Weekend getaway

Unique Experience

When we arrived we had to double check to make sure we were in the correct location…way more than expected… lots of space and privacy, real cabin from the 1800s, fully furnished and owners provided snacks and drinks, we had never been to Maryland before…Truly unique experience we will go back hopefully for a little longer

Wonderful little cabin

Cozy cabin, wonderful hosts, great location near the AT. Probably the most thoughtful host we’ve had, they’ve thought of everything from breakfast treats and extra linens, even dog treats.

Incredible Cozy Cabin

Great space to stay in! Very very cozy cabin with great views, and close to the local cities if you want to get out and about. Hosts were very supportive, communicative, and hospitality was through the roof. Would love to stay here again!!!

Quiet and cozy weekend getaway

We so enjoyed our weekend getaway! The cabin was a perfect cozy place for us. We especially enjoyed the large porch and spent many hours out there enjoying the scenery. The house was well stocked with everything that we needed. We would love to come back someday!

Cozy cabin

What a nice find! The cabin was comfortable and the porch was great. We enjoyed sitting outside and enjoying the fall weather. Everything we needed was there. I wish we weee able to stay longer.

Fantastic log cottage

We stayed here during our sons wedding weekend. The property is amazing. It is wonderfully decorated with all the amenities. Our stay was truly a home away from home. We can’t wait to return. I’m surprised it’s not booked years in advance.

Idyllic Getaway

We stole away to the cabin for a quick weekend trip. The property was very well maintained, very clean, well-equipped for our needs, and picturesque to say the least. It's also conveniently situated only a stone's throw away from various food and recreation spots. We had a great time, and would encourage others to stay here without hesitation.

Peaceful and Relaxing

Couples getaway

Went to some of the civil war sights and sight seeing hiked a few trails cabin is right near anything you could want for restaurants and shops but is far enough way from towns so it is very quiet at night spent every evening on the back porch enjoying the peace love the history of the cabin as well

Cute weekend getaway

This little cabin is adorable and was a very charming place to spend a weekend away with my loved one. The attention to details with extra towels, scones and other snacks in the fridge, and several soaps/bath scrubs available made the experience above and beyond any other rental I have stayed at. I would happily book here again and would definitely recommend to any couple for a nice weekend away.

Beautiful and relaxing

Property was beautifully manicured. Cabin was rustic but comfortable with all the comforts of home. I loved sitting on the huge wrap around porch in the morning listening to the birds and watching the sunrise.

A great escape

This cabin was a great escape from the din of city life. Very relaxing, peaceful, and quiet. The owners are very generous and everything was perfect. Me and my dog had a great time.

Perfect home away from home

So happy to have discovered this place! It looks and feels right out of a storybook and provided a really ideal place to come back to in between hikes and swims. Came here with my pup for a break from city life and the location was perfect to get to various state parks and Pebble Beach. Thanks to the wonderful host, I’ll definitely be back! Ps, I agree with the previous review about feeling safe here as a solo traveler!

An amazing getaway

Took my girlfriend for a weekend away turned up better than hopes for with the country view and the place was very nice she loved it everything about the place was wonderful I'd recommend it to anyone for nice quiet weekend away or longer
