Beautiful RIVERFRONT studio apartment close to Glacier National Park!

Our charming riverfront guesthouse can sleep 6 in a Queen bed, Queen air mattress, and Full sleeper sofa. Fully equipped kitchen and bath. Luxurious bedding and linens, new sleeper sofa, and full-sized washer & dryer located in garage. It has an open living/studio space and homey feeling with a deck looking right at the Middle Fork of the Flathead River and on into Glacier Park! The best guesthouse getaway is only 13 minutes away from Glacier National Park, 23 miles away from Big Mountain Ski Resort, and right on the Middle Fork of the Flathead River! The perfect home base for any adventure!
The space:
You have a fenced in yard and access to river deck which is shared with other residents in house. However, there is no access from one to the other. Your privacy is fully intact!
The yard is fenced; however, you are completely responsible for the safety of your family and prevention of drownings.
Guest access:
To the left of the garage is the door to the upstairs of the beautiful apartment. There is a keyless code lock on door to get into the apartment.
Other things to note:
Air-conditioning, brand new couch that can fold out to a bed, brand new 17" grill and lighting to river added for 2025.
Brand-new queen-size bed added in 2026.

We had a great stay in Hungry Horse. Derrick’s accommodations were cozy, clean, & the views are hard to beat. The location was great for our visit to Glacier.

We had a great stay! The place was perfect for what we needed, very clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Everything was easy and we felt right at home.The only thing I’d note is that the stairs down to the river felt a little precarious, so I’d recommend using some extra caution, especially if they’re wet. Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend it!

We enjoyed our stay in Hungry Horse! The bed was the best, so comfortable. River access was a plus and the place was clean. Derrick was responsive to all our needs and quick to communicate. So close to the west entrance of Glacier!

We loved this studio room! It was clean and in a perfect location to west glacier national park. Very cozy and had everything you could think of. We never saw the owners, which we have loved to meet them. We sat by the river and ate a sandwich before dark and watched the sun rise from the porch. I would recommend it!

The studio was perfect for our family to crash after long days at Glacier. Very clean and the kitchen was great! Super close to town and just 20 mins from the park entrance. Wish we had had more time to enjoy the river deck.

Location location location. If you are going to Glacier NP it’s great but also close to other places too. It’s pretty basic- not overstocked but met our needs. Didn’t spend much time there but beautiful view when we were there. Thanks Derrick for good communication.

We enjoyed our stay here- the bed was comfortable and the apartment was in a really great location for getting to Glacier NP. My only complaint was that there are busy train tracks nearby that get a lot of use, including in the middle of the night. This wasn't ideal for getting a good rest in for an early hike. I'd recommend bringing earplugs or using white noise to hopefully drown out the horns.

Thanks for staying. Yes the train is across the river, and I like it. I find it relaxing and soothing. First compaint on the train across the river in the seven years I have been renting the place. For anybody else who books and does not like trains, you can shut the window and use the A/C.

Upgrades are made every year. Sorry this customer did not enjoy the bed. This customer also received one heck of a price for a booking late in the year.

The stairs to the river are very dangerous. Other than that it's actually quite private and nice. Checkout time is a bit early. Bed is comfortable. It's a bit expensive for the location. Sure it's close to glacier national Park but if your staying short term it's not really worth it. Side s go off at 3 am. Not sure what that was about? Someone knocked on our door at 7 am? Not sure why? Other than that it was a nice short sleep. Onto the next. The stairs to the river are very scary. Definitely not for kids or elderly.

First review less than a five this year. There is a rail and lights going to river. As far as the knock on the door, that was me leaving to go to work at 7 am l. There was no knock at the door. A appreciate your stay, but maybe next time if your stying one night, you should pick a hotel 6.

Perfect location

Location couldn’t be any better unless you were inside the park itself, right next to food and gas, short drive into west entrance of Glacier NP

We have nothing but good things to say about our accommodations. The property was exceptionally clean, beautiful yard and view of the river, and a convenient location close to everything we visited (Glacier, Whitefish, and Columbia Falls).Next time in the area, we'll be happy to stay here again.
