Located in a Quiet and Quaint, Family Neighborhood where the Ice Cream Man still makes his rounds, this classic, beautifully renovated 1940s cottage sits 6 houses away from a private park with small beach.
10 minutes to Cedar Point, Kalahari, Sports Force and Ferries to the Islands. And 2 miles to Huron Lighthouse Pier with on river restaurants, roof top wine bar, boutique shops and boat basin events. Close to 2 Nature Preserves & Nickel Plate Beach.
Near many thrift , charity and boutique shops.
For optimal comfort this cozy 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is best suited for up to 6 or a maximum of 4 adults. Can sleep 7.
Crystal Cove bedroom has a queen-sized bed, two side tables, bench and closet.
California Dreaming bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed and a large fold down/pop up sofa bed. The closet has a bench and ample storage.
Must 8 years or older to use top bunk.
Second bedroom has door to exterior with 3 locks.
Thick high quality Serta BeautyRest memory foam mattresses on all 3 beds.
Living room has pop up sofa bed.
Central Air in all rooms.
The new fully equipped, galley style kitchen has white marble countertops and a breakfast bar with four bar stools.
Electric ice cream maker, toaster, small crockpot, air fryer, blender, coffee kettle and single cup Keurig. Stem ware. Kids dishes.

Great Trip!
This was perfect for our stay… close to the beach, close to Cedar Point, and close enough to Cleveland to go to a Guardians game. The house is well stocked & well located. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this property. It was very clean and comfortable. It had lots of kids activities and was right down the street from cedar point. Would definitely stay again.

The place was amazing. Super clean and really nice inside. House was perfect location to everything and was fully equipped with everything we need. Host was friendly and quickly answered all questions. 100 percent staying there again

Mother and daughter getaway
The cottage is so cute, just as pictured. We loved all the little touches (flashlights and books in kids room, rock painting setup on porch, etc).

Extremely clean and cozy!
Nice quiet neighborhood and extremely clean property. Great communication with host. My family and I enjoyed the stay! Highly recommended!

Perfect Getaway
We really enjoyed our time at this lake cottage. The house was clean and updated at every feature. The decor was beautiful and cozy. We would recommend this house to anyone wanting a quiet vacation.

Great stay by the lake!
The beach cottage was perfect for what we needed. One block from a small park & beach. The property was very clean and beautifully decorated. Lots of outdoor activities to play with for our children. Thanks for a great stay!

Cedar Point
This was a short getaway for our family and the cottage was perfect for us. Our kids enjoyed the private beach & playground and then we had full day at Cedar Point and a full day at Nickel Plate Beach.

Cutest cottage ever!
This host has thought of it all. The cottage was spotless. The amenities were great! Enjoyable evening strolls to the lake. Beautifully decorated, like straight out of a magazine.

Exceptionally clean and quality amenities
Our family had a wonderful stay at this cottage. They have electronic air purifiers in each room and the entire cottage was exceptionally clean. We would recommend this property to a family of 4 to 5.

Nice place for a small family. VERY clean!
Our stay was great! Not many places meet my expectations for cleanliness, but this home did. Our children loved the sidewalk chalk and rock painting. Very pretty view from the private beach.

We absolutely loved our stay here! The place is immaculate and also very updated and the craftmanship, finishes and appointments are amazing throughout!

This home has been immaculately cared for. It is beautiful, clean, cozy, fun, unique. The owners are sweet and responsive, and personalize the visit. We will absolutely be back!

Amazing property and owners
We love staying here. The cottage is exactly as described, with spot-on decor, efficient use of space, and practical amenities indoors and out. The owners are friendly and helpful, even letting us know where the crawl space was during a storm. We are excited to go back a third year.

Wonderful stay!
We stayed for a week for my daughter’s dance competition and so glad we chose this cottage! Very homey, very clean, had everything we needed! Had toys, books, movies, and crafts for the kids to do as well as all the kid dishes you could need. Absolutely wonderful! And communication with the owners and check in/out was super easy and convenient. Would definitely recommend!!

James and Rebecca happened upon Rye Beach in Huron, Ohio one cold, snowy day in February about 8 years ago and have been hooked ever since. The nostalgic feel of the Lake Erie front neighborhood, ease of access to Lake Erie, proximity to Village events and local attractions has made it our escape to place of choice. We love to ride our jet skis and visit all the local villages like Vermillion and Marblehead.
