfect for our stay to explore Durango and Silverton. There were many extras in case you forgot something, making the stay relaxing. Guests all slept well in their beds and we loved the moonlight by the fireplace on the deck. Did I say gorgeous?! The area was stunning and I hope to visit again!

Great Weekend!

Great views from the front deck and from the back yard. We had 3 adults and 4 teenagers and had plenty of room. The kitchen was beautifully remodeled and stocked with everything we needed. The property manager was very nice and responsive when we had a question with the hot tub. Would definitely rent again.

Excellent Property

Pictures and words hardly do justice to the great views and wonderful accommodations. The views are incredible from both the front and back decks. Wonderful house inside as well. Kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need from spices to cookware. Absolutely loved staying here. Location is great. Plenty of solitude and quiet, and Durango is a short drive away. Property is very well maintained and managed. We had one very minor issue with the refrigerator when we first arrived, and messaged Robert, the property manager and he was there in 5 minutes to fix the problem. Not to mention that he was very helpful and a super nice guy. Nothing more relaxing than sitting on the deck, watching hummingbirds and listening to the faint whistle of the train. My kids and I can’t wait to go back. This is an excellent base for exploring everything around Durango and beyond as well as a nice place to hang out and relax. My kids and I discussed returning next summer before we even left. Highly recommended!!

Gorgeous view!

This was our first time renting a house for a vacation and it was a great experience. The view from the front deck is amazing and the patio furniture is so comfy! The neighborhood is quiet and is a Dark Sky area, allowing you to really see the stars. The hosts provided guide books to local flora and fauna, trail maps, and games. A lot of areas around Durango won’t have cell service, so make sure you have a physical map if you’re heading out to explore. The kitchen was fully stocked with cooking tools, spices, and condiments, though we didn’t need them because we found so many great places to eat. (Strongly recommend James Ranch Grill for dinner, by the way.) I was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to check in and check out and it was nice to have everyone in a single space rather than spreading out over 2-3 separate hotel rooms. Our “kids” are 15, 18, and 20, so a regular hotel room doesn’t work for us. This was a great fit!

Great stay!

Loved the length of front deck with great views and comfy chairs. Loved the hot tub and star gazing. Spacious kitchen. Quiet area but close enough to everything we wanted to do!

Beautiful property!

Absolutely Beautiful views from the deck. Well stocked kitchen, with a nice and open floor plan. House was extremely clean and comfortable. The Hot tub on back deck was great. A very Private and peaceful location, We will Definitely be staying there again on our next trip to Durango!
