Our Summer Adventure

Our family enjoyed the stay at this property! Our hosts made our stay feel like home away from home. We enjoyed all the amenities from evenings on the deck to visiting the private beach-so much to enjoy. It was a truly tranquil experience with a mixture of amazing adventure!

We enjoyed a wonderful family vacation while visiting Cedar Point. Property was very clean, comfortable, and excellent location to Cedar Point & surrounding area. Beautiful back deck to relax on each day. Great visit! Excellent communication with hosts.

A beautiful piece of paradise

Our stay was perfect. Very well stocked and such a peaceful location. Neighbors are very friendly. The owners are very responsive and kind. Definitely will stay again.

Beautiful condo in a great location.

Golf was great. Fun community with lots to do. Beach, pool, fishing, bike riding, walks and plenty of green areas for sports.

A perfect stay!

We LOVED our stay at the perfect location! The condo was clean, decorated beautifully and included everything we needed including a golf cart! We loved hanging out on the deck. The golf course was literally in the backyard! We golfed several times during the week and had a great lunch at the golf course restaurant. Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay again!

Wonderful Hostess!!

The property was immaculate and completely stocked with hotel style amenities! Five star!! the bedding and linens were top notch - a really wonderful surprise! We had a few questions throughout our stay and the hostess responded warmly and right away! I highly recommend this property above any of the others I’ve seen or heard about - from the people in the dance competition we traveled with. Thanks you so much Lisa for making our stay so enjoyable!

Great for weddings!

The condo was a great location for staging of my daughter's wedding that took place at Sawmill Creek gazebo. The condo was used as the brides maid changing location and the locationfor the many wedding related functions. Great location and very lovely.

The condo was perfect. It was very clean and updated and had everything we needed and more. Lots of small touches like plenty of paper products and kitchen supplies and towels. The towels were good sized and soft. Spices, oils, ziplocs l, cookie trays, and food containers were available. Shampoo and soap were provided. Everything was well stocked. We always pack extra in case and I didn’t need to dip into my stash. The beds were comfortable. My kids absolutely loved feeding the fish every time they woke up and we returned to the condo from being out all day. We saw tons of little fish and a couple turtles and large glub glubs we called them. My husband and I even enjoyed it. We bought clearance bread at Walmarts bakery section and it was endless entertainment. The golf cart was fun and we went to the secret beach for a day. Easy distance to Cedar Point where we spent most of our days. Highly recommend. The pictures make the place look dark but the main area and bathrooms were lit well. The bedrooms could be a little dark in the evening. Some small maintenance issues that were no fault of the owners when we arrived. they responded immediately and worked to resolve the issues at minimal disruption to us. We are a family of 4 with a 9 and 13 year old and the space was great for us. 2 baths and separate bedrooms were perfect. It rained most days so we didn’t get to take advantage of the deck but it was much larger than I expected and inviting.

Fun and Enjoyable

a really nice and comfortable condo with a large patio overlooking a small pond and the golf course with nice deck furniture and umbrellas along with an outdoor gas grill. Two bedrooms and two baths with a queen bed in one bedroom and two queen beds in the other. next to the golf course was a park called Sheldon Marsh with a nice walking path from Cleveland road to Lake Erie.

Close to everything, but quiet and peaceful enough to feel like you're away from it all.

We came down from Canada for a family excursion to Cedar Point. While Cedar Point was the main attraction for my children...my wife and I also wanted to see what else Sandusky had to offer in the way of sights and restaurants etc. This property is close to everything. It has every amenity you would ever need in the condo. Beautiful and relaxing area right on the pond. My children loved feeding the fish and turtles in the pond, my daughter even named the turtles. I brought my elderly parents along on the trip as well and they absolutely loved just relaxing on the deck overlooking the pond and enjoying the weather. There is even a private beach to take the kids to on a provided golf court to enjoy. This was my first Vrbo experience and this property has made it a high bar to match going forward.

Second time staying at this lovely condo

We have made the trek from Canada and stayed at this Sawmill Creek condo both times. We come to Ohio for the children to enjoy a few days at Cedar Point since they are big coaster fans. But you don’t need Cedar Point to make this a trip worth taking. We went to a Guardians game and the Rock and Roll hall of fame in Cleveland…and it was a 50 minute drive from Sawmill. The pond beyond the deck is relaxing with fish and turtles that my kids feed non stop, I was worried they’d over feed the poor things but they kept coming back and begging for more. This time I got to play a round at the Sawmill golf course, which is a beautifully kept track. Pristine. My elderly parents also join us and they love to just read and relax on the deck with the nice weather. There’s a lovely diner 2 minutes down the road that has a great breakfast to start your day. I highly recommended it. The whole place is very quiet and has that feeling of being tucked away from it all with nature walks and a beach on the Lake. But you’re still close enough to downtown Sandusky for the Jet Express and some nice pubs/restaurants. If you are coming for Cedar Point, it’s 10-15 minutes to the gates. This does not change my rating at all it’s still 5*’s all the way but the deck itself could use freshening up a bit, a coat of paint/stain maybe. And the lighting in the Condo is a little dim. But overall you won’t be disappointed. Lovely people with a great little spot. Cheers

We loved everything about our stay! The condo was even nicer than the pictures show and supplied with everything we could need. It was so peaceful looking out over the pond and golf course and super convenient for us to get to Cedar Point. The golf cart was also an added bonus. We will definitely rent again when we come back to the area!

Great stay at a great location!

Super clean and in a very nice location. Quiet, but close to all sorts of sights and attractions. Perfect for our two-week stay. Would definitely stay again.

Best of everything!!!!!

That's why we keep coming back. Condo is well equipped. Short walk to lake. Sawmill club house open for quick lunch. More to happen there. soon. Golf, fishing, and we had good weather.

Great Vacation Spot

We were visiting Sandusky for a dance competition at Kalahari but didn't want to stay there. This was the perfect choice - just 10 minutes way, super clean, great space and so tastefully decorated. The deck is right on a golf course pond that is full of fish, turtles and frogs - so it was great to sit and watch the wildlife too. So close to the tourism of Sandusky, but feels like a restful getaway. I cannot say enough great things about the hosts - there was an internet problem and they went out of there way to make sure it got fixed ASAP, that we were not inconvenienced and communicated with us about everything. We have already planned to stay here again! Just FYI for summer 2021 travelers - the resort restaurants are closed for construction, which is not clear on the resort website. But there are lots of restaurants within a 15 minute drive. Costa Azul about 3 minutes away has great Mexican food.

Beauty by the Pond!

This location was lovely! Spacious shared space, central location to cedar point and the ferry- would recommend or revisit any day!
